It started as a 3-on-3 basketball competition between two rival schools; an annual event in which the winner would control the 13th Street basketball court for the following year. To everybody's surprise, the 9-year reigning champion lost this year... and it was all because of one girl. Now, this game has a new purpose. Yi Sheng Xue (Hebe Tian), a hot-headed young girl, is an avid Bull Fighting fan. At her side is her loyal childhood friend and personal bodyguard, Jin Zi Cong (Lee Wei). Their lives take a drastic turn when they meet Shen Ruo He (Mike He), whom Sheng Xue falls deeply in love with. However, they encounter many obstacles that stand in the way of them being together. Will love triumph over evil? And will Zi Cong be able to live with seeing the woman he loves, love another man?

    I liked the story by itself a lot. I felt it dragged a little in some parts, though, and they did a lot of flashbacks throughout the episodes. Also, there were parts in the story that were a bit unrealistic. I felt that Hebe and Mike He had good chemistry, though, and they played their parts well. I only wish the characters would have had more romantic scenes in the show, but it was still good. I would have to say the soundtrack to this drama is one of my favorites so far, music by S.H.E and the instrumentals they played in the background were just great (: Overall, I would say this drama is worth watching! It's a cute love story.

    I've watched this drama around 5 times already, and I'm still not sick of it. With Mike He being my favourite t-actor, seeing him act with pretty Hebe is really a dream come true haha. With the unique storyline, proficient actors, soundtrack sung by S.H.E and the songs even topping Taiwan's charts, this drama is amazing and certainly not to be missed if you are a taiwan idol drama addict.

  • Both of them are related to basketball, both have romance and they are both worth watching. Even tough i enjoyed Bull fighting more, Buzzer Beat was really good too ^___^

    In the beginning I loved the drama but as it went on it really lost my interest. I love He Mike but, but I would have preferred to see Zi Cong win the battle for our leading lady's heart.

      You should have checked the spoiler option here, I know there are some people who haven't seen this drama yet and didn't know who'd end up with the girl in the end.

    I watched it for Mike He but I had trouble finishing this drama. The beginning of the series started out so strong but over time I found myself losing interest.
