[edit]Synopsis

Han Qi Luo (Barbie Hsu),an extremely shy art student went to the same college as Chen Ling (Vic Zhou),a popular play boy. By chance one day they met at a park when CL asked HQL for direction to a hospital to visit his friend who was injured in a bike racing incident. Hurriedly HQL drew him a map, unknowing that she was drawing on the back of one of her sketches. She ran off before he could thank her. He then noticed the sketch of a mother holding a baby and was touched. In school HQL was sexually harrassed by a teacher and CL came to her rescue. They began to grow fond of each other but each of them had a secret past that needed to be addressed and overcome before they could accept and love one another freely. -- Dramawiki

    STORY------ 10/10

I find this story very interesting, I like the fact that the writer actually adapted most of the scenes from the original Japanese manga (MARS by Furumi Soryo, 1996, if you haven't read it yet I recommend that too you'll be amazed at the resemblance) back to the story line one of the scenes that I was pointing it were the opening where Qi Lo and Ling met and a lot more I won't be a spoiler. It's unpredictable in some way, I kind of didn't know how the story will unfold and what is background of each character until it was revealed in the series itself. The topics touched in this series is a very complicated mix, highly dramatic from family problems to

This is basically my review from Dramacrazy, just edited (and extended LOL) slightly ^^

This drama is such a compelling watch. It delves into subjects such as mental illnesses, rape, and suicide, not usually shown in dramas. This drama pulls you in and makes you think about life and love. This is the story of Chen Ling (Vic Zhou) and Han Qi Luo (Barbie Xu). They meet and are instantly pulled towards each other, but before they can ever be together, they both must face their pasts.

I loved every piece of this drama. It was definitely one of the best I've seen in years. The depth with which character is played out really amazes me. They take a moment and bring it to a whole

  • The main characters are very similar; same bad boy lead and naive female lead; even as supporting role crazy fan girl of the male lead exists too.. If you like bad boys; you have to watch this! I absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoyed watching DBY. + the chemistry was just perfect btw leads

  • Both dramas handles serious issues such as rape and suicide. Both gave me the same kind of feeling but MARS is somehow deeper and has romance in it. LIFE on the other hand is a drama about bullying in school.

i would like a japanese remake actually, because koreans never make any heavy dramas ,japanese are more open minded,so they would do better job at it

actually i disagree they do you just haven't seen them yet they have made many dramas that are heavy dramas like "temptation of an angle" and movies like "The Crucible" (both were vary intense) but back to remake idea it actually doesn't matter who makes a remake as long as there is one i would be happy with either Japanese or Korean.

Yeah i discovered it as well a few month ago i can tell you that you won't be disappointed compared to the manga. Well the first thing is that you can actually compare it with the original piece (which isn't something that can be done easily with adaptations ^^"). It feels like you see exactly what your read. And they gave life to the characters choosing such good actors to interpret them. Well i truly loved it as much as i first read the manga hoping it will be your case too ^^

I fell in love with the song "Ling (Zero)" from the first second I heard it. Watched to ep 7, but the "noble idiot" virus seems to be a about the take over (guessing) and I'm not in the mood. I really like it though. It's dark and a bit different from what I've watched before.
