From all the e-sports drama that I've watched, this drama's second couple makes me stressed because they keep quarreling and fighting. Although I understand that they both have horrendous pasts and it's hard to face them but they keep running away whenever they encounter a scene or remember something about it. Aside from the second couple, the first couple also barely kisses, I don't know if it's really how the script is written or the actors request about it but sometimes while watching their scenes, it makes me think if they're communicating as strangers or they're communicating as a couple. However, I am still unsure if I will drop this or not but in the meantime I won't.

wholesome romance - but disappointing in the mental health aspect

The storyline of having PTSD as an athlete (that is not related to the sport) and receiving long-term therapy could have meant that we’d see an emotional, heartfelt and inspiring story. - but ultimately it was just another generic childhood-friends, sports rom-com that completely failed to tell a meaningful story due to it’s lack of research done, generic script and casting the wrong people.

The leading actors are well established in the romcom field but neither are able to pull off the mental illness side convincingly enough. It just seemed like they were acting according to certain tropes (aloof ML, sweet FL) and selling it as something deeper. Having seen both of them in other dramas before, I was disappointed to see that their performance was exactly the same and there no additional depth added, which was needed to make it believable that they’re actually having PTSD that affects their daily life.
The romance was sweet and very innocent. I‘d say they were a very wholesome couple.

As a youth sports romance it’s not bad at all ~ especially the second lead couple was entertaining however I came for the promised mental health aspect and in that regard it was a complete lackluster.

Also for some reason the FL pissed me off the more I watched. She seemed too good/gullible to be real. She was clearly written as a saint, that is sweet, cute and supportive but doesn’t have much of her own personality or flaws.

However the biggest pet peeve was the depiction of the therapist. Extremely unprofessional, doesn’t have any boundaries with her clients and breaks many ethical rules - like telling the FL all about MLs struggles and things he told her within treatment. She seemed more like a friend to the FL, as she called her all the time discussing ML and it was clear they wanted to sell a more light hearted, friendly version of what’s it like to go to therapy.

Can’t even be fully mad tho since it’s obvious the production & screen writers just have no idea what a therapist really is and does.

I also found the last 10 episodes very boring, as it’s just couples being couples. Not a single unique scene we haven’t seen in at least twenty other Chinese youth romance dramas.

… this may seem like a rant but it’s just what I didn’t like about the drama.
It wasn’t horrible - I actually enjoyed it at times and it didn’t have any major flaws or issues but aside from the second lead couple it was underwhelming to me.

Ok many showed so many hate against the main leads but compared to thier past works thier acting really improved like frr!! The emotional parts were well done im ngl on that one.
The plot was the usual one so it was easily predictable and yes they could have done this with 28 or 30 eps and I felt like they were extending it too much with unnecessary side characters.

I really appreciate the 2nd main couples cause thier story was ✨✨✨✨ thier part was enjoyable but since everyone appreciates only them I had to point out the hardwork our main leads put in

All the reviews i saw had like the main leads were not enjoyable and not worth seeing thier story but i feel like both of them improved a very lot and the emotional scenes i cried seeing how much fei changed here, her matured way of acting and the way she handled the emotional parts ✨ and for hu he had the same character of a cold guy at the beginning but after that it was seriously heartwarming ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

COULD HAVE MADE THE STORY LINE A LITTLE DIFFERENT AND LESS PREDICTABLE!

It was easy to guess what was gonna happen apart from the actors acting the flaw was in the plot line. Maybe to extend the eps idk but the side villainous character was un needed or atleast they should have ended her part on those eps itself.

But since this is an usual trope what can we expect from the writers the same old thing

And the trauma accident was actually something most people didnt understand he forgot everything and only she can help him remember and as for the fl she development fear due to the assault and it is related with the ml so her being with him will help her recover and that was the reason why the doc told them to live together everyone misunderstood this ??

The ost loved it ✨
Actors acting was ✨✨?
Plot line not bad but not good ?
Rewatch - its 50-50 all the fluff scenes are worth the watch but the whole series again is idk depending about the mood

Unrealistic and a complete waste of time

I basically had to create an account because I wanted to pen down my thoughts. I’ve been seeing Hello sharpshooter everywhere so I had great expectations for it; especially because I just finished watching miss crow and mr lizard. It was such a total disappointment!

