This series is about a 19-year-old girl, Yoo Min, who was being abandoned after the death of her mother. She lives alone with her adopted brother, Kang Pyo. She accidentally meets Seung Jae, the younger brother of Min Jae. By chance, Yoo Min actually had a crush on Min Jae, a doctor who treats her brother illness for a long time. To fight off his mother demand, Min Jae gets into an engagement contract with Yoo Min and they all end up living at Min Jae's house. Unexpectedly, Yoo Min and Seung Jae are going to the same high school. From there, Seung Jae secretly loves Yoo Min. On the other hand, Yoo Min's father who got amnesia from a car accident is looking for her again when 15 years ago, she had been abandoned by two women who worked at the restaurant. The conflict comes when the people who are living in Min Jae's house are actually related to Yoo Min's abandonment. They are the ones who stole the inheritance and abandoned her when she was four years old. Edit Translation

The plot of this drama wasn't extremely unique or extra special, and they could have done certain things differently, but overall it was an ok drama. For example, some of the middle episodes where she was flip flopping between the guys because they kept pushing her back to the other brother got a little old. Then there's the episodes that just about nocked my socks off like episode 15. The end was cute, but I would have personally liked more closure like: did her father ever forgive SJ and Dr. K's family enough so one of them could marry her? One thing that really bugged me about the plot was how in some episodes they had flashbacks to scenes that happened less than 20 minutes ago and it drove me bonkers, but this luckily only happened every few episodes. So overall the plot had some really cute moments, sad moments, mediocre moments, and annoying moments that all add up into a pretty good drama, not great, but pretty good.

The acting was the best part of the show, because you could really sympathise with the characters and get into the emmotions (this drama had moments that made me cry and I don't cry too easy for tv/movies). The music for this drama was so/so -while I liked the songs they just were overused IMO. Rewatch value is poor just because although I thought the drama was ok and would maybe rewatch the funny parts, I'm not sure I would rewatch the whole thing again.

You may like this drama if you like shining inheritance, glass shoes, romantic princess, and other similarly plotted dramas.

Plot of this drama is a cliche. But, the acting and the songs more than made up for it. The leads were so good and I have never cried so much in a Korean drama than I did for them. This is Da-bin's best work and watching it now, after she died, will further make you feel like she was similar to the female lead character. She has strong chemistry with both the main and secondary male leads.

The music is so, so good. I wasn't a fan of the male lead initially but was won over when he sang the saddest song of unrequited love (Half Love). I feel this is an underrated drama.
