Too disjointed and a big disappointment

I don't know what to say about this. It's four episodes of confusion and complete idiocy. I hear there is another series that goes further with this and maybe I will be able to dredge up enough emotion to care. Without spoilers I can tell you it was too short to really see any character development and too disjointed to make sense. The OST was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I haven't seen the actors in anything else, but honestly they were the only parts of this story that was worthwhile. I don't know how they were able to portray emotion so well despite the lack of actual love story. The actors for Mark and Vee were so good despite a disappointing story. Overall, not really worth the time it took to watch it.

With spoilers: STOP here if you don't want to know what happens in the story! Mark and Vee hook up after Mark apparently realizes that his unrequited love is with someone else and he gets drunk. Vee holds out for about 3 seconds against Mark's drunk kissing and then gives in and takes advantage. Next morning you realize that Vee's got a long time girlfriend (Ploy) that he is supposedly in love with and she lives next door to Mark. Oh yes, he's a great boyfriend. Not really a big deal if he cheats though, since she is doing the same. Then begins a series of disjointed scenes in which we are made to understand that Ploy and Vee may or may not have broken up while Vee and Mark may or may not have begun a relationship. As a true selfish cheater, Vee goes right back to Ploy and breaks Mark's heart. Mark may or may not have moved on with someone else while Vee cried his heart out as all cheaters should. Then wonder of confusing wonders, they appear to get back together after Vee makes some vague excuses and promises he will love Mark only. Cue the happy ending. Except I don't really feel like Vee cares about Mark more than he cares about himself. Mark seems like a doormat who lets his boyfriend walk all over him and then pouts when his boyfriend continues to cheat but forgives because he has no self esteem. It's believable in that aspect, I've seen that often enough in real life, but I don't love those relationships, I hate them. So I can't support the couple and they are the entirety of the series. BIG disappointment. If there was more story or scenes of Mark and Vee or some kind of character development where we could believe that Vee changed, it might be worthwhile. But if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

WATCH THIS. DON'T WATCH THE OTHER ONE.

This is okay. It's even cute. There's consent, if something is wrong they do the right thing and solve it, they communicate. It's SUPER healthy if you compare to the new 2022 series. It's short but it's way more worth it since the actors and characters are great and lovely. I mean of course there were things and behaviors that I didn't like but after seeing that they changed the whole story and personality of the characters to make a terrible drama with a toxic relationship with physical agression and assault I'm a big supporter of this past show. Of course this series has less rating than the new one. I guess it's a thing now... seems like the fans are loving to watch and romanticize sexual abuse and violence between couples. Please go to therapy this isn't cool.

Well I can't expect something extraordinary when seeing the drama has just 4 episodes and 45 minutes running time... But kuddos to the writers, production time ..How in 4 episodes in that 45 minutes also they showed a great deal of the story, which is difficult to show ..But yes they did a good job...And I won't say it was excellent, but it was really good...There were scenes that felt hapazard to me... But I know we can't help it feel that way seeing the drama has 4 episodes , and I can't expect every detailing of particular scene...But till the end I definitely will say the story had great deal of potential, and the actors wer damn good...Their acting was just flawless, especially those teasing scenes or yin crying scene or war emotional scenes..Such damn great actors....Really in that 4 episodes drama also the writer made me feel how problematic are these two guys...Both don't speak that much.....Comeon if u have something to say, both of u speak up ur genuine feelings... Keeping inside what good it will do..But yea at the end they somehow worked on it... Serious communication issues these 2 guys have..And I know what more can I expect from these 4 episodes...So how it was done it's good...Just waiting for their full length, drama of war and yin..My adorable couple, How mark ( war) blushes is something makes me smile too.. A cute baby he looks...His cute smile...And offcourse vee ( yin ) my handsome hunk...His aura is something cool and spectacular..There are other parts too, of en of love.. I haven't watched them ..Need to see them too...Really waiting for their full version on this en of love: love mechanics...My yin × war ( Vee❤️ Mark)..As dramalist suggest it will be in 2021..Waiting for it ...Hope I get to see my adorable babies soon...I really really like these two guys... My cute and handsome couple ❤️

Kisses....

This is the story of the guy who had a girlfriend but kissed a boy and he liked it... More precisely he kissed a very drunk boy, who was so drunk he thought he was kissing someone else... But that does not really matter as he quickly got over the first unattainable guy to fall for the guy with the girlfriend.

And well that is how the story goes people kiss people they should not be kissing, they get caught in one way or another, regret kissing whom ever they should not have been kissing... people break, up people get back together and some vlogger reports more or less factual details about them...

The guy with the girlfriend is very possessive and self admittedly jealous, not of his girlfriend but of the guy he kissed. The guy who got kissed is sweet as a button.

There is not much substance or plot to this show and honestly it feels very oddly cut, and it feels like some parts went missing, However it was entertaining enough for me to be curious about "Love Mechanics"

#veehateclub

this series is pretty entertaining, and the cast is amazing (yin and war absolutely killed it!! wonderful work.), but it has a lot of problems. honestly, the biggest problem is just vee as a character. before i say anything about him, hats off to our lovely yin for playing vee so well and making me hate him so much! — in vee's very first run in with mark, mark is very drunk and under the impression that vee is bar, basically meaning he took advantage of mark. and while doing that, he was also cheating on his girlfriend. infact, for just about the entirety of this series he was cheating on his girlfriend, and then he wants to be sad when ploy cheats & be possessive of mark? really?.. yiwaa was right when she said mark is too good for vee. speaking of mark.. that poor boy. he got his heart broken by bar in tossara, and then he got caught up in this mess with vee, just to get his heart broken again. i feel so bad for him. — i'm glad that mark left vee for a while to give vee time to reflect on and better himself. i liked the ending, even if i do still resent vee a little bit... it was pretty cute.

