Why did I sit through this?
If not for grandma and the female lead I would have ditched this 2 shows in. Awful story and all the male actors were TERRIBLE. Is it possible to find 3 worse male leads than this? I don't think so. Do women really like men like Kang Jae, clingy, whiney and unattractive? I tried to hang in to the end because I like the previous works of Im Soo--hyang (FL) (My Id is Gangnam Beauty, Graceful Family and the ongoing Doctor Lawyer and I actually looked forward to this drama because of her but...I found myself fast forwarding thru most of the show and really looking forward to the end, as dismal as it was.Was this review helpful to you?
A drama about a writer that was way better than this script
Do not know or care about the original storyCould not like any characters! (Maybe the grandmother was ok…).
STORY – awful, with lots of plot holes that I do not think it is due to the length of the drama. I kept putting 2x the speed because I did not have higher speed to add.
Nothing in the story makes sense. Maybe just the love from a mother towards her baby, even gotten pregnant as she did. Her choices, her boomerang love, etc… I think Oh Woo Ri is the less interesting female character I have seen…
ACTING / CAST – nothing interesting here. Maybe Lee Ma Ri / Lee Mal Ja and her inner fight.
Woo Ri – cannot think of any positive thing rather than her beauty.
Raphael – a crybaby, a man that disappear as an individual to take care of a baby that has only his genetic DNA. For someone that faced death, I think he did not realised that his neurons really died. Not interesting or charming.
Lee Kang Jae – the worst lead detective I ever saw. Incompetent, liar, soft, etc. Do not understand this person. The way that he interact with Woo Ri or Raphael is so bad.
Oh Eun Ran – had a child, lying to everyone, including the man that loved her totally and did not know he was a father. Wanted to be a singer.
The rest is also bad. The criminals or villains were so bad! President Kim, please return! You should have killed this script!!
MUSIC – different from the silence.
REWATCH – only if my life depended on it. Maybe the dozens or hundreds of episodes from the telenovela from Venezuela would be better!!
OVERALL – I wasted time watching this. The premise had me curious, but sometimes the best ideas of a drama comes in the synopsis, where imagination runs wild!

The worst kdrama and the worst ending you could ever watch
This is the worst drama ever, it is wasting of time , don't watch it. I don't know the an ending could be this bad... it is really disappointing , the drama not written in a smart way , all the drama they take you to one direction and last 5 minutes of the drama they give you a different direction this is so unprofessional and dummy ... . ..... .Was this review helpful to you?

So this was a very difficult drama to rate, because on one hand the storytelling was pretty decent, and on the other hand the romance was absolutely horrendous for a drama whose first and foremost genre is romance. There was just no romantic development for Woori with either bachelor (I’m just going to brush over the fact that they dragged on the love triangle for 14 episodes and I absolutely despise love triangles). I genuinely don’t really understand any of the Rafael shippers (of course most of them were shipping them because of the original) because, objectively speaking as someone who has never seen the OG version, Rafael was just not a very good option…? His romance with Woori made zero sense (she moved on so QUICK as well???!!!) and the actors just had no chemistry at all. Kang Jae was a much more believable option because supposedly they’ve been dating for 2 years prior. Which is why I’m even more confused about how a random dude who you met a few months ago and a boyfriend of 2 years could even be evaluated at the same level. The whole show was just soooo in Kang Jae’s favor that I’m surprised she liked Rafael at all by the end of the drama. Anyhow, I didn’t hate this drama as much as other people I don’t think, but I still would not recommend it. I watched it for Im Soo Hyang first and foremost, and I would’ve probably not bothered otherwise. To end it on a high note, I absolutely loved the storyline about the mom and the actor father of Woori. I don’t know if this was also in the original story but their romance was hands down the best one in the entire drama, although I would also go as far as to say their romance made the drama bearable for me.Was this review helpful to you?

One of the worst kdrama's I have seen
I thought after the first couple of episodes I had found a gem. Boy was I wrong. This was a stinker for the whole rest of the series. FL turns out to be in my mind a selfish horrible person. The one that marries her was a stinker all the way through. Stupid Stupid Stupid series. I ended up hating everyone. The crime drama plot was beyond dumb and the culprit was like just pulled up out of nowhere. Almost all the problems can be laid on the lap of the writer of this series. Lazy, no creativity. Last episaode they spend most of it setting it up like one person would be the husband. It was so so obvious and sure enough they pulled the stupid switch. Waste of time
Everytime i think about how i managed to finish this drama i feel immense shame. Character development was non existent as nothing the character did made any sense and they just did not have personalities of their own. On top of that, its like they took everything interesting out and we were left with this abomination thats as fun as getting my wisdom teeth getting taken out.The worst part of it is, other than being boring and nonsensical, the last episode might just be the WORST episode of EVERY single show that has ever aired, somehow this disappointed me more than the game of thrones finale did.

how to make things complicated
the story is about woori, a girl who gets pregnant by accident through artificial insemination. this would have have less impact if she wasn't a catholic who made a purity oath. and on top of that she had a fiance for 5 years. at this moment all the complications begin. the baby's dad is her one and only ex-crush. the son of the CEO of a big hospital. so you've got intertwined stories with all the characters, you've got murders, plot, multiple plots, proud working girl stories, proud single moms stories, murder investigation, love temptations, so many break-ups and make out! after watching it, while thinking about the story, it just remind me of a plate of spaghetti: so many intertwined stories that look like a mess. it's a bit too much complicated for no reason.it's a good show to watch while chilling with friends or family, the story is nice, you don't need to think into it too deeply, it has a lot of ridiculous and funny situations. just switch off your brain and have fun!

Cute story
This is a heart warming family story, 3 generations of women, and how they support each other through tough times. I haven't watched the original, Jane the Virgin, so maybe that changes my view of this drama but I don't understand the other reviews I've read. They almost made me not watch this drama but I'm so glad I ignored them! There were a couple slow parts but overall felt like the drama kept progressing the story well. This is kind of like the Reply series, two choices, and not everyone can be pleased with the choice, I won't give spoilers though! If you want a happy feel good drama, this is a great option.Was this review helpful to you?

BORING...Dumb FL, ML used to be an a$$_ole who now has transformed completely, 2nd ML too good to be possible. Even if the casting was done properly these cliche characters could've been fun to watch. During the beginning of this drama, I did actually like it. I enjoyed the campiness and how goofy the show was.But towards the middle and end... it started going south and the plot made 0 sense whatsoever. ON TOP OF THAT WOORI HAD ZERO CHEMISTRY WITH EITHER OF THE MLS!!!?!? girl seriously had one expression the whole time 😶... Now for the MLs... KANG JAE SUCKS!!!! I honestly can't wrap my head around why people think he was the best choice for Woori.. please explain to me. Also, he would have the same dumb expression on his face ALL THE TIME 😟😟??? WTH IS THAT!?!?! The proposal scene with him and Woori was honestly the most painful thing in the world, it was so embarrassing and cringe 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️.... Probably the most redeeming quality of this drama was Raphael (Sunghoon), I honestly loved him and really wanted him to have a happy ending.. BUT I WAS GIVEN THAT DOG SHIT WEDDING WITH WOORI AND KANG JAE 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I really hope that they make a season two and give Raphael the happy ending he deserves, because what I have heard about the og "Jane the Virgin" is Jane and Raphael get married in the end,, AND I AM PRAYING FOR THAT!! Anyway don't waste your time with this show, it will just disappoint you in the end.
