Both School 2017 and Age of Youth deal with one core theme, youth. Even though they portray the struggles of youth at different times in an individual's life, they both still tackle the same problems such as identity, self-confidence, individual future, and friendship. Both include a diverse set of characters who bring their own problems, personality and affiliations that coincide and sometimes comes into conflict with others. If you're a fan of a immersive cast dealing with the struggles of youth, then look no further

Both dramas center around college students and college life and both dramas have a storyline involving people living together as housemates. Although Age of Youth has more drama and conflict, both dramas are very slice of life and the romances are similar.

If you enjoyed the slice of life feel that Age of Youth offered then Dear My Friends is a perfect follow up for it. I would say the obvious difference would be their age, otherwise both dramas have a strong emphasis on friendship and sisterhood, coming of age for the younger set and coming to terms with their age for the older women. Their stories and their feelings are so relatable.

Both these dramas take place in a college setting.

We get to see characters with their personnal struggles but also their daily college life and how they form friendships with the other characters of the drama.

In these dramas, we get to see people struggling financially, socially or emotionally.

The main difference is that Age of Youth is centered on a female cast who are roommates while ADSG's is centered on both men and women who are in the same department and meet in college.

Both are great dramas dealing with some troubled teens getting along with each other in a new environment (roommates in Age of Youth, cellmates in Lipstick).

In both drama , the characters have their own secrets and problems
slowly revealed throughout the drama.

and not to forget there is fighting between the girls sometimes.
and their care for each other is really great that makes you engulfed in the drama.
