[edit]Synopsis

Bem (Kamenashi Kazuya), Bella (Anne) and Bello (Suzuki Fuku) are ugly monsters that are neither human nor animals, but they are peace-loving, righteous heroes who feel compelled to help humans in trouble. Because they are monsters, they are feared and detested by humans, and on top of that, pursued by the police. However, a friendship develops between them and a detective (Kitamura Kazuki) by mere accident. Through their contact with humans, Bem, Bella and Bello?s earnest wish to become human grow increasingly stronger. They battle evil for the sake of mankind, in the belief that they will be able to become humans one day.

I watched this for Kame, and he did a pretty good job, but not good enough to make up for everything else. The plot, effects, and most of the characters were just way too cheesy. I didn't feel emotionally attached to any of it and most of the time when plot points got revealed it was like "Oh... that's it?" And I really didn't like the ending. On an up note, I thought Kame, Anne, and the little boy did a pretty good job with what they had. Their interactions were what kept me going through the end.

I went into this drama expecting it to be pretty iffy.
I was surprised however by how much I actually liked it.
The story line was original. It followed the anime somewhat. and the characters were very intriguing. The actors did a great job. I felt all of their emotions especially their pain. Although the special effects were kind of dated I just associated it as a relation to the old 60's anime that this is based off of. It's a great watch. I recommended it to anyone. Except if your expecting a love story their is none. So don't bother watching if that's what you're looking for. Other then that Happy Watching Everyone!