Honestly Hui Yuitan is such an handsome actor but I’ve never completed any of his dramas because his characters always feels plain, forced and unrealistic. It’s basically like trying to make sense out of nonsense. He’s always so stiff, bony and bland. I’ve never liked any of his characters and this drama was no different. A love so beautiful might have been manageable but not go go squid.

I pick up the drama and the ml suddenly isn’t focused on his game at the appearance of the fl…next thing the girl is affecting him mentally, I’m told he can’t remember his past, and suddenly he’s liking her. All in the space of five episodes and the drama is 40 episodes long! Do the writer think it’s kids that are watching the show. I was very pissed because I had downloaded 20 episodes and didn’t want to waste my data so I kept pushing through but felt stupid the more I went forward. The foundation of their relationship is totally unrealistic as everything seems rushed but slow at the same time. You’ll have to watch it to understand my point of view. I get they’re trying to portray him as someone without much social life but I’ve seen better from other dramas.

The fl character too is just annoying. Well maybe they had a past and she’s still attracted to him after all these while but they didn’t have to make her character dumb, always staring at him and acting awkward. There’s zero chemistry for me and right from the start I knew the drama was a big no. I don’t know what the doctor is trying to heal in the fl and next scene the ml suddenly agrees to move in with her. What’s shocking more is how he basically went from dislike in the first episode to interested in the next and I’m telling you the change was so basic and blahhhh

My review probably seems all over the place but that’s literally how the drama is. Wasting time from the beginning and it’s going to 40 episodes come on!

What exactly were you people watching and praising that I’m not seeing? Reminds me of once we get married another rubbish drama but I’ll review that one separately.

Pls refrain from hyping rubbish and deceiving people to watching it. Be honest with yourself because some of your reviews can go a long way. I can’t imagine having a bad day and coming to watch this drama… my anger would be so justified.
Xin fei has done better dramas than this so I know she’s a great actress so I can’t blame her character but she could have chosen better.

If you’re looking for dramas with good plots and cool relationship foundations, consider put your head on my shoulder, perfect and casual, falling into your smile, unforgettable love, love is sweet, you’re my glory and a lot others

But if you want to doubt your sanity and want an anyhow plot with zero flow, then you can watch this drama. But note you must have a lot of time on your hand.

No hate intended just frustration…

I consider myself a newbie in Cdrama since I started watching them just only a little over 6 months ago when browsing Netflix collection in my region. Got hooked after 2-3 series of the Cdrama section—the traditional costume ones. Then, tried a few modern-day dramas, and even became a paying subscriber to WeTV & iQIYI to watch larger series collections, including this one.

To be brutally honest, most of that modern rom-com Cdrama is a mostly senseless storyline. Watching them is like an insult to my intelligence. I couldn't understand the logical thought and acts of the characters (main & supporting roles).

I have a hard time convincing myself when starting a new series that this one has a good review, but again and again, the MC is just a thoughtless female, borderline to idiotic human species.

Would it be too much to expect normal, honest, real-living characters in Cdrama's modern rom-com?
Or, is it a true portrayal of real dating life in mainland China?
Even though I read review that this is a happy ending series, I just feel sad to imagine such a person exists on this planet.

Can't recommend such a series, unless you throw away your logic when watching this, or you just want to enjoy looking at your idols.

Rape Awareness

I really absolutely like this drama! Hu Yi Tian did a wonderful job portraying Shen Qing Juan. He was brilliant in the part he had playing a character who had a mental disorder. I applaud him. Hu Yi Tian (I love his name) stands at 6.2 ft ., wow, he had to play basketball. Looking at the height of Xing Fei who stands at 5.5 Ft., wow what a difference. Her head came to his chest. Dang, I would be a child standing next to him. Xing Fei did extremely well being almost a foot shorter than her lead actor. So cute. Xing Fei was born in Mongolia where my ancestors began, I was happy about that. This story hits home with me as a kidnap and rape survivor. I am so happy that they brought awareness of Rape to the forefront of this drama. I was a little perturbed when they did not show the outcome of a serial rapist. The visuals were perfect. I am thanking all the support actors/actresses because without them the story wouldn't be complete. oh yes, I have to see more Hu Yi Tian... he is so handsome and a brilliant actor.

