Wow where do I begin with this drama?

Well let's start with the fact that this drama ought to be deemed as a CLASSIC in dramaland. It is not classical in the way in which it is filled with accidental kisses and nonsensical tragedies but it is classical in the way that all the emotions involved and expressed in the drama were universals. They were still relevant to me as a viewer despite the fact that the drama was created TEN years, a decade ago. Oh did I mention that this drama pulled me out of a slump and has become a trigger for my recent Taiwanese drama obsession phase? Anyways, the psychological states, questions, and statements of Qi Lou, Chen Ling, and Sheng were so interesting and were webbed beautifully on-screen.
From the story to acting, everything was top-notch and amazing. The story managed to put hardcore issues such as rape, suicide, and mental illness without over dramatizing them. The directing and producing was superb. The acting of Barbie and ZaiZai were off the charts and they had steaming chemistry as two very hurt individuals in society. Megan Lai, Xie Jie Kai, and An Jun Can played their supporting roles with dimension and grace. An Jun Can's character is solid, creepy, hopeless, and intelligent. He really will make you think and doubt many things.
The music was well-fitted into the drama especially Alan Kuo's Ling. Sometimes the lyrics matched exactly as the situation on-screen, enhancing the scenes.
Lastly, from my personal opinion, this is a drama I would definitely re-watch. There is just something about this drama that will just pull you in even if you know what is going to happen.Plus I'm a sucker for Vic Zhou's acting so the rating is a little biased hehe

Overall, whether your a new watcher or an old watcher like me, you will come to adore this drama.

Loved it! I saw the drama and the movie! The acting was brilliant. Both leads were exceptional and the storyline was most impressive. Though not scientifically realistic, it was a very entertaining drama to watch. Every episode was worth watching. It will leave you wanting for more. I love the song, "Kiss-shite". Its a very sweet song <3. I rewatched certain episodes of this drama and I barely rewatch anything. Overall, it is one of my most memorable dramas and I was obsessed over it for a while . Plus, the character was slightly imitated in the last episode of in Meitantei Okite, another drama.

This drama is awesome, I tell you, it's awesome! Fortunately, I found this drama when I was going through a huge drama slump and I didn't know what to watch. Watching this drama made me smile and laugh a LOT. I mean while I was watching the drama, I got so absorbed in the love affairs like Tenchou was! Additionally, the writers who wrote this drama which aired in 2003, has written one of the best comical scripts that I've seen in Jdramas. Everything was so intricately planned and so detailed. I've never come across a story like this before.

Let's not forget about the actors in the show. Tenchou who barely speaks in this drama was so hilarious! His narrations and his thoughts were so entertaining to listen to. The other characters like Nobuko and Chikura Sensei were really funny also. My favorite lines were "Waaaafffers!" and "I say this from my experience, my life, and my soul."

I started watching this drama with the expectation that this will be some cheesy, boring war love story BUT it is not that. Although this drama is not well known among the drama community, it is something that you will not regret watching (oh the feels). This drama entered into the list of my top favorite Japanese dramas and it's going to stay there. The story which mostly takes place in the 1960s has a "oldie" feel to it. However, this feel doesn't hinder the drama. The story is filled with some cliches with a great classy touch. It is not fast paced but rather paced very evenly. Utahime will make you frustrated, laugh, cry, and smile. The story has a deeper and greater message that is AWESOME. The acting was fabulous and the cast was ebbing with charisma. The music was very good to me since I adore TOKIO songs but you might think otherwise. As for the rewatch value, it's pretty high since I am already watching it again, and I barely rewatch anything besides Galileo! Overall, this drama is beautiful, charming, and alluring. It brings about an air of sadness, nostalgia and beauty that one will rarely come across as a viewer.

Looking at it this drama is not that bad guys! Sure I wouldn't recommend this to a person who just started K-dramas but it has its pros and cons.First of all, I would like to applaud the writers of this drama who decided to do something different for once. Lot of viewers desire change in the stereotypical romantic comedy formula. This is definitely a drama that is not too stereotypical in taste especially with the ending. Logically, the story and the ending actually makes sense for once. It is even realistic besides the time-traveling concept. Other than that, lot of people had the perception that the story is really slow sometimes. I would say it is around like episode 9 but it picks up its pace. However, it is not a boring drama. Time travel and alternate universes are very great plot types or at least I enjoy those concepts. Next, as for the acting, I think the actors did a great job. Yoon Eun Eye and Han Chae Ah did a great job with their characters. Han Chae Ah is impressive with her role as an independent woman while Yoon Eun Hye's character development is amazing. Kya~ This is Lee Dong Gun's comeback after a long time but I think he played his characters to its worth. Plus, Yong Hwa's acting has improved so much since You're Beautiful. I'm so glad that he wasn't in Heirs. Additionally, the music was so-so not memorable for me, sorry. It's not bad but it will not leave much of an impression. This drama isn't that re watch-able either. It is kind of like a one-time rush drama for me since I caught up to episode 14 in a short time. Overall, this drama deserves a 8 and is not that bad. I'd recommend this to Yong Hwa fans, Lee Dong Gun fans, people who don't want to cliche rich-boy-poor-girl dramas, people who just don't want to watch a romance kdrama but still want romance, or finally someone who wants something different for once.

