Fluffy and fun romance drama that will make you feel really jealous of what they have

No words. Wonderful and happy watch. I really enjoyed every episodes. Not too abrupt not too draggy. I admit, I really had prejudice over this drama when it was aired cz of the title. I'm really glad I found time to check it out.

Idk just watch it. trust me, I've been watching modern c dramas for the past 4 years, most of them have cliché tropes that I digest, and watch without thinking to much, some I've been questioning alot, but for the sake of knowing it's just a drama I'm not making it a big deal. However in here, for Sweet Teeth, they make it so excellent. I have low expectations but they exceeded them more. It's not the best but I can tell you this drama is something. I really love the story, the flow of each of the cp's stories. I really love dramas who show the emotions of the Male Lead not locking them up to a tsundre cold type that most cdramas have. I love how they wrote ai jing chu's character. Zeng li was also a very different Female Lead among the lists that I've watched, she's not annoying nor assuming type of FL, she knows her boundaries and her worth. I also love the girlmance ? I really wish to have that kind of friendship that lasts until y'all get old. Ma Yi Yi, Wu Ying and their partners' stories we're told very nicely, it wasn't overshadowing the main cp nor making them look like shadows of the leads. I like how the writer showed the side characters' struggles as well.

Most of all I really really love how they don't make nonsense scenes, cz that's really evident with modern cdramas. Those ridiculous scenes that won't ever happen in real life u less as depicted in the drama it was the character's imagination yk?, editing was also good I didn't notice scenes that obviously feels like cut. The styling is also good, it matches the characters really really well.

The casting of this is really nice. The only actors I know from here is Liu Te, Xiao Wen and Xuanyi (tho I haven't seen any of her dramas, I only know her as Rocket Girls and WJSN member). I'm surprised by their acting cz it was so good. They delivered their characters really well. I shocked with xuanyi's acting tho, she's really good. Bi Wen Jun is so handsome, I really love it when he smiles ? Their chemistry is overflowing, I also like how they filmed their hugging, cuddling, or kissing scenes cz I'm really tired of seeing actors looking awkward in their romantic scenes, so xuanyi and wen jun thank you for making me happy!

Lastly the OST is TOPNOTCH! Bgm was also good and appropriate. The OSTs suit each of the CPs and they really chose the best songs for the drama.
I reapeat, this is not the best, but I'm telling you guys this will be worth your time!

Sweet, fluffy and annoying at times

This is a sweet, easy to watch, easy to binge drama with little drama and more fluff. The female lead is a bit overbearing at times in the first couple of episodes but calms down and is actually pretty smart and nice. The male lead is all kinds of nice and fluffy, not really and more of a pearl tea than the typical icicle we are used to from other c-dramas. The relationship as a whole progresses slowly and aside for a few drunken kisses here and there all three couples seem to respect each others boundaries. I honestly do not think a single person was pushed up against a wall or put in a position they could not get out of.

The friendships here are also beautiful as well as this dramas take on jealousy and communication, So + for that to. The biggest downside to this drama is immaturity and bad fake loudly crying here and there... especially by one of the female leads best friends. I honestly just had to skip her scenes because she was just over the top annoyingly selfish and stupid.

All in all definitely worth a watch, but could use more scenes between the main couple...

Surprisingly deep, feel good story. Makes you care about all three couples

Enjoyed the calm paced story. This was the first story in cdramas which made me invest in all three couples. Honestly the other two couples were etched out with more personality and chutzpah than the ML-FL pair. They were angular , fun, brash and very strong characters. None of the vibrancy of the side couples was found in the main couple, who were just a pair of serious and sincere and slightly drab people. The story of the ML and FL felt like one of those warm sweet and utterly forgettable story one hears of their Aunts and Uncles in 1970s.
Still the main couple were like the center of the storm and all the action took place outside the periphery of their lives. If their story had more passion and struggle and people stepping out of their comfort zone, the story would have got a lot of fame that it deserved.

Subtly sweet, Better than expected

I lowered to not much expectation for this drama but was curious after watching YT clips.

It started off on a note telling you not to take it seriously. FL has an inner drama queen, furnished with monologues and an active imagination that comes with the territory as a part time writer. Then slowly it evolves.

