Choi Min Yong

He made his debut in 1996 as part of KBS's "New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know" but became a well-known figure after his roles in "Nonstop Season 3" in 2002 and in "Unstoppable High Kick" in 2006. However, he became involved in several controversies during these years. In 2004, he signed an exclusive contract with a agency but he unilaterally cancelled the contract. The company sued him in late 2005 and won, so he was fined 20 million Won. In fact, several of his paychecks during his appearance on "Unstoppable High Kick" were seized to fulfill his debts.
In 2007, after his appearance in the drama "Finding Love", he became involved in another labor-related controversy with his new agency and he had very few appearances for the next 10 years as he was allegedly blocked from working by the agency's CEO. In 2016, he reappeared in an episode of "King of Mask Singer" where he tearfully announced his return to the entertainment industry. He shifted his career to more variety shows and in 2019 became a regular on "Flaming Youth" even winning the Male Rookie Award at the 2019 SBS Entertainment Awards.