I don't know if most viewers are watching or have watched this drama for the same reasons I had but I watched it for Aaron Yan. I adore Fei Lun Hai and I follow the dramas of all its members particularly. Besides my very own bias, I will have to admit that this drama is very good and just that. Starting from the music, I loved the OST especially the opening! Shing Lai Ye is a very cliche song but nevertheless, a very cute song. Plus, the ending song by Aaron Yan is delightful as his voice is so rich and vicarious (my bias coming out again). Next, the acting is not that bad. Aaron Yan's acting has improved from his last drama and Puff Guo pulls off the adorable, optimistic character really well. She's adorable but not so cutsy that you want to vomit. Dean Fujioka is always a pleasure on the screen and his character is actually smart. Our villains did a good job too although I felt Jia Yu was forcing the emotion. But despite that, it is great to watch actors that are putting their effort into a piece of work. Lastly for the story, it is not extraordinary but well-written. Towards the middle of the drama, it was dragging but it picks up the pace. I am not going to rewatch this because this is a one time- absorption journey, well in my opinion. The only complaint I'd really stress is that the show ought to have included a scene with Jia Yu apologizing to Liang Liang. This really should have been done.So overall this is a cute drama! I'd recommend to people who have watched Yan's previous works or just like cute romances.

WARNING: Really long review!I just finished the drama!

From a PERSONAL perspective, this is a very good Taiwanese drama! Although, I am not the action/police drama junkie which is why I had originally decided not to watch this drama, this show was an attention keeper and great watch for me. I think people who love romantic comedies may end up liking this drama too because there is some romance and there is a whole bunch of comedy in this.

I'd like to start by mentioning that the story of this drama is very well prepared and well written. The stories of each character mingle and mesh so beautifully and so unexpectedly. Each character is unique, and third dimensional. The watcher will really enjoy the stories and the bromance of the male leads, Chen Zai Tian and Wu Ying Xiong. Many viewers might feel that at a certain point in time, the story was too twisty but I have to disagree. That's what makes this drama fun to watch!

Next, the music is well-coordinate with the themes of the show. The opening by COLOR and Mark Chao is a nice song representing the show and it was presented nicely. The ending by Jason Zou which is sung in ENglish and there's another song by him which is used throughout the show also fit the themes of the show.

The ACTING was fab, like fab from almost most of the cast. This is my first drama with both Vic Zhou, Mark Chao, and Janine Chang. All these three did a great job. I adored Vic Zhou's character and I must say Mark Chao has a lot of talent. It is hard to believe that this was his first full drama! I was already familiar with Ivy Chen from Extravagant Challenge and I liked the way she portrayed Chen Lin. She did what she needed to do. I want to make a special mention to Kingone Wang (kya~) who did a fantastic job as Gao Yi. He played a chemist and an addict like no other.

As for the rewatch value, I gave it a 6 because the thrill will be gone the second time. There will be no suspense which is why I don't really watch police dramas/mystery dramas again. But there is one romance scene I really like between Zai Tian and Cheng Lin which will go in a mv someday.

Overall, if you want something unpredictable and different in Taiwanese dramas or Asian dramas in general, this is a great choice. It's refreshing, it's exciting, and has a whole package of many different genres like action, comedy, friendship, and a slight hinge of romance.

This is an awesome drama! The storyline is exquisitely splendid. The acting was very, very , very well done. Hands up to the cast especially Shin Ha Kyun. His crying and anger scenes are really a pleasure to watch. Choi Jung Won was fit for the role. Jung Jin Young was great as well especially in the scenes that portrayed his pain and solitude. The emotions and the message of the drama was very expressed well. As for music, it was average. However, to me, the lack of great music didn't make a difference. I was too engaged with the plot to notice about the music. Another great thing about this drama is that its sweet and doesn't abuse the use of flashbacks like other k-dramas. Thank Goodness. Due to this, the scenes feel less cliche and flow nicely. The cons of this drama are only two. First, the ending was so ambiguous, I didn't know how to interpret it. Second, I wish there were more scenes depicting and developing the relationship between the two leads. It looked like only one side of the romance was more expressed. I recommend it to every type of audience and I especially recommend it to medical drama lovers.

