This episode made me realise and remember that it's not fully Kang Jo's fault Khitan waged a war on Goryeo. Yelü Longxu has always wanted to conquer Goryeo and he will use any means to takeover Goryeo. Using Kang Jo's treason against the previous King as a justification to start a war is such a slick move from Yelü Longxu. Kang Jo should've predicted it like Gamchan did. The King made an effort to gain Kang Jo's trust and promised to clear his name. I don't know how he's going to avenge his cousin's death if he's going to strip the traitor label out of Kang Jo. Once Kang Jo's name is cleared of the treason he committed, there will be no reason for the King to give him the death penalty.
