Original storyline
This drama starts off by introducing this strong, independent and lonely rich woman, who desperately wanted to have kids, but never wanted a sustainable family. So she cajoled a good looking and smart doctor, whom she just met, into marrying her for kids. The male lead didn't know the actual reason but married her after learning that she was the girl he knew when they were young. She was his first love and the female lead did not know/remember him. So he didn't mind marrying her for a year to clear off his aunt's debt. The first episode has already got me addicted to it. The plot was funny because she kept psychoing him into marrying her and she did manage to trick him into the marriage. It has an original storyline, despite using a cliche marriage contract in the plot. Usually, the male lead of such dramas are overbearing boss. But no, they swapped that personality between the genders. Now that we have an overbearing female lead, I was afraid that the male lead will look like a simp. But that wasn't the case either, the male lead was an extremely nice, caring, understanding, clever and supportive husband which made me hooked to this drama. He was indeed upset when he found out her reason for marrying him. But they resolved it when they both revealed that they loved each other. The only issue I had about this drama was that she broke up with him and left the country for good after going bankrupt (why do all dramas have amnesia and such breakup scenes?) and the second leads start to have a lot of screen time (all of which I skipped? But here is also when they spiced up the plot even more with the introduction of their kid. She had a kid without him knowing (kind of impossible you know?) and decided to visit China for a business trip. The kid acting as their son was such a great actor. He managed to portray both his supposedly parents' characteristics that I almost had a delusion that he was their biological son. He had his mom's feisty character and dad's intelligence. His presence made us fell in love with the chemistry and relationship of the characters.If I were the writer, I wouldn't have the female lead trick the male lead into marrying her. Instead, I would have the female lead trick him into having a checkup on her sperm cell counts and steal it for IVF. Sounds more original right?

not good but not bad
i like it, but they are to many spoiler for me that just know this drama. i thought the beginning of this drama is when they have a child. but NO it’s in the middle story ?? becuase when i was searching for this drama. i got so many clip at the scene of he meet with his child. and i got shock when i started this drama, it starting long time ago before that scene. i didn’t expect this at all. because of that, when i was watching this drama, i didn’t get a strong felling for the story. i just want to know the story after he meet his child. but i like their acting, it is so niceWas this review helpful to you?

If you are searching for something really funny with a great storyline and loveable chemistry then this would be the best choice. FL is hell funny and ML is really decent, mature and easy going. They have chemistry with cuteness. FL in start just wanna marry to get a baby but it is ML who made her realize her mistakes and told her why love is important before starting any relationship. The character development is a key point here in story. The little yoyo ahhhh i love him so cute like his parents (Genes hahhah). The second leads are also good have shown great character development. At the end it is worth watching n re watching. I guess it's truly defining its name... Wonderful Drama
I was looking forward to this drama and waited for it to air and finish before watching. Im sooo happy that i watched it, it was my favorite drama of 2020, and there was a lot of wonderful Cdrama that can easily be favorites as well.. but this one, idk it just touched my heart.I absolutely loved the MC, they were just beautiful, i loved the idea of a strong ceo female lead, she chases the guy, but it was soo funny and different, i loved her character. ML was great as well, he was so real and sweet, his back story would make you feel so much compassion for him you may just cry. What i loved is that in the second half, they both had character development, we see the things they struggled with in the first half changes. It was a really great drama, I can't wait to rewatch this. I know its going to be one of those drama's that i watch once every year hahahha. Yes i loved it that much, i guess the chemistry and the emotions i got from the MC was just great for me, and there romance as well.
Give it a chance, its not your typical girl annoyingly chases the guy... its quite the reverse and they made it work!.
**I just re-watched this drama and honestly It's truly one of the best contract marriage, with an amazing ending, love it so much

Hilarious, Cute and Sweet
This is an amazing drama the main couple is amazing and sweet Yoyo is very adorable, the second couple is hilarious this drama is worth watching I read alot of comments and because of the whole contract marriage I dropped it then started watching it again after watching it again I fell in love with it this drama is very hilarious, cute, and sweet.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????☺?☺??Was this review helpful to you?

