I literally finish both series back to back. I first started with Meet Yourself. I cried it was a beautiful drama, slow pace for sure but it had so many wonderful side characters and the chemistry between the leads was so beautiful and meaningful. When I started Summer Strike I couldn't help but think back to Meet Yourself. The death of a loved one triggers something inside of them. They move to an unknown place and befriends the people of the town. The only difference between the drama is that Meet Yourself has more of a mature love line and has more comedy mixed in.

I just started league of nobleman but seeing how this is going, it reminds me a lot of the longest day in in chang'an. the cinematography was the first thing that caught my attention. both series have mysteries and cases they solve that eventually sounds like it going to lead up to bigger cases. the only difference is that the longest day in chang'an is based on a one-day event but the action pack and everything that happened within that 24-hour period kept me on edge. the same feelings I have for a league of nobleman, I kept wanting more.

When I watch the first five minutes of Love Kome, I automatically thought of Hotaru and her sweatpants at home with a can of beer! They give us the same vibe of capable women working in an office but at home she is a totally different person.

Both are similar that one of the leads has hearing loss, they love each other, the other partner learns sign language to be able to communicate with them. The only difference is that Kimi no te ga sasayaite iru goes through life after marriage and having a child.

I automatically thought of Fight Song when I saw the plot. Both young couples love music, it is what draws both couples together. But one of the main leads ends up losing their hearing and breaks up with the other. Silent is a bit more sad and dramatic, whereas Fight Song has a bit of comedy.

Similar plots where one of the leads loses their hearing. A love story between young adults who are navigating through love and hearing loss. Lots of signing, I even learn how to sign sorry from Orange Days.

By the same screenwriter. They both are mysteries that are handling unsolved cases or deaths. You learn to love each character as they solve each case leading to the main case of the main lead or the side characters.

First think I thought of was orange days when I saw the summary for Kimi te ga sasayaite iru. Both female leads are deaf and both sign. The FL for orange is a bit angrier at the world and has a bit of sarcasm when she talks in sign language. But both are beautiful films and often motivate me to wanna learn sign language.

I automatically think of tumbling when I think of Rookies and vice versa. All trouble boys learning a sport together. They learn to build a friendship with their members and learn to love the sport.

They both have high school young men, and all the members learning a sport, the only difference is that water boys didn't have delinquents. Rookies were a bunch of bullies, thugs, outcast brought together to play baseball.

They have a similar concept of young boys competing in a sport, water boys synchronized swimming and tumbling with rhythmic gymnastics. It was during high school, through the sport they learn to build their friendship and love the sport.

The movie and series speak such deep volumes.
Both are based on a classic song- first love and Ito.
Both are stories based on first love.
They both are a love story and fates bring the leads to meet each other again later in life, sparkling a second chance at love.
