[edit]Synopsis

This series follows the daily lives of 4 vampires that live together in a European-style building: Kiyoi is the eldest who takes care of the others, Masakazu is a college student who gets information on criminal activities, and Ageha and Makoto both go to high-school (and tend to end up helping Masakazu whether they really want to or not). They fight against crime when the cops are unwilling or unable to do so. The series is based off of a shounen-ai manga published in B's Log. Whether you like shounen-ai or not, it hasn't been very obvious in this series and it may not be... the jury's still out on that. TimeLesSub

While I admit the story line is extremely cheesy in some places, it is just as sweet and touching in others. The relationship between the characters is incredibly well depicted. This is not an indepth story...if you want that go look at Vampire Prosecutor. But neither should you pass it by. Once you get into the story, it's very entertaining and interesting. The characters grow on you with each episode, and you are rooting for their family by the end. Some of the vampire parts are silly, but it was the best for its time. I would actually be as likely to re-watch this as I would be to re-watch Vampire Prosecutor (and in fact I have re-watched this show a couple times). It's short, and read more

Whoa buddy. This series was....uh...well...um... Originally I wanted to watch this because I find vampires interesting. However this series did not hold my interest. The story was good, but the mega-cheese acting decided to show up in full-force and I could not handle it! Normally I can deal with a little cheese-ball acting but there was so much of it that I literally had to drag myself through the show. I wanted to drop the series so badly but I felt like I might be missing out on a great story if I stopped. Once I completed the show I felt that I possibly wasted my time. Oh well. If you like cheesy acting, embarrassing special effects, and a random (sometimes confusing) storyline then you should read more

What is with that acting!? Is this made in some club at school? Weird pauses mood-killing dialog, well, everything from acting down to script is just plain terrible. Personality is a mess. Ah but, setting is good, I want to see more of the story. Too bad the manga's not scanlated...

Maybe it's just me but the cheesy facial expressions just kill the mood. I know that in Japan it's probably funny, but to me it just comes across as bad acting. Still going to try to finish the series though...
