Nao's father is a doll maker and wants her to inherit his business. Nao wants to be an actress. She moves to Tokyo, but can't get her big break. She falls into debt and tries to survive by working as a hostess at a night club. Out of desperation, she does something to make extra money. It is something that her boyfriend must never know. One day, her senile grandfather suddenly appears in Tokyo. He's the only family member who supported her dream, but now he doesn't even recognize her.
