Bi Yu spends the next few days happily with Yan Mei, making her realize that Yan Mei reciprocates her feelings. Still, Ling Jie eventually hears that Bi Yu has been hanging out with a male friend on the deck, and he arrives there just in time to see Yan Mei about to confess his feelings towards Bi Yu. Enraged, Ling Jie punches Yan Mei on the face and warns him to stay away from his fiancee. As Yan Mei leaves tearfully, Ling Jie confronts Bi Yu, demanding to know how he is inferior to Yan Mei.
