That night a similar case occurs where a woman is found strangled but not dead, in the middle of a field. Who did it?

I most likely will not continue this show unless I become seriously bored. This is a below average Japanese mystery drama, with the main girl detective being an absolute moron. However, what irritates me even more is that the first case is NOT solved in the first episode. Instead it continues on.