I usually don't give any drama a 10 and I mean that. You'll see in my list that only a few dramas have a 10. However, this drama deserves the 10 probably most of the reviewers are giving it. At first I wasn't hooked at all. I mean "Come on, it was a drama about bread. I eat roti everyday, nothing special." Also, I had seen one of the scenes from the drama prior to watching it which made me dislike it a little. Then, I received a recommendation to watch it by another user on Youtube. That was when I finally started watching it. The beginning was your usual Korean, makjang hardcore melodrama. However, the beginning was a setup for the middle and the end. After watching the drama for a few episodes, I got really into it, like REALLY into it. Next thing I knew,I was watching this day and night.I had a tough time finding some of the episodes too and watched this back when kimchidrama was still working. Anyways, this drama is 30 episodes and is the longest Korean drama I have watched up to date. Let me tell you that I didn't regret it at all. Every episode was worth the wait and watch. The acting is superb. I mean what can I say. Yoo Shi Yoon, Joo Won, Yu Jin, Lee Young Ah, and all the others, just bravo! The music is awesome and not too fast paced. I don't like slow paced music but the OST for this drama was too good to not listen to. Props to all the musical staff for the drama. Nothing was overdone but my only con was the romance. One side of the romance was a trailblazer but the other side not so much. However, I can understand why the other side was filmed that way and makes the drama more practical. But still, I still wanted the romance to develop more fluidly. Other than that, this drama is off the charts and is recommended to anyone of any age and any country.

Soratobu Kouhoushitsu was truly one of the most touching and inspiring dramas that I have ever seen up to date. This isn't the kind of drama I usually watch and the only drama related to planes I've ever seen were the Attention Please series. However, don't let this kind of bias stop you from watching this drama because the story is so beautiful and intricate. This drama isn't extremely fast-paced but will slowly sink into your heart and create a space for its place. That is the kind of drama it is.

So the acting in this drama is golden. Aragaki Yui and Ayano Go both stole my heart in this drama. I had seen Yui at numerous other dramas like Legal High, Zenkai Girl, and My Boss My Hero but this drama proves once again that she is a phenomenal actress. However this is my first drama with Ayano Go and I have touched by his acting. His expressions are so on point and his intense crying scenes are so well acted that they made me cry. I haven't cried while watching a drama in a long time but this drama managed to get me to be a little teary at almost every episode. A special mention goes out to Shibasaki Kyohei who played Sagisaka-san and is like the boss ever. He is such a cool and amazing character that is hard to find in dramas nowadays. Kaname Jun played a classy, cutey idiot very well and brought some great comical scenes in the drama. All of the supporting cast did a fantastic job in their roles and the drama felt very real to me, like that it wasn't a drama, and that the characters were actually living their roles.

The music of the drama wasn't too big in number and mostly one song was used. That song was Amuro Namie's Contrail which is such a nice song! It was the perfect song for the scenes in the drama and has become one of my favorite songs now. Everything about the drama was so beautiful and was put together so nicely. The direction, production, and camera work were all so spectacular so I had to mention them.

So to end, I just can't with this drama. I gave this drama an overall almost 10 because it deserved that score. The drama left me satisfied in the end. I didn't feel like the end was incomplete or that there wasn't enough romance between the leads. Whatever genres and themes that were intended to be expressed in this drama were expressed very well. I'm pretty sure you won't regret taking the time to watch this and it is a shame that this drama isn't as popular as others.

I was immediately interested in this drama the instant I saw the story and casting. I personally adored Daniel Henney in My Name is Kim-Sam Soon and Rain in Full House. So I thought I should give it a try. The cast acted very well for their roles. Rain is hilarious at certain times. I personally like the OST for this drama including the songs Bang Bang Bang and Running by MBLAQ plus Mayday by Oran-G. Their all in my ipod. The storyline was interesting but certain times dragged on the story. It could have ended earlier. Overall, it was good though. I liked the two couples in this drama. very cute and well presented.

Although I didn't cry until later in the series, this drama was breathtakingly beautiful and sad. Truly it is one of the most spectacular and finest dramas made by Japan. It's not one of the highest rated dramas for no reason. Don't hesitate because this drama doesn't lack much. It is based on a real story and although it deals with the depressing topic of sickness like lots of other dramas, the concept doesn't take away anything from the show. The story was finely written and flows like a ball of yarn rolling across the floor. It had everything, sadness, happiness, youth, and even some breezy romance. You'll learn not just a lot of medical things from the show but you'll also learn the value of a person's existence. The acting of the entire cast deserves a standing ovation especially Sawajiri Erika. The music is very sentimental and mellow which is perfect for the atmosphere of the show. The theme song "Human" by K is one of my favorite songs of all time. As for the rewatch value, I gave it a 6 because I don't think I could rewatch this drama many times like I can for Galileo. The roller coaster of emotions from episode to episode would be too much for me to handle. However, there might be that one Friday or Sunday night, when I can sit back against the wall by my bed and watch an episode of this drama. Overall, great show. Go ahead and watch it. It is definitely worth the watch!