Before I knew it the characters have back story and become more than an idol drama. Both FL and ML are not exactly the proactive type. ML has a strict routine but when FL makes an impression to him, it was very evident the steps he take and the changes he make so as to interact with her more. Some people call this a slow burn romance. Which i agree partially. FL has postive feelings but is a type who isnt terribly confident in herself and inexperience in relationships. But the many episodes of them spending time together and enjoying each others company in that blurry line of doctor-patient, friend or more than friend was nice.

The love triangle was nicely written too, with a plotline that links back to the past. It didnt drag as well. So what could have been annoying only help to unravel the knot and make it. clear to FL what her heart feels.

Switch to the secondary lovestories, both besties of FL. I like Wu Ying's story better. I did skip on Ma Yi Yi's part. But i have to say FL's bro was pretty cute in the way that he is protective in a sweet way.

I skimmed the novel. There are many shared scenes and dialogue with the drama. But they have dial down ML's character. The drama version was much more mild. Lastly, although I did enjoy the drama on most parts, I still find the acting lacking. Betty Wu was still better than what Ive seen in her previous drama. Alot of her expressions reminsicent to her persona in reality shows. For ML he had som good scenes and some not so. When the dualogue says he looks at FL with stars in his eyes, i cant help eyerolling. Because i didnt feel it. I am jus so aware he is acting and you dont feel hes as atrracted to her as the script calls for.

Honestly we had alot of C dramas in this category and you cant help comparing. We've been treated to idol-actor CPs who had better chemistry (eg Our secret imo). I keep thinking the delivery could have been different with different actors. And that affects the depth of the drama to me. All in all, its still a breezy watch.

Not as good as i had liked

So this is my first review, please do not mind my english.

I am dissapointed in this drama, it looked like the perfect drama for me. I really like sweet and romance drama where there is not a lot to think about. However after the first couple of episodes i allready fast forward more than i really watched. The best thing about this drama is the brother of the FL. His acting is good and i found my self more involved in his story than the main leads.

I loved the older woman/younger man couple, i was really happy with the way this storyline came to a end.

The story has a lot of loopholes and was weird at times. I did like the OTS, it had a happy tune.

It could have been a very sweet and fluffy drama, however i found it boring at times and so unrealistic that i could not watch it. There was no "fire" between the main leads.

Slow Burn Romance

Fresh drama with many interesting characters and storyline. I watched without any expectations because i was afraid i would get disappointed but nope the writer proved me wrong. I just loooove the 3 pairs so much. Each of them is well written with solid back stories. Dr ai and zeng li are shown similar to each other, a loner at first, had wound and sad family stories. So they clicked so fast and deeply fell in love with one another. Yiyi and haoran 's bickering would never fail to make me smile, childish but had 1001 hidden stories. For Wu ying and liu yu feng couple, i didn't expect them to last longer at first bcs i didn't really see wu ying feelings, turned out she also loves him as much as he does, it's just she can easily hide her feelings. I love how we saw liu yi feng a bit childish at first but he's actually rational and knows what he wanted, and will value them with his life.

The pairs might not be perfect, but they will keep becoming a better and bigger person.

And did i mention how i love dr ai proposal? So so heart fluttering. The hidden ring in the book is such a genius move ❤️. He surely knows how to flirt, lol.

one of the sweetest dramas

I was searching for a new romance drama to watch and then I remembered I have Sweet Teeth on my watchlist. Starting it, I was not really expecting much from it, but it turned out to be a sweet, light-hearted drama to watch after a long workday or whenever you want to watch something light without much unnecessary drama in it.
In Sweet Teeth we have 3 couples, one main couple and two side couples. The main couple Zeng Li and Ai Jing Chu were sweet, you could tell early on that they have feelings for each other, but it took them some time to realize it themselves. I found both likeable and they made a perfect couple indeed.
My personal favourite couple were Wu Ying and Liu You Cheng, these two were the cutest and I cheered for them the most. I found there worries and fears about the relationship understandable but I’m happy they overcome all the struggles together.
Third and last couple are Ma Yi Yi and Deng Hao Ran, they also made a great couple but for me these two were the least interesting. I love the role of Ma Yi Yi though.
I don’t think this review of the drama involves spoilers because you can easily tell you ends up with who when looking at the poster lol
Acting – it was my first drama with all of the leads, only Zhai Xiao Wen I’m seeing in Falling Into Your Smile right now too. I feel like everyone did a really good job. I especially like Wu Xuan Yi’s performance as Zeng Li.
I would recommend this drama to everyone that loves a good romance drama and I’m even thinking of re-watching it at some point.

