Loved the episode. Love this entire drama it is so perfectly done with the right blend of so many different genres!

He is straight forward honest without qualms? I so love the male lead character and this actor is playing him so well. This episode is aso showing his capability as a sword fighter. He is slowly evolving and improving to my delight. Can’t wait to see him at a max martial and sage knowledge

I have already watched episode 1 until 8. For now episodes 1-8 all of the Actors are cool and Handsome omg!! ??? The storyline is unique and amazing!! ?. The songs also really touch my heart and relate to the story. I like all the OST Alchemy of Souls ❤️. Tomorrow will come out episodes 9 and 10. I'm very excited ? and Can't wait for the next episodes for tomorrow. Thank you for made this drama. Love it!! ❤️

In Historical Kdramas it always shows fights against brothers to get the throne or love between maid and king etc there is good dramas also but this one is entirely different from the other historical drama using ?️ powerful fights and also main leads my fav and fav idols and other characters acting beautiful fantasy,comedy,love, brotherhood storyline deabeakkk I love this drama only 8 episode released but I'm rewatching it ☺️

This has got to be the most impactful episode, and hence my favourite episode (so far).While I hoped they show Jang Uk's training towards the 2 weeks in preparation for the fight, I did not penalise since the episode, in totality, touched on so many aspects--namely:
1) Chemistry - Naksu and Jang Uk. You can see how she even was willing to inflict bodily harm by using her blood for Jang Uk's tansu. The chemistry was amazing, with Jang Uk even listening to naksu, his master,'s advice. The two have grown to be so comfortable with each other, and as a viewer it is incredibly satisfying to watch. I also squeal at Yul but that's for another day x). Anyway, you can see how inseparable the two are, it's actually adorable.
2) Use of OST. Towards the end, they used an OST so suitable for the whole atmosphere and mood of the show. I particularly love 'Scars Leave Beautiful Trace by CAR, THE GARDEN' and another song that i can't remember the name of rn. So good. The editing team defo did an amazing job on this episode.
3) Plot: (spoiler alert), I feel like the storyline is incredibly complete this episode, though I wished to see more of Yul's perspective towards Naksu, but I suppose that is to be explored in the future episodes. Also the portion where everyone went around spreading rumours like a wildfire in a forest. That was amusing, since they compared Jang Uk to Naksu, which is ironic since Naksu is his master after all.
4) Acting: The acting was so believable. All casts played their roles incredibly, nothing felt amiss and everything felt real, genuine and I would definitely rewatch this episode.If i could give this episode a score, i would even give it 11/10, but ofc thats not possible in my drama list, so I will give it a full 10. Amazing episode. A must watch. To appreciate the complexity of this episode alone. So good that I even bother writing a review about it!
