Park Shin Hye confirmed as Pinocchio's Female lead

Pinocchio has booked its first main character with Park Shin Hye accepting the role. She will play the character of a devoted reporter who’s unable to lie. Whenever she’s not being honest, hiccups will give her away (so that’s your Pinocchio!).

The drama will tell the story of young journalists who chase after the truth 24 hours a day. They’re described as dedicated people who are always looking for meaningful scoops while dealing with life’s problems such as love, failure, and success. Alongside Park Shin Hye, Lee Jong Suk is currently considering the main lead role for Pinocchio. The second main roles are being offered to Lee Yu Bi - who's character used to be a sasaeng idol fan then became a journalist - and Kim Young Kwan who will play the role of a wealthy man who dreams of becoming a reporter.
