It was alright.

I’m not going to lie I was very confused in the beginning, I wasn’t sure which character was which but after a few scenes I was able to figure it out.

The pacing is very fast and the relationship between Chisoo and Gitae is very, very rushed. The transition between scenes could have been smoother and less jarring.

The acting was alright, it wasn’t my favorite by any means but it wasn’t terrible either. Though the first spicy scene did make me laugh from how realistic and awkward it was. I will say I did enjoy the relationship between Chisoo and Gitae. I wouldn't say I loved them because I didn't. Their relationship felt too fast for me to ship them wholeheartedly.

With how fast the pacing is and how short the episodes are you don’t really know enough about their backstories to understand certain things, at least I didn’t; for example Chisoo’s nightmare where he woke up screaming left me a bit confused. And the ending is very open ended you can decide what happens next yourself.

A fan serviced season.

I love how protective Kuea’s friends are of him and his and Lian’s relationship. First it was Syn in the first season now It’s Nuer. I’m enjoying seeing more of Syn and Nuer and Kondiao and Yi. I also love the way the first episode was structured.

This was a complete fan serve second season and I love that. The 4 episodes had enough drama to keep it interesting without overdoing it and making it seem unnecessary. I’ve grown to really love Kuea and Lian’s relationship.

The acting was good, I really enjoyed it and Foei continued to make me laugh. I could not stop smiling during episode 4.

A beautiful, sweet series to watch with a nice plot and great acting.

I loved the cinematography and the way Between Us was shot, was beautiful. The sound effects added for comedic purposes were hilarious and never failed to make me laugh. The acting is amazing, everyone did a fantastic job and we get to see more of the characters, learn more about their backstory and see more of their relationship in Between Us.

I loved watching the love story of Win and Team unfold as well as the other side ships. I enjoyed seeing how the other characters got their own happy ending and they weren't just there for the main characters to interact with; they had substance and a purpose.

The plot point of grief really got me. It starts subtle and then when you learn more about what happened and how it effected Team into his adult years. You realize how much grief can affect you in many different ways.

Using a stick to hit a metal chain and expecting it to work is dumb.

The female lead annoyed me in the beginning, why are you screaming and drawing attention to yourself? Also why tf are you hitting a metal chain and lock that is looped around a door, with a stick to break it? What is that going to do?!

I thought once you got bit that was it, the vaccine couldn’t help you, yet Rider 50 was bitten and his bracelet showed green? Also how are you gonna take a van and not even check to make sure it’s safe? Really?

Fah’s reaction after seeing her supposedly dead boyfriend after 5 years is so lackluster is unbelievable. Also her reaction to him being the package/the cure and him not remembering anything about her or himself is, honestly, terrible.

I do love the trope of “a person is bitten but doesn’t turn and they turn out to be the cure/savior”.

I also wished it went into more detail about the plant they eat, because that is something I’ve never seen before in a zombie movie (and trust me, I’ve seen just about every zombie movie ever made) and its a really unique and amazing concept.

Not the best zombie movie but not the worst I've ever seen....It is up there though..

I feel a bit cheated

I enjoyed this series to an extent, I do feel we were cheated on many things with this series. The main ones (for me) being 1. Jade and Mai don't get together until the very last episode. That means everything between them and after they got together etc living together, meeting the parents etc was rushed extremely and not in a good way in my opinion. The 2nd thing I feel cheated about was the scene of Uea and King in the intro, we never got that scene! I understand this wasn't their series but why put that scene in and get people excited if you're not going to do it?!

I liked Jade in Bed Friends and I was excited to see his story unfold but I also won’t lie and say that, 90% of the reason I even watching this, was for the Uea and King content I’ve dearly missed. Bed Friends was the second BL I’ve ever watched so the characters hold a special place in my heart.

I feel like the humor was too much at times, the whole series is basically a bad rom-com which focuses on the comedic aspects of it more than anything. Multiple times throughout the series I paused and wondered, “Wtf am I watching.” Sometimes the humor made up for that feeling but when you have to ask yourself multiple times, what am I watching?, then something might need to change.

I did love the little callbacks from Bed Friends, especially between King and Uea, but I also was disappointed by them as well because, did King propose to Uea at the end of Bed Friend? Cause I specifically remember a proposal but it is never once mentioned in this series, they don't even refer to each other as fiancé, just boyfriends.

And why tf did Jade get sick when Mai took his shirt off?! WTF Some of the choices made were just ridiculous.

Jade is the definition of oblivious cinnamon roll who is blind with and without his glasses. And, while I like that to an extent, they really overplayed it. And that whole fight/argument between King and Uea made no sense to me, it was just added so that all the couples of the show were having issues at the same time. I also didn't like how the first spicy scene we get isn’t between the main couple but the 3rd side characters. Don’t get me wrong it was steamy but, what was the point in waiting til the very last episode for Mai and Jade to get together? Plus, maybe this was just me but Jade and Mai's steamy scenes were kinda odd.

Overall I really don't think Middleman's Love did Yim and Tutor justice. They are talented and have such good chemistry together I hope we get a chance to seem them in something better.

Nong was the star of the show.

I am so happy Max and Nat got their own series, these two have amazing chemistry and I loved watching the relationship between Kon Diao and Yi in Cutie Pie so I'm happy they got their own series.

