[edit]Synopsis

Naoko Noda, who works in a trading company, is called "anego" by her younger co-workers. What is "anego"? It means "older sister," but in this case it is given as a nickname to Naoko because she is like a big sister to her coworkers, who depend on her to give them advice about everything. This drama, depicts realistically how Naoko lives her everyday life, including her love life, the problems she faces, and her uneasiness about the future. --NTV

I really didn't like this drama. A friend of mine who watched it told me not to watch it because I wouldn't like it, but I didn't listen to her and watched it anyway. Oh how I regret that decision.

I don't like to write bad reviews, specially of a jdrama, but sometimes, it must be done.

The story didn't start out so bad, it actually is quite refreshing because as was mentioned on a previous review, the leading lady does things that you wouldn't expect the leading lady doing. What I truly hated about this story was that it was based on the argument that she was pathetic just because she was over 30 and still working and unmarried.

Oh, Anego. What a criminally underrated show. Granted, the 'older-woman-younger-man' scenario is commonplace, but Anego handles this potentially trite subject with flair. Noda Naoko will reel you in, as her search for love leads her to make decisions one might not expect from the shows leading lady. Yet she manages to hold sway over the audience as we realize, more than anything, how important it is for one to find happiness... No matter where it comes from.

Kudos to Shinohara Ryoko, this is a role excellently portrayed. Jin's character, however, is far too underdeveloped for it to be lead material. Anego's chemistry with the supporting lead was much more explosive than anything between Anego and Kurosawa, so it leaves you feeling a

I agree that there was very little passion between the two main characters of this drama. Up until the end I was asking myself if they were really in love or what? The character of Naoko was very well acted, and also women's friendship very well represented. But besides these two positive elements, I really would not recommend watching it if one is looking for real romance.

So little passion and a bit unappealing characters. I somehow found myself fast-forwarding most of it and the lovers action I got was so minimal I just am disappointed. They barely look at each other, what marriage?

A nice drama :O There were some awesome scenes where I laughed so much : o
BUT there wasn't so much chemistry with the main chars :<
The start was awesome and the ending was kinda weird <_<'

Anyway. I liked the movie. Final was successful. Somehow, open and completed simultaneously. I can not explain it another way and they know what they want. The last scene was awesome!
p.p Sorry for the spam, but I can't write what I think only with 300 characters xD

Interesting view: Japanese women over 30 years old, with heels, skirt and sports jacket and run to the sidelines of a rugby pitch teapot in hand, waving and screaming... rofl it was funny.
But why do they keep trying to convince us that respect for older woman with so young a man would be successful