I am trying to finish this bad Series. Too much time spent will they or or won't they.

I really am hoping this gets better. Like most Chinese romantic dramas they have the rich male who can do anything and nothing happens to him. They have the mumbling, weak minded, you can do anything to me, low esteem, and pat me on the head like pet when they meet the guy they like, female. They have the oops I tripped and landed on you, let me stare in your eyes or kiss you scene.

Hey Writers and Producers, do you know you can have a nice Romantic Drama, where women are portrayed in a positive light? I just had to put that out there. Here's another thing : The rich male doesn't always have to when and they need their ass whipped every now and then

16 episodes in and it isn't getting any better. The will they or will they not get together is long and drawn out. There isn't any chemistry between Tang Xin and Shen Qing Yuan, it isn't believable that they are in love. Tang allows Shen to jerk her around with nothing said. Then again that is typical in Chinese romantic dramas. Du Ling Feng is a rich brat and he is use to getting his way. The strongest minded person in this series Shi Xiao Ci. Shen Qing Yuan jealousy is over the top borderline obsessives.

I feel this story line should of been only 25 -30 episodes. These will she or won't she episodes are a waste of time. Moving in with him early on and those two playing these games is a waste of time. All you is BLAH BLAH BLAH do you love me ? or Blah Blah Blah I love you ..... but. Ep 19 was a total waste. His jealousy is over the top. I bet he followers her to the bathroom. He can't even see that see is trying to work things out in her mind. She has no room to breath. Tang Xin is an enabler and has low self esteem. She is so smitten that she can't see that he is controlling her. In real life a person that jealous, obsessed and possessive never works out; it's what causes domestic violence to happen.

Ep 22 -25, 29,30 were most interesting yet.

I have to asked this: In whose world does a woman moves in with a guy that told her to stay away from them? I liked Xing Fei in "My little Happiness" her role was positive: In this one she's the weak minded, mumbling, low esteem, smitten lady. You can see that the target audience is 18-25 year old, because most but not all of them don't know better. They look at how cute or how handsome they are. Do they look good together. They don't look at context or contents.

The best part of this Series was the last Episodes 22-25,29,30 and 38-40. Most of the Series dragged on. This Series would of been better if only they made 20-25 Episodes. Most of the Series was a when they are going to get together. They went way overboard in trying the chemistry to work.

The Series is good to watch for the first time, but again to watch it ... No thank you.

Frustrating

This drama rubbed me the wrong way from the start.

Firstly the ML is played by the Steven Seagal of Chinese actors. I have now watched at least 3 dramas with him in it and he plays the same role in every story. He doesn't act, he just does a stony, unemotional and uninterested expression the whole time. I don't know if he is considered attractive and that's why people don't complain.

Ignoring the person opposite you isn't really acting.

Then, my next pet peeve. The clingy, desperate and no-self-respect FL.

The ML is openly hostile and rude to her and she just keeps crawling back. You know those blow-up toys that you punch and they just come back up again? That's a perfect description of the FL.

If a man says you should go away from him and he doesn't want to ever see you again, you don't go back to him smiling. You shake the dust from your feet and go live an amazing life without him.

I don't know if I'll give this another chance in the future, but seeing as I've watched the exact same ML in two other stories, I don't think I will.

Nothing Special..typical storyline..Only watched for both Main Leads..

I was waiting for this since 2020..when the shooting began.. Finally on 2022 i am watching this..
I had a little more hope about the storyline.. Bcoz the cast is super amazing.. My both fav from PYHOMS and ALSB.. As a cdrama fan.. I had more expectations.. But it didn’t work like that... Storyline will make u feel like u missed many parts amd started watching without knowing many details... But its actually not that...?
I think they could made the story better..!
Its sweet... Cute.. But So Typical...
Feels like they didn’t even add any climax either.. Even Their house feels quite same like the house from PYHOMS.. Sometimes i get the vibes of linyi in Hu yitian performance...
But its good.. Watchable indeed..
Must give it a try if u love The Cast like me..

Love u fair xing & Hu yitian... ❤️

Episodio 3

Me apaixonei!!