WARNING: Watching this drama when you are hungry and/or on a diet may be an extremely bad idea. If you do choose to do, accompany each episode with food LOL

As you can tell from the warning, this is a food-based drama so it showcases a lot of foods. Adding to the blend of genres this drama has, it's also a combination of romance, mystery, and comedy. I went into this drama expecting very little but ended up being a devout fan. The mystery angle of this drama was very refreshing and the overall pace of the drama was excellent. In my opinion, the romance is very practical with the setup of the characters' circumstances compared to most other K-dramas. It wasn't the main focus of the show but nevertheless the couple was cute on-screen.

I won't lie that I had some negative misconceptions about Doojoon's acting before watching the drama. I didn't expect a lot but his acting is fantastic here and he gave the role some great justice. As for Lee Soo Kyung, I was already a fan of her acting since "Call of the Country." Her acting skills never fail to impress me. The other characters were lovable as well and I'd say that everyone's action was smooth like butter, almost very natural. It shows the maturity of the actors in the show with the direction of the production.

The OST for this drama is something I'll say. A hilariously catchy song by K.Jun is the main insert. I can't believe I ended up liking this song so much. It shows how much of a dork I can be but I thoroughly enjoyed the music in this.

Overall, tasty drama with some elements of surprise. It is the kind of drama that you can slowly sink into. Definitely a recommended watch for all kinds of drama watchers.

Honestly, the mystery/investigation genre is my favorite genre when it comes to dramas, so I've seen a lot of them. This was my second mainland Chinese drama and I was frankly very pleased with it. As a frequent watcher of the genre, I absolutely loved this show. It draws and keeps your attention. Nowadays, it is very hard to find a drama that does that.

The story was based on a novel by Ding Mo for the most part with some scenes that were changed. The last two episodes weren't part of the novel but added by the scriptwriters. The addition wasn't really necessary but I think the show may have a sequel, so that's why it was done. As for the plot, I'd describe it as dark, ingenious, clever, and mind-numbing. The writer and scriptwriter definitely put a lot of layers into the story but it was never too confusing to follow. Here and there they troll you but it added a level of depth to the drama.

Oh man what can I say about the acting by this cast! Everyone's acting was pretty decent in my opinion. I think Sandra Ma did a decent job with her role but there were times when I just wasn't feeling her. Bo Jin Yan's character was intricate and multi-dimensional, and his expressions were on point. He stuck to his character till the end and his acting made him a pleasure to watch on the screen. I don't have enough praises for Wallace Huo's acting. I loved his bestie who was played by Wang Kai. His acting was very natural and refreshing to watch. I also liked Andy. You'll know who it is when you watch the drama ;)

As for the music, the beginning instrumental was epic. It sounded like the Sherlock soundtrack and it was used as background music effectively in the drama. The ending is nice and slow-faced but it is not bad on the ears. I'd like to compliment the camerawork and cinematography of the drama too. As for the re-watch value, it is typical for a mystery drama. You already know what happens, so that's why it is so low.

Overall, I'd recommend this drama to all viewers. Even if your not a mystery fan, the drama has a mix of other genres like romance too. It is one of the best dramas of 2015 I've seen this year by far.

I'm not going to lie so I'm going to say that two of the biggest reasons for watching this drama at first was Chris Wu and the synopsis that involved music. Turns out that this one is probably one of the most decent and spectacular Taiwanese dramas I've seen up to date. Although what I just said may sound like I'm over exaggerating considering that the story of this drama is not something stunning, however the presentation of the story was off the charts. I think this drama did a great job of taking a typical story about people with big dreams and turning it into something that gives us the emotional feels inside.

Next, simply put, the acting of the cast was just so well done. Of course I adored Chris Wu's acting because I feel like every part of him could act. Kimi did a great job and didn't make me want to barf like some other T-drama leads. Yes at first, her character made me feel really vexed because it was too "over" but it made great developments as the drama went on. Nita and Mike did a decent job with their acting too. Actually, the supporting cast and staff were so awesome in this drama.

The music in this drama is freakin' mind-numbing. I don't think I've ever listed to an opening song so much from a Taiwanese drama in my life. You're the Only One by Mayday is now one of my favorite songs and will forever remain so. Now I started to take notice of Mayday ever since I found out that they were behind this song. The other songs from this drama such as the ending by Jia Jia is so nice to hear too. It is one of those slow songs that that I actually like listening to which is rare.

Even though this is a Chris Wu drama, this drama portrays a journey and it is very hard to capture those same feelings when watching this drama again.

Overall this drama got a lot of things right from the start. It is an all-round recommended T-drama to watch and will not bore the hell out of you.
