Kirin High School of Art has been taken over by Oz Entertainment because of financial bankruptcy. Oz Entertainment then transfers over its own idol stars to Kirin High to avoid a law requiring under age entertainers to study for a set time. Competition then brews between troubled students at Kirin High School of Art and then newly transfered idols from Oz Entertainment. Shin Hae-Sung (Kang So-Ra) enters Kirin High School of Art with a high written exam score, but poor performance scores. She then meets fellow students Jin Yoo-Jin (Jinwoon) and JB (JB), who makes her realize how fun music can be. Jin Yoo-Jin acted when he was a young child. Now, he is a troubled student dreaming of becoming a rock star. He attempts to cure his pain caused by his parent's divorce through music.

    i really tried with this drama. i really did.

    like everyone else has said, they tried cramming way too much into 16 episodes. had they stuck with a simple underdog story and quit using the program as a showcase for idols, it would have been a great drama.

    the cast did their best with this awful script but not even the acting could save it.

    I have not watched the original Dream high so i have nothing to compare this one to but in my opinion for just watching this one it was really good. The guys were hot which i love

    I'll only express this drama with one word.Horrible.
    I am a Dream High fan but I seriously didn't expect it to be that disappointing :l

    disappointing....about people trying to become stars but seriously what was the point in it?! Romance was unconvincing and it just didnt serve any purpose!?! Liked some of the casts and the music was really good - just poorly made!

    At first I really didn't like it... it was strange to see Kirin High the way it was in this season... but in the end, I've come to like it! It came in the moment, when I stopped comparing those two dramas and thought about it as about some new one. So... I like it, and it wasn't such disappointment for me...(also discovered some actors I might like in the future, too)

    same as LLL78 disappointed but I enjoy the music but hard to explain I think I just love DH 1 more *sorry just comment*
    but I saw Suzy in DH2 ILove her ^^ hehehe

    I was soo Disappointed by the hole drama ! i had a really hard time to convince myself to keep watching it and just when something interesting was happening they changed to totally unrated and useless subject ! <br />I mean they such good actors and the characters personalities were all perfect i just felt like they wasted a hole lot of potential they could have went deeper into the characters ... it's like they didn't take any risks just because of the low ratings ... haa... but I do have to compliment the dancing and song choices were really amazing (in fact i discovered lots of new kpop groups i didn't know about thanks to this drama) ...

    I just finished watching and I loved it. Although, I was disappointed, I still loved it. It's just too bad because JB and Haesung didn't end up together but at least they dated in the middle of the series. That's enough for me. I'll just conclude the drama with they ended up together in my mind. :P

    Gotta admit , the story was good in the first few episodes . But I felt like 13 episodes was DEFINITELY not enough for the romance to build up and everthing else . Was SUPER disappointed !! Wish there were more episodes and so the story could be progressed not quickened .

      There were plenty of episodes of get the romances going, they just buggered it up and didn't do it properly, lol

    Nothing beats Dream High but Dream High 2 even though it boring at times it was fun to watch because I mean who wouldn't love watching other peoples dreams come true?! Any who, I hope there will be a Dream High 3 and this time I hope for the BEST! =)
