Kanzo stabs Ryo, causing him to miss his date with Yuko. Ryo doesn't report the stabbing and Kanzo goes to work expecting them to be aware of it. He gets in between Yuko and Ryo trying to force Yuko to continue dating Kasaki, and force Ryo out of the picture. Being the nice guy that he is, Kasaki realizes Yuko will never go for him as she would Ryo, and convinces her to go to him. The two finally connect, and the following day Ryo decides to take a trip down memory lane and revisits his old home, the home in his flashbacks.

I didn't expect that one!

While I had a feeling that Kanzo was connected to Ryo, I really thought it had more to do with the fire incident that caused Ryo and Yuko's burn marks (that is still unknown to us, the audience), and not because of the fact that Kanzo was the one who shot Ryo's father when he was only five years old.

Loose ties are starting to connect to each other, as it was mentioned earlier on how Kanzo had once killed someone on his first day in the force. Things are starting to get a little crazy, and I'm starting to wonder about Kanzo's character. He has a need to protect people, yes, but he has a dark side, just like Ryo. He wants Yuko to stay away from him, but the truth is, he's not really any better of a person, at least not as he's shown himself in these recent episodes.

The darkness that's supposed to describe this show is starting to come around full circle. While Yuko and Ryo finally give in to their feelings for each other, everything else is starting to come apart.

Masaka!

Woah, the last minutes left me speechless! So the only person that kanzo killed was actually Ryo's father? Who would've thought that can happen, What a twist! Now, that Ryo decided to find out the truth about his past, he regained the memories of Kanzo killing his father but what does Yuko has to do with all of this, with that burn mark and all?

Just when Yuko and Ryo got together, things became ugly, not that I mind that because I want to see how will thing will develop from now on!