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Fell in love with the female lead!!!
First of, plot is basically a strong-headed CEO and a warm-hearted Doctor. You would think at the start, how will this drama unfold with this cliche plot for 35 episodes? In other dramas, I would usually keep waiting for the story to unfold and would even have to skip parts because of the dragging. This drama is different. The story flowed. It started very strong with out FL being such a charismatic CEO. You don't expect to suddenly be quarter in the drama and suddenly things folded in a way that you might think, "oh, things are going great, but we're not even half way to the story yet" and then next thing you know, a plot twist happens when the antagonist comes in. You would think it will draaaag but no. For me, I like this. I hate when the antagonist part drags. Certain parts (like the antagonist part) come in to just turn the tables in order to give us a new meaning of the title. Again, in other dramas, sometimes the titles don't really match with the content of the drama. But this one, there are a lot of times you would think "ah, it begins again" but somehow in a different way compared to how they began again last time. I wish I could give as example but don't wanna spoil too much. I love how the production team paid attention to small details like the changing of the female lead's hair style and fashion. A new turning point to her life.I almost forgot, one of the most important things in this drama is the reversal of roles. From charismatic female CEO to promoting ballerino, to what Ling Rui said to FL's dad "Actually, there are no rules to define to how women or men should act", and also when Tang Ping was being harassed and was told she was wearing a skirt that invites pervs and her answer to that I loved. This drama may be cliche in some areas but the role reversal and mentioning controversial society formed norms, you won't find this in some dramas.
Usually a drama just keeps dragging and sometimes I don't understand why they even need more than 16/24 episode. But this drama, I was questioning how else they're gonna move forward until ep 35. But half way it got interesting, and then that part when she had to leave came. It was quick, it only happened in one episode and so many things happened and then it dragged, but it was a good drag. They didn't drag on how long Ling Yue will know about the existence of YouYou. The chemistry between the ML and FL was there, I was quite shocked as time passed. I didn't really expect it since I didn't feel it as much at the start. Not to mention the sudden existence of YouYou. Things just got better. The story line is cliche like a lot of Chinese dramas, but what makes this different is the acting and delivery of emotions. Not to mention how funny some scenes are and the background sound effects.
Seriously, kudos to the production team for producing such a masterpiece. The choices of actors was brilliant. From FL/ML to supporting actors. The emotional scenes of the father and daughter; the stepmum and FL at the end; the scene of FL and her brother; the existence of YouYou; the separation of the FL &ML, how much crying and suffering - even how he can now hold his alcohol because of the amount of drinking he had to do to forget her; the hospital bed scene with YouYou and Ml while FL was fake sleeping and soooo many more. I cried so many times, it's so touching. These things may be cliche sometimes, but it reminds us of many emotions to feel. I realllllly would like to thank the writer for including YouYou in the later part of this drama. In other dramas, I always look forward to the couple having a kid at the end, but sometimes I get disappointed for not seeing it. This one, there was enough time to see them have a child and their interactions. But in all seriousness, YouYou is soooooooooo adorable!!!!!!!!! He really made this drama very worthwhile. He is so sensible and cute and funny. I suddenly have a baby fever again TT I also like the lil friendships that formed throughout the drama.
As already mentioned, I like the addition of background sound effects in certain parts that need highlighting of what kind of scene it is (e.g when things get sexayy haha). The music. Gosh! The OSTs are my type! I love them! It really makes a difference when a drama has a good OST.
In conclusion, I am verrrryyyy satisfied with the ending. It's been so long since I last saw such a satisfying ending that didn't feel dragged at all. Also, everyone had time of closure and screen time to finish off their story. I saw how the FL and ML grew not just professionally but also their affection towards each other. I probably have so much more to say that I have forgotten but I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS DRAMA! Very worthwhile TT
P.S. usually I skip parts when watching a drama in order to get the parts I would like to see, but this one, I barely skipped parts. I am currently having post-drama depression and will have to search for behind the scenes. Would like to thank the production team and the actors/actresses for making this drama happen. Kudos to them.
If I get bored again, I will watch this drama again. Highly would rewatch!

