This isnt a very complicated series. Is that a problem? No. What it does it does fairly well. It shows the journey of young guy who found his passion and relentlessly pursued it towards success.
I find this purely an inspirational piece with just the right amount of episodes and episode length.
The only unfortunate thing about it is the occasional poor acting and a few badly made scenes.
The series is very much so straight to the point so if you are looking for something more emotionally engaging this is not for you. But if you are looking for something that shows you hope and might strenghten your resolve this is definitely a good pick.

Unfortunately, I can't tell anything good about the drama. The all story is simple relation - how Sakaki Ryou achieves success.

Earielr, I've watched Jotei and I have to say that it was much better. It seems the both dramas are comparable, because they concerns Host Club. I'm sure that if the main character opened a male cabaret, the all story would be more interesting.

As interesting as this drama may be, do you guys realize that these guys must hate their jobs? I mean, all a host is, is an emotional hooker. Their job is to get you drunk and make you think they are the most amazing thing in the world so you request them again. Heck, in some host bars, it is a front for prostitution. Sorry but, these dramas do nothing for me.

Even though Giragira and TEIOH are both about the nightlife industry, I think they're very different. Giragira was way over the top and unrealistic, but it didn't take itself seriously, like everyone was in on the joke. TEIOH was just as unrealistic, but it often felt like it was trying too hard.
