Hate to Love couple
Bickering couple
Optimistic, bright female lead
Sort of narcissistic prodigy male lead
Similar comedy
Parody of romance tropes
Male lead falls in love first thinking that the female lead liked him due to narcissism

Both are about a modern day FL entering a fictional historical story where she becomes increasingly involved with the villain, derailing the original plot.

In a society where women make decisions and men play a secondary role...................................

Dramas have similar vibe and ending. FL travels from modern time to alternate historical dimension where she is trapped and must achieve certain objectives to return home. She doesn’t expect to fall in love along the way but once she does it changes everything…

Both are dramas with a modern day FL who becomes a character in a historical novel. Both couples hate each other at first.

Both FLs are writers/screenwriters who enter their own novel where they are an unfortunate character.

Though it is not demon and immortal storyline, The Romance of Tiger and Rose is also funny from the start till the end with such a simple story. If you are looking for a crack with good acting, you should try this

FL writes a story that comes to life, falls in love with the main male character of her story.

Similar genres: Reverse Harem and both male leads and female leads had their hidden agenda as compared to how they behave themselves on the surface.

While Ashes of Love is more drama-driven and The Romance of the Tiger and Rose is more comedy-driven, there are several overlapping tropes from one story to the other.

1. silly, childlike FL with no experience with love

2. super-in-love ML who gets a dark side in the last arc of the drama

3. second FL who's determined to get the ML and is willing to overthrow stuff to attain her goals

4. Silly supporting cast: The moon god and the water snake in Ashes of Love remind me of the ML and FL's attendants in Tiger and Rose

5. Sacrifice for your loved one (this is pretty huge, here- both ML's do *spoiler alert* end up stabbed because someone's overthrowing the government)

I know the tones are different, but the story line is similar, and the core values seem aligned! Highly recommend both

Both are dramas with a real world FL entering the fictional world of a novel and falling in love with the villain.

Same male lead.

Bubbly female lead

Female lead gets stuck in the world of the a novel. To return to the real world, she must complete the key mission assigned by the system.