Good drama
The acting is really good in this drama and the couples have great chemistry. I was invested in the second couple, we didn’t get enough of them in the second part for me. The son was adorable and I love the friendship too.It was interesting and funny that after the time jump, it’s like the personality of the two couples shifted. I loved the second male lead personality after 6 years and his interactions with the second female lead are so funny. The height difference is everything too, man is so tall ahah.
It made me emotional in ep 34 when she called the step mom « mom » and said thank you, and she hugged her family.
It was refreshing after some school dramas relationship. I loved the mature relationship and the understanding.
Yes there were breakups, a bit annoying, but we got to see them together for many episodes and the breakup wasn’t to much long for the main couple. For me, the second couple got together again so late, like ep 34/35.
The male lead was a green flag and he was very understanding, didn’t got mad or yell at her. It was funny to me how he cleans and the FL with her snacks.
Also, the ending was really good, we got closure for everyone, even the side caracters. That what we call a perfect ending.

Must watch drama
I love how it goes from the start till the end. The two leads are amazing and the chemistry is so perfect! I’ve been watching the behind the scenes and it’s so funny and feels like a real couple. I cried when I watch Fanning left.Anyways, don’t skip any episode. It’s too lovey dicey but I like it though.. well I just love everything on this drama! I hope there’s seasons 2 or probably another drama for ZYT and Gong Jun.
Gong Jun improve a lot in this drama. And he also looks so mature also. I want him to do a next drama that match his age and also the leading lady.
Zhao Yutong is a great actress. She so fierce and what amaze me is she doing that karate thing. She’s a strong women. I like her character in Begin Again drama.

A unique drama that shows different stages of love
This drama is very unique in the sense that it shows different stages of love! The female lead is introduced first as a strong, a bit stubborn woman. She evolves throughout the drama, and becomes more sensitive to other people's needs and emotions. Her character is very well-written because she is a dynamic character that grows throughout the show. Towards the start she reminded me of the female lead from the korean drama "it's okay to not be okay". The male lead is the more mature main character in this drama, and he is very level-headed, caring, and prudent. Female lead and male lead have amazing chemistry at all points in the show. Throughout the drama, they both grow together and have major life-changing events occur which shows all the stages of love!Plot progression:
The plot progresses well for most parts of the show, but at times it does feel a bit stretched out. Sometime I do recall thinking that the show would be better if it was 24-30 episodes, but still it wasn't all that bad having it at 35 episodes. There are some captivating events that occur from time to time to grasp your attention when you think the drama is slowing down. There is also no real love triangle in this drama, although there was potential for one.

Cliche plot, best possible story
My oversimplified reviewSTORY: A unique story around the cliche forced marriage plot. Really enjoyed the strong female lead. All side characters added to the story, none were overly annoying. Good humor throughout. Story makes logical sense.
EXECUTION: 徐驰 did great with the directing. All actors filled the roles well, chemistry of the main leads was great. The child actor for Youyou did amazing. The cutest scenes between the main couple which starts after they get together ep 3/35. No unnecessary breaking up and jealousy between the couple. Ly Yi Yao and Cai Si Yu (one side couple) were fun to follow, something that’s typically a bit annoying. Music fit well, 三心爱意 was my favorite.
OVERALL: Really really enjoyed this show. Watch for a great plot and couple that involves a forced marriage, business, family, forbidden love, friendship, loss of a sibling, parenthood, and of course starting again.

Not A Bad Story !
I love this drama but some scenes made me very mad and I just skip them. The lead characters were great. The female character was strong, demanding and pushy but had a good heart and her weaknesses that she only show them to the lead male character. The lead male character was sweet and understanding who love family and the family value. The chemistry between them was fabulous. The story had many weak and boring areas. I just skip them. The basic large company that someone is wanting to take down. It surprise when it was successful and the family became just an ordinary family. I did not like when they do not trust each other to communicate with each other about what is happening. Once you become a couple you do trust and communicate. I love the 2nd couple but I wish they had more of a story together and became a couple a little sooner. The chemistry among the actors was great and so was their performance.
