"Love in Disguise" is the directorial debut of singer-songwriter Wang Lee Hom . The film is about superstar singer Du Minghan (Wang), who disguises himself as an undergraduate at a music conservatory so that he can pursue his schoolmate Song Xiaoqing (Liu Yifei), whom he has a crush on.

  1-The reason i watched this : I was looking for an idol movie and i found this accidently on some site and end up watching it.
  
  2-Storyline/Plot : Many would think that the story of an idol falling for a normal girl is so common but no this one is deffrent there was the soulmate through music and it was so unique how the plot was set up. OMG, the music was so cool : a combination between classical chinese music and the modern chinese pop , even though i don't focus on music specially chinese but the music was the core of this movie.
  
  3-Acting/Cast : Wang Leehom have done it all here : playing the dorkey, the famous, the smart, the dumb; he have done a great job plus the lead actress have succeeded in playing the innocent simple character; yeah the casting was great and the acting was nice.
  
  4-The ending : A typical rom-com ending but i specifically liked the last scene; it was cool.
  
  5-How did it affect me : I didn't have expectations for this movie when i started watching it but i was surprised how things went on and i was literally blown by the music i never thought it could have been that great : It was so cool to watch.
  
  6-Overall : If u're rom-com type u need to watch this
  If u like idol movies u need to watch this
  If u like classical or modern music u need to watch this
  If u like fate/soulmate issues u need to watch this

  I really thought this movie was cute & sweet. I loved the idea of a soulmate through music. The acting was not like amazing but the actors conveyed the emotions of the characters well. The story was very uplifting & joyful. I really enjoyed it & will watch it again b/c it made me feel happiness.

  Both are about music and two people falling in love. Plus both actors and actress play the same insturment and combine traditional chinese music with modern music.
