So ofcourse the story would have to be given 10. I dont think i need to explain that to you guys.

Acting/Cast: I gave 8 because there were certain characters i loved and others, not so much.
At first, i didn't like Acchan as Mizuki. Maybe its because i'm such a huge Maki fan. I'm not sure. But slowly she grew on me. I think her acting got better.
Most of the cast was pretty cool. Tomo, who plays Kayashima (Aura guy) was able to portray the same character in a completely different light and gave a completely different feeling to Kayashima. I absolutely loved it!
Miura Shohei's Nakatsu was very Similar to Toma's Nakatsu. However, i still think he was able to bring a bit

Many people would say why did they have to do a remake and there was people who even thought about it as an irritating act while they haven't even gave it a shot; i totally hate judging something without giving it a try so i watched the remake; at first i was confused about the cast and it took me 2 episodes to get use to it and as the episodes went by i had great feelings 4 this drama, it's much faithfull to the drama than the original. There are some personnalities that deffers from both dramas ; some were great and some weren't, i didn't get disappointed while watching it and the ending was a little better than the original. Anyway , seing Hana read more

Once I got over the high pitched voice of the main actress (for me Maki-chan was perfect) I liked this version in many ways better than the original.

It made me laugh because it was genuinely funny, unlike the original, where 70% of the time I was laughing from confusing wtf moments (rocking horse!?).

This Nakatsu, while not being as epic as Ikuta Toma's, was also much sweeter and not so mean to Mizuki at first, which always annoyed me in the original, so for me he was better.

Sano's character was also improved (more like the manga, instead of him being a jerk for more than half the show) but the actor that played him IMO did't have the required sex appeal.

There is also much more of the side characters than in the first version, which I liked alot and is more like the manga. Kayashima in particular was great.

I should also mention this Oscar was a HUGE improvement over the wierd/annoying character from the original.

I do think it was pretty lazy of them to use the same BGM as the original though....

After writing this I was compelled to rewatch this show.

I had forgotten how smoking hot Umeda is in this version. He was really great and I wish there would have been more of him.

The first episode is not that great. It has way too much storyline stuffed into it compared to the later episodes. Stick it out until episode 3 or 4 before judging too harshly.

I seriously never gonna watch this. Not because of the bad reviews only.Because it doesnt even make sense why you would spend money to make a remake of a drama which was already a success. You could make a sequel ,I guess, which is also very risky but at least makes sense. This doesnt. The drama was remake of the manga,so this is like a remake of the remake...utterly stupid if you ask me :D

I liked that it followed the manga closer than the first version, however I preferred the cast from the first version over this one.

i think the remake is okay. i just had a huge problem with ..why they chose a high-pitched voice of a girl to play mizuki. nothing against the actress, but.. they could've done better with the casting. they ALSO couldve done her "makeup" better by NOT making it so obvious.. she's suppose to be a boy but she very much still looked like a girl.. and she was the shortest person there.. ive never read the manga, and heard this remake was suppose to be closer to the manga than the 2007 release. and ive seen the manga art and she looked similarly drawn like the guys were. but here.. she's totally a girl, guys. no matter how much she did walk like a guy, she still had the face, voice, hand size, shoe size, posture, of a girl.

At first I couldnt stand watching it because I couldnt stop comparing it to the original. After I stopped comparing the two I actually found it pretty funny. Of course I still think that the original one is the best and had hotter actors, but I love (still in eps 3) how it has scenes from the manga that sadly the original one didnt have.

Halfway through this show, I stopped comparing the two Japanese versions. If I have to though, i actually do prefer the remake. Sano is actually likable in this version!

I love all 3 HK dramas. This version got to me most because it explored the relationship between Nakatsu and Kayashima much more than any other version has. Also, despite the fact that I love Maki, Shun, and Toma, I found the younger cast to be rather refreshing. I also didn't feel that it was exactly the same as previous versions.

I loved the 2007 version. Taiwanese was better than 2007 j-version but this. DAMN this version rocks!! I loved the way they ended this drama and this was like a totally different drama. The first ep was also awesome. 2007 had better OST and better chemistry between leads but I just love all 3

Ah I must say a lot of you haven't seemed to give the Drama much of a chance. I found it to be enchanting in its own way and it got better as it went along. Also, really? Judging a drama on the looks of the actors? For shame! I know that you guys could not be that shallow.
