I will start by saying what I liked most about this drama was Gong Yoo. I loved him so much in coffee prince, that I just wanted to see him in something else. I couldn't help but be charmed by him as Tae In. The character was so sweet, playful, and heartbreaking all at once. It's his character that kept me watching.

I thought Gong Hyo Jin played her role well too, and loved the chemistry between Na Bori & Tae In, but I didn't exactly love her character. Na Bori was frustrating to watch at times, often silly, and towards the end I found her actions to be almost mean. I also wasn't impressed by the chemistry between her and Ji Hyun Woo. Kim Da

We all know what happens in a forbidden kind of love story between student and teacher and I expected it to go the cliched way right from the beginning but Biscuit Teacher surprised me here. The relationship between Tae In and Bo Ri has been depicted with sensitivity and a lot of depth-they are like friends, each other's mentors, guides, siblings, parents and lovers. Beginning was extremely fun and humorous with lotsa hilarious and heart-rendering situations involving individual students. But towards the end it kind of became a drag where there was little to no substantial plot development. It was heart-breaking to see Tae In cry so much and frustrating to see Bo Ri read more

  • Premise seems kind of similar...Cha Chi Soo and Tae In are a lot alike and the younger man-older woman love angle.

  • Both dramas have a nosy teacher as main lead. She sticks her nose into her students problems and solves them. Plus both of them knows how to kick ass. Gokusen is more comedy oriented while the other one focuses on romance more.
