Momo Chen is a quiet and shy girl with Jia Sen as her only friend. She is often forgotten and left behind. Her only interest is to read her manga, "Prince Kashaba." Mars is a superstar whose popularity went downhill after a series of negative publicity incidents. His finances, as a result, go into red alert and he is forced to move out of the company house provided to him and moves into a cheaper place instead. He is also told to attend school while on down time. On the first day of school for Mars, he arrogantly signs his name onto one of Momo's manga with a permanent marker over a picture of Prince Kashaba. Momo becomes furious and yells at him in front of everyone. Meanwhile, Mars' manager, Yi Zhi, finds him a room for rent in Momo's house. Momo is unaware that the room is being rented until her sister drops the news on her suddenly after school. Both are unaware that it is Mars who is to be their tenant. Mars gradually befriends Momo and her childhood friend Jia Sen, a swimming captain with the cognitive ability and maturity of an 8-year-old. Momo Chen describes him as "different from us" and "not silly or stupid". Jia Sen earns many medals for swimming and gives them to Momo because he secretly has feelings for her. He refers to Mars as "bad guy" and often gets upset when Momo hangs out with Mars. In the beginning Mars and Momo constantly fight but after going through some challenges together, they finally begin to show their feelings for one another. --Dramawiki

  This was the first Taiwanese drama I ever watched and I totally loved it and probably my favorite so far. Which is why I get confused sometimes at why some people seem to hate on it. Why...I'll never understand, because I went into this wanting a cute love story filled with adorable actors and something that would humor me...and it really did all of that.
  Some people are saying "oh it's bad acting." Really? Is it bad acting to be less serious and more silly? I don't think so.
  
  For a rom-com, I thought the acting was pretty well executed and I totally loved Jiro in this and can't really think of another actor that would replace him. I know Rainie Yang has a lot of haters as well, which for the life of me, I can't understand. Girls' got spunk. :) But her character in this drama is much more different than other roles she's played. This was my favorite role of hers! XD
  
  The story isn't anything new really, shy, introvert, nerdy type of girl catches the attention of the attractive, Mr.Popularity. But I tend to love these types of stories. So cliche I know, so sue me...:P
  
  Overall it is an adorable story that has just the right amount of romance, just enough comedy and just enough "seriousness" (as serious as you can get in a rom-com, I mean) that really makes the story worth watching. Plus, I totally adore Mars and Momo! They have such good chemistry in this drama, which was what really kept me going. I mean c'mon, even their NAMES sound good together. MarsxMomo~
  Love this couple and love this story. :DDD
  
  But PLEASE! If you're looking for something serious and dramatic (involving tears) this isn't the drama for you...however if you want something light, cute and sweet (with a bit of silliness) then look no further! :D read more

  WHAT HAPPENED JIRO????!!! Ahh man! This makes me sad. When I first read the synopsis for ToGetHer I was really excited to watch it. The storyline is great. Maybe it's just me, but I love those celebrity/normal person relationship dramas, so I was really looking forward to this drama. I was highly disappointed as the drama went on, not because of the story, but because of the acting. All I can say is WHAT HAPPENED??! Any Jiro fans would be really excited to see this, because of him. I absolutely LOVE him, but for some reason his placement in this drama was awkward. He's a great actor, but I don't think he fit for the role of Mars.I didn't see much chemestry bewteen the two leads either. Rainie's character had no personality, which was really annoying. Rainie's character was completely different from any of her other roles, so I was impressed at how broad her character development was. Rainie did great, but her character was highly lacking. She was too quiet, or didn't have enough emotion. I don't really remember the music, so I just gave it a 6. I figured it was pretty even, but I decided to be nice and give it a 6 instead of a 5. I'm not sure about rewatching. I mean, great storyline, but the acting wasn't the best :( Overall, I give this drama a 7. I love Jiro as an actor, so it was great to see him, and I felt that Rainie did a great job, but it's not really worth rewatching. :( read more
