Illogical Plot

The OST of Miss the Dragon was good. However, the production crew didn't think things thoroughly. For example, in the first episode, there is a character on the carriage, 夏 (Xià). This means the carriage belongs to the 夏 (Xià) family. However, the lady in the carriage's last name is 夏侯 (Xiàhóu). In the same scene, the maid gives away food without asking for her lady's permission. In the first few minutes, they already manage to mess up multiple times. The villain of the story didn't really do much, and the script is illogical. I don't even know why I watched until the end because if you love happy endings, you will be disappointed. If you are here for Dylan Wang, I would suggest you watch something else because this is not his best work.

Would watch again

The drama combines two popular concepts, fighting against fate and a character in a story finding out they are a character in a story. In the beginning, the episodes made sense, were interesting to watch, and set up the story and world well. You are introduced to Dan Oh, who is determined to change her fate because she is very sick. However, Dan Oh becomes focused on being with Haru, and the later episodes are somewhat repetitive. I felt like the ending wasn’t up to par with the first few episodes because the quality decreased significantly as the drama progressed. The ending wasn’t satisfactory, and there are a lot of plot holes. One is the biggest mysteries is whether Haru is homeless or not because he sleeps in the school. We never get to know more about the author of the story and how the scenes that Dan Oh changed affected them.

What I liked:
- The OST (Skz & April)
- Bark Kyung’s character development
- Acting

What I didn’t like:
- The character relationships had potential, but it was a little wasted
- Important characters that we know nothing about (Haru)
- Turns into your typical romance story with a high school girl infatuated with a guy and prioritizing him over her own life
- Ending
- Plotholes

Overall, I loved the actors, so I would watch it again. However, don’t be too sad when you watch it and the plot isn’t as interesting as the synopsis. If you love typical kdrama romances, this is for you. If you want some romance with more depth, you might not enjoy this drama as much as me.

Decent but Amazing OST

The show was long with 63 episodes, which may be boring for some people. I think the casting was pretty good, but the script was a bit lacking. The OST was AMAZING. However, one thing I disliked was the fact that Jin Mi always needed saving. It was like she couldn't do anything that didn't involve one of the love interests or some supporting character helping her. The ending does make this better, and you will need a lot of tissues to watch this.