Like it predecessor Cutie Pie, Naughty Babe is keeping with the humor and comedic moments which I very much enjoy. You get to learn more about Kon Diao and Yi's past and the reason behind some of Yi's choices and actions in Cutie Pie.

I found it hilarious the archenemies Yi got as the episodes went on. In Yi's mind, that dog really was out to get him 😂.

I enjoyed the family dynamic in Naughty Babe and I especially adore Makorn and his obvious love and favoritism towards Kon Diao. I love how the show made it perfectly clear, as did Makorn a few times throughout the show, that he was Team Kon Diao and Yi better wisen up or else. Diao really developed from the character you're first introduced to in Cutie Pie, now he doesn't take any of Yi's crap and is even seen getting revenge against him. It was very amusing to watch Kon Diao's revenges.

I absolutely hate Kon Diao's family. How someone as sweet, caring and kinda naïve as Diao can come from a crook/conman like Sattha is just amazing to me.

The whole amnesia storyline was both good and bad. It helped the plot progress but it also got a little old as well. I didn't particularly like Yi lying to Diao about his amnesia but I understood the reasons for it. The romantic moments between Kon Diao and Yi are stunning to watch. Max and Nat did an incredible job showing the love these two characters feel for each other. Amazing acting from them both.

Yi accepting that his dad loves and adores Kon Diao as the son he never had is just hilarious to me.

The chase scene and that whole plan, while I understood why it was happening was odd and the whole re-proposal thing was just confusing and while it was sweet was kinda a little pointless. Maybe I just missed the mark on what it was about/meant.

And Nong strikes again turning father against his son and I don’t mean Kon Diao!! I died laughing at that whole exchange between Makorn and Diao. Nong really is Yi’s archnemisis. I love the teasing relationship they all have in this scene.

I still hate Kon Diao’s dad but I did really like how he had his chance to make amends with Dio and realize what he was actually doing to his son and hopefully change for the better. I thought the moment between them during the wedding was sweet.

Overall the acting was amazing Nat and Max really shined in this series. The plot was okay, a little boring in places but overall very enjoyable, the music was sweet and fit the scenes.

I had some issues in the beginning but the ending was magnificent.

Plot:
I had some issues with the beginning right off the bat. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Lian as he seemed really indifferent to Kuea and he acted a bit like an ass. The dates he took him on were more like scripted outings than dates. I also didn’t care for how Kuea hid his true self for so long. I understand his fear of showing his true self only to get rejected, but he still shouldn’t have played a caricature of himself. A couple episodes deep into the show and you start to see the characters dynamics. I started to enjoy and like Lian and Kuea’s relationship.

Do I think Lian and Kuea could have gone about things a lot differently? Oh, my definitely. But every show needs its drama. I don’t like how many secrets they keep from each other though. I loved the friendships between Kuea and his school friends and his relationship with Kondiao. Plus Yi and Lian's friendship. The side relationship were some of my favorites I absolutely adore Syn and Nuer and their first kiss was PERFECT, no matter how cheesy and cliché it might have been. I also really liked watching Hia Yi catch feelings for Kondiao and seeing their relationship and dynamic change and shift as the show went on. Dear God, that proposal scene gave me the WORST case of second hand embarrassment I’ve ever had. The fact it was at his dad’s birthday party and in front of a ton of people is.. it’s a no for me. It was made even worse when Kuea said no! Now, do I think Kuea was wrong for rejecting Lian’s proposal? No, I don’t. I think he did the right thing at the right time. Was it extremely embarrassing? Absolutely, but it was also a little stupid on Lian’s part as well. Who proposes at an important event right after a fight where all of Lian’s secrets about Kuea’s family and his properties come out? I absolutely adored the last episode, it was equal parts sweet, cute, funny and just plan adorable. The fact that Lian was sabotaging Kuea’s proposals just so he could propose again was hilarious and really sweet. Although I think Kuea’s proposal won.

Music:
I thin the songs sung by NuNew were amazing and fit the story and the scene they were in but they were a bit overused i my opinion.

Acting:
The acting is some of the best things about this show. NuNew and Zee did a fantastic job. Their acting really showed in the second to last episode. They both deserved awards for that performance. The background/side actors did a great job as well. You can really tell everyone had amazing chemistry with each other, especially NuNew and Zee, Nat and Max, and Yim and Tutor.

Random notes:
I think Foei and Yi's secretary are the funniest characters in the show.
Not Yi immediately regretting getting Nong for 4 episodes straight.
I love Lian's parents (especially in the last episode) and Kuea's mom.

An outstanding show

Well, I didn't expect to cry every single episode but I did. The raw emotion the actors are able to project with just a look or their body language is stunning and shows what raw talent this whole cast has. The acting was some of the best I've seen in my limited number of BL's watched, but still amazing.

The friendships in this show were some of my favorite things about it. The relationship between Manow, Team, and Pharm is so wholesome and it feels like the characters have known each other for years instead of months.

I got invested in the side characters almost as much as I was invested in Dean and Pharm, especially Team and Win. I can't wait to watch their series next.

I think the ending felt a little rushed in my opinion. I think one more episode would have helped with the pacing of the show, but everything was wrapped up nicely and I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

I will definitely be following all the actors in this show throughout they're careers, they are a very talented bunch.