STRAIGHTFORWARD BUT ENJOYABLE

Not much to say about this one. This is a fairly standard story, although it does have some slight differences. I liked the boys sleeping together on the first night and then having to navigate from there. But the familiar, I've got a girlfriend, I'm gonna cheat on my girlfriend, yet be pissed when she cheats on me, then turn into a needy, possessive "husband" is a bit too cliche for me. Still, I enjoyed the journey of these two characters. You can see that they had to shorten a whole season into 4 episodes, so you only get the highlights of this relationship and I think that's a good thing. If I had to watch 13 episodes of him getting back with Ploy, breaking up, sleeping with Mark, getting back with Ploy... it would have been too frustrating. So this was just the right amount of cliche for 4 eps! Haha.

I liked the two main characters and actors. There was an ease and naturalness to their portrayals. Mark had such expressive eyes. All those sidelong glances and I could tell just what he was thinking. If I had to say any actor played the gay vibe the best, it would be him. He reminded me of so many guys I know. But he spends so much time pouting. I wish they could have brought more levels to his character. All the supporting roles do a fine job as well.

I did enjoy that this was a real relationship. There was actual sex - at least talked about. I liked how all the friends knew what was going on and teased each other about it. It felt very contemporary in that regard.

All in all, a decent journey, expecially since it doesn't require much time or investment. It's a sweet story that should leave you satisfied.

this series could have had such an amazing potential... everything was ruined by the lack of time. i'm starting this review with this bold statement because in my eyes it's very true and i'll explain why.
•good cast. main couple definitely had a good chemistry and they way they portrayed their characters seemed very accurate. this was Yin's 1st ever acting job and he did a good job just like War, who had some more experience beforehand; they both did their characters justice.
•characters design was good. i liked how Yin's character was tormented for his actions and didn't get a free pass immediately. War's character was cold and sarcastic which was something new to me; since we never really see main characters being bratty like that.
•set design - 10/10 amazing, especially the scenes in the club with strong red and purple lighting; so good.
•the PLOT... (insert: honey, you've got a bug storm comin' video). first of all, episode one started very badly. even though the details were not shown, we could see how one of the characters took advantage of his drunk friend. why is this sill a reoccurring issue in BL series? we will never know... but let's go back to the main topic. the plot was shortened as much as it was possible, only getting 3 AND A HALF EPISODE! this is another big issue. as i said before, this series got an unfair treatment. everything was so rushed and the plot was unrolling very fast to then slow down completely in some unneccessary parts... weird?

Overall, it's not great but it's not terrible. Definitely a wasted opportunity of a full length series; Studio Wabi Sabi messed it up. Hopefully they will learn on their mistakes and don't EVER experiment with their series like they did with En Of Love; just release a normal, full 13ep series, not 3 half-assed parts next time... :/ thank you!

What is wrong with you Vee?!

I have to say, this, to me, is the best amongst the three!
The storyline is intriguing, their connection is very, I mean highly, stable and if you listen or pay careful attention, you figure that they are cute.
I have to commend the direction, production, and acting team for creating such an amazing story within 4 episodes.

I personally liked the #VeeMark.
In my opinion, VeeMark visuals surpass the TOSSARA and This is Love Story, and there's a lot of emotions being poured by the character so I really commend the talent of War and Yin.

This series gave me such a special feeling!

The transition of their relationship was quick but expected.

I have rewatched and I'm still rewatching it.

I would recommend it to you! Yes, YOU!

Unrealistic story full of plot holes

The story is okay-ish, something we have seen time and time again. About 2 people are in love with others, but since they cant have them/they cheat, they become close and then shit happens, the same shit, the same misunderstanding which is far fetched and then extends the misunderstanding like anything for an unrealistic amount of time.

Acting is okish with the scope of improvement especially the actor playing the role of
I think just to extend the series / take it in any direction they introduced the nonsense of Vee agreeing to kiss his ex for one last time since they ended on bad terms.

Another nonsense and unrealistic thing, they just hang out with their respective groups together like nothing happened.
The story has so many holes that it seems crooked

hopefully the longer version is better

It's hard to squish a series into four episode I understand that, and I give them credit for at least trying to do it. But this was actual dumpster fire. It makes me not want to watch the long one. It wasn't the acting or anything like that; it was just the fact that it was too short, and I feel like I was just confused. The actors visuals were really good; they complimented each other very nicely. I feel the storyline and how it was executed in this really put me off of actual love mechanics. I just didn't like it. Bro gave him three chances. The third time is the charm, I guess. There's not a lot to say about this. Probably skip it; it's not good, and you will end up with more questions than answers for sure. Just go watch the longer one; I would not recommend it. Okay, onto the tale of a thousand stars. Okay bye!

There's not much to say except I wanted to gouge my eyes out 90% of the time while watching this. There were some cute moments but it doesn't make up for everything else. The first part of the first episode already had a rape trope which was then romanticized and turned into just a regular one-night-stand where one of them just so happened to be blackout drunk to the point he didn't even recognize vee and the other just so happened to have a girlfriend. I loathe the cheating trope and often the writers try to make it seem like it's okay or not cheating just because it was with a guy. IT'S STILL CHEATING! I think they also tried to make viewers feel less weird about the whole situation by making the girlfriend cheat, which is total bs. All in all, this was just not for me.
