[edit]Synopsis

Xiang (Shi-ang) Yu Ping, a divorce and inheritance lawyer, is seen by others as cold, selfish, and ruthless. He had taken in his brother's orphans and was in need of a nanny. But after he exhausted his supply of nannies, he still couldn't find one who doesn't fall in love with him or gets scared off by the kids. Fed up, Yu Ping asks his secretary, Yang Duo, to find a nanny that meets his requirements. She recommends her younger sister, Yang Guo, for the job; assuring Yu Ping that her tomboyish sister will not fall in love with him by lying that she does not like men at all.

I know some peeps might think 10 is just too much, but that's how I feel about this series. I love Ella and Jerry in this TW Drama.
The story line is just good, though sometimes I just want to kick the other girl's bum. And Jerry's friend I just want to kick him too for being an a$$. LOL...but they need to have a drama in it somewhere.
I love this Drama so much that I actually bought the DVD Box Set and re-watched it a millionth time!
One of the best TWDrama I ever seen, and believe me I've seen a lot.

I watched this because Jerry Yan was the only thing I liked about Hot Shot, so I wanted to see more of him, and because I really liked Ella in Hana Kimi. The show started out really cute and watching the relationships develop was fun, but about half way through everything just crashed. It became too love-triangly and melodramatic and I found myself really irritated with the secondary characters. If the second half were more up to snuff with the first, I would've really loved this series. Still, Jerry and Ella did a really good job, so it's worth watching once if you're fans of them.

  • In Down With Love, the lead girl pretends to be a lesbian in order to get a job as a nanny. In Personal Taste, the lead guy pretends to be gay in order to be the lead girl's roommate. Not surprisingly, these people fall in love.

  • The main character is the same. They tried to give her the same hairstyle, the same clothing. You also have the rich boss in love with a beautiful girl who is also in a relationship with the boss' sweet best friend who knows the secret of the main girl. The same drama...but VERY different.

I had to struggle with the first 5 episodes. They were Ok (enough to not drop it), but there were quite a few things that bothered me. 1. The facial expressions by Ella Chen. I felt they were too much and not cute. I don't think she's pretty(put away the pitchforks, it's just IMO)2. I did not like Jerry Yan. I've never seen him bfore, his face looks either way too skinny or he's had surgery. He looked kind of plastic to me. 3. The beginning of the romance from HIS side seemed forced and a bit fake.
After ep. 5 I WAS IN LOVE. I loved how different from the norm the story became. I liked how in this triangle the girl is really trying to work hard in THAT relationship. I LOVED how HIS love was steady and he never became a jerk. So, Overall it was very enjoyable. The ending was a bit boring and was just fine. This drama was enjoyable. I recommend it.

you should watch Jerry Yan in meteor garden, he was 10 years younger back then. I just started to watch this but I wish someone prettier to play the Yang Gue role

I have seen bits of it and I could not recognize him. He looks so different. I guess 10 years did make a difference in him. I became used to him after a while. I like his acting. Ella seems very popular, but she is not my type. I hope you enjoy this drama.

I like "cross-dressing" and ensuing comedy of errors but frankly, 1st shop of the coffee prince is a far better choice. Haven't seen personal preference but I really didn't like this one, though I find Ella Chen really likeable. And it was nice for a one-time watch but I would not return to it.

I like the face expressions and the acting was pretty great. Though I have to say the ending kinda of was disappointing for me. Could have did better, however overall a great show to watch!

This drama started out kind of cute, but it's utterly forgettable. I hardly remembered it from reading the synopsis over again. Besides having relatively well-known leads, there's nothing good about this drama
