Song Kyung Il, known as 1iL, is a South Korean model, singer, dancer, producer and former member of HISTORY. Before debuting, he was a trainee for 3 years and also worked as a model. He also appeared as the main dancer in IU's MVs for the songs ''Beautiful Dancer'' and ''Cruel Fairy Tale'' and for Fiestar's debut song ''Vista''. He made his debut in 2013 as the group's leader, rapper, main dancer and sub-vocalist with their single album "Dreamer" featuring narration of fellow labelmate IU. However, after several music releases and comebacks, LOEN Entertainment began analyzing if the group was worth keeping together. He enlisted for his mandatory military service as a conscripted police officer in November 2016 and was discharged in mid-2018. In 2017, with most of the members already enlisted or about to do so, the agency announced the group will be disbanding and each member will focus on individual activities. He is part of the group of friends Nuthang/New-Thang, together with G-Dragon and T.O.P from Big Bang and other celebrities. In 2020, he made his solo debut with the single "Kurt Coba1il" and began using 1iL as his stage name. He has also helped write, compose and/or arrange Super Junior D&E's single "Home" and Donghae's "Blue Moon".
