Graduated from Osaka University of Arts, Department of Visual Concept Planning. He started making independent films while in school and participated in movies and dramas as an assistant director. In 2013, he won international awards, including the Los Angeles Movie Awards and the Newport International Film Festival, for his Walker Lukens "Dear Someone" music video produced in New York.
