I've watched both Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Shut Up Flower Boy Band and really enjoyed both, so naturally when I heard that the next installment had started filming I was overjoyed. When I saw that Park Shin Hye was going to be the main female character I was pretty happy because to tell you the truth, when I don't like a female character I can get pretty annoyed with a drama, no matter how good it is (I have no idea why, and it's not what you think it is).

When I find a drama that looks interesting and if I want to watch It, I write it down on a sheet of paper. On this sheet of paper, I have about 40 dramas from Korea and Japan. Once I have completed a drama I cross off the one I've just finished and choose a new one from the list. However, when Flower Boy Next Door’s first episode came out I completely scrapped what I was watching and watched Flower Boy Next Door instead.

WHAT HIT ME WHEN WATCHING IT
The first thing that hit me was "wow, the music's pretty good!" When I say music, I don't mean songs with lyrics, but music as in the score they put in the background to make the drama come alive. It was really inventive, entertaining, and jolly -- the kind of instrumental you'd put on your iPod, not the boring stuff they usually use (this is my opinion).

Secondly, it was funny, and not just funny, but super funny! I normally find that dramas need at least 20 minutes to start making you laugh, but not this one, even the first scene made me giggle. At one point, I was literally rolling on the floor unable to stop laughing.  After watching BIG though, I've become a little weary of dramas that get you laughing so much in the first episode, because when they get to about episode 5-6 they lose their humour and centre more on melodrama. I also found this happened with Rooftop Prince. I really hope this won't happen with Flower Boy Next Door.

And the third thing I found was that the main male character is.... Let’s see, I would describe him as awesome but that's not really the right word.... He's cute, funny, charismatic, handsome, and incredibly cool! He's perfect!

In the first episode, we are introduced to a set of characters that look promising. They all come with their individual charm and story, for example, a Japanese guy who has come to Korea to study food and a woman who seems to know our main character. Who could she be?

SYNOPSIS SO FAR (no spoilers)
Our main character is a woman who lives hiding in her downtown apartment. Every morning she wakes up to peep at her next door neighbour with whom she is in love, but one day someone else is in his apartment  and this person has spotted her, what will she do?

WHY YOU SHOULD STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND WATCH THIS IMMEDIATELY

If you are like me and love dramas that make you giggle, you will love it! The characters are very well played, the guys are super handsome, true  미남's  (flower boys), and there's already a love triangle maybe even a square!
