Kang Tae Joo (Eric) is a player with charm and good looks who always dates rich women. One day, he finds a strange poor girl named Han Eun Soo (Jung Yoo Mi) sleeping in front of his door. Although he initially despises her, he eventually finds himself falling for her. Cha Hye Lin (Yoon Ji Hye) is the daughter of a rich shopping mall CEO. Her first love, Shin Joon Hyuk (Lee Kyu Han), dumps her at her father's request. Hye Lin buys herself a new boyfriend to make her ex jealous. That man is Kang Tae Joo, and during their contract relationship, Hye Lin begins to fall in love again. However, Tae Joo already has a girlfriend and he can't forget her as easily as he has forgotten all the women in his past. This drama is basically about the redemption of Kang Tae Joo from bastard to human.

    Que Sera Sera isn't your typical Korean drama in that it is mature and intense in the emotions that it envokes.
    The plot often turns violent, twisted and sexy as all 4 main characters become entangled in this "game" that is supposedly centered around love.
    The drama challenges you and there are some interesting discussions about this drama on soompi that are quite interesting to read through. Either you'll love this drama or you will hate it.

    There is no stereotypical character. Each and every one of the main characters are imperfect beings, acted to perfection by the actors all across the board.
    This drama is also Eric's best role to date. His character was hard to really like and his portrayal brought some humanity to     read more

    LOVE THIS DRAMA! IT'S A MUST-WATCH..The chemistry between the main leads feel so real which makes the drama great!.. In my opinion it didnt dragged as most drama do.. It has a unique plot and of course lots of TWIST in the story!.. you will not get bored and One of my favourite dramas of all time!!... YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

    *edit* I know that some are always looking for great kissing scenes in dramas well let me tell you this had the best out of all ive seen...

  • Both dramas have the same feel. They are both darker and more mature. They are both smart and not fluffy. Plus, they each deal with very similar situations and circumstances throughout. They are both dramas with four leads: a rich girl, a rich guy, a poor girl, and a poor guy. I saw Que Sera, Sera first and really enjoyed it and was pleased to find What Happened in Bali, which is so similar. They aren't your typical Korean dramas.

  • The plot are totally different but the CHEMISTRY AND LOVE between the leads is so real and not to mention the kissing scenes are just great there is no lip-tighten kisses in these two .. they are the real thing esp in Que Sera Sera.. I sound like a perv now but its true awsome awsome dramas!

    I started watching the first 2 episodes. And I dropped it. I know, its actually to early to drop it. But I have to say, to me the most important criterion to like a drama is the characters. None seemed pleaseant to me. The female lead seemed like a stupid following every order, the male lead was TOO harsh. Usually I prefer dramas with bad boys, but in this point he just couldnt convince me.
    I mean not that he only was harsh and a player, he had nothing sympathetic at all.
    I know Im being to rude critizing all these just after two episodes, but well...I just had to let it out xD

    OH MY GOSH! How come I only found out this drama today. I did a marathon session & have been on the computer for about 17 hours (only taking bathroom breaks).

    This is one of the best dramas I have seen in a while. I watched every single minute of it (did not skip anything). The story was awesome & well written. The cast was just full of beautiful people. Eric is now one of my faves (I have to see more of his stuff). The romance, OH THE ROMANCE was just perfect (the Koreans are starting to really learn about kissing scenes). You will feel every emotion, glance, hug, kiss, anxiety, regret, tears along with the characters. I just could not have a favorite one because all of them where perfect.

    The music was outstanding. The fashion & scenery could not be better or prettier. You just want the story to continue & continue & continue & continue.

    I will be re-watching this drama many times.

    This is one of my ALL TIME favorite dramas. It is the one of those that I can add to my re-watch drama and I do not re-watch dramas.

    Finished! Well if you want something slow paced drama then this drama is good choise. To me it was bit too slow but the acting is good. I would describe this drama as "a bucket full tears". Music is really good and I give thumbs up for using one of Daft Punk's songs. And if you want so see passionate kissing, this drama is a MUST watch! And Eric is hot #drooool

    When I started to watch this drama I was bit unsure about the cast and the story. The start was so slow to my own opinion and the first episode bored me. BUT it will get better, I guarantee it! Specially the ninth episode pulled the rug under me and I was astonished. Great acting and very good script wrinting! I'll be back and definitely tell my whole opinion when I completed the drama.