Cute and Quick Drama to watch.

A cute and sweet quick drama to watch. I wasn't expecting too much as I don't know any of the casts. Even though the story is cliche and shows a lot of stereotypes, I enjoyed watching it. I personally like that Mr. Ai is not like the other main leads that are problematic, brat, and/or cold. I enjoyed his character in this series. However, I'm cringing with Zeng Li's acting or you could say that they could have found a better leading lady. In the first episode, she looks so reserved but as the series went on her facial expressions are just cringe to watch. I don't know, her character just became too much. Also, it would have been fun if they followed up on Zeng Li being an author/writer.

I enjoyed the girl friendships. Although, they keep saying they're in their 30s but they're just a bunch of 26 yrs old. They act like they are a bunch of HS kids and keep complaining that they're "old" throughout the series. I didn't enjoy Ma YiYi's character or story, just like the other dramas, one friend has to be a problematic and hopeless romantic. I enjoyed Wu Ying's character development and am happy for her happy ending.

Overall, I enjoyed the 1st half of this drama and kept skipping or fast forward at the end because there are some scenes that are just unnecessary.

This is the prayer before eating that was said by 3 friends: Zeng Li, Wu Ying and Ma Yi Yi. Prayers that of course make the audience smile.

The friendship of these 3 beautiful women is indeed an added value for the drama "Sweet Teeth". Maybe because it's based on a novel, the character of each personnel feels intact.

Score of 8.4 on the mydramalist.com site, which made me watch the drama "Sweet Teeth" and it didn't disappoint! “Sweet Teeth” is a sweet drama.

Not only the acting of Chinese actors/actresses who are handsome and beautiful like candy. The audience is also entertained by a series of coherent and flowing stories. Natural and not made up.

Like story telling, in the first episode the audience was invited to follow Zeng Li's daily activities by bicycle to work, the Dong Hu University library.

Zeng Li talked about his love for books. his silliness, as well as his friends, Wu Ying and Ma Yi Yi who not only share joys and sorrows, also raise capital to establish Carol's Cafe.

The interior design of Carol's Cafe and its knick-knacks reminds me of the dramas "To Love" and "Dating in the Kitchen". Looks homey and makes you feel at home.

So sweet and flowing, the drama "Sweet Teeth" can be watched while relaxing. Eating popcorn while smiling at the behavior of Zeng Li and Ai Jing Chu. Wu Ying and Liu Yu Cheng. As well as Ma Yi Yi and Deng Hao Ran.

The plot is okay, the cinematography is also okay, supported by a sweet and cheerful soundtrack, the drama "Sweet Teeth" is recommended to be watched anytime. The story is not complicated and does not make you frown.

There's something a little annoying. Wan Zi Lin's acting as Ma Yi Yi is not natural. After I checked, on the mydramalist.com site, it turns out that this dark-skinned actress has just entered the small screen in 2020.

Compare this with Betty Wu, who plays Zeng Li, who has appeared on TVShow since she was 3 years old. Meanwhile, Bi Wen Jun has played Ai Jing Chu since she was a baby. No!

The second annoyance is the kisseu scene which doesn't feel right.

When a boy is afraid to see his lover, afraid of being hit or something, And then meets at the flyover in good health, to express his relief, should he hug or kiss?

Very sweet and cute romance drama with 3 pairs

modern cdrama about 3 female friends and their love stories. Of course here exist one main pair. Whole drama got really sweet and cute vibe. Chemistry between actors is good and setting can be said very realistic. If I should compare it to something I would say its little alike - Run On kdrama.

plot - ML is handsome dentist which also teaches at university. FL is university librarian. FL firstly misunderstand MLs character, but thanks few happenings and her mother wanting her to reshape FLs smile will FL get near to ML as his patient.

Unexpectedly really good and sweet. In fact I was amazed at how much butterflies I felt watching the drama.

The best thing of this drama is the realistic viewpoints of love, friendship . Age gap, inexperienced couple, playboy phase, divorce and remarriage etc are some of the views of today's relationships which were individually portrayed by the lead characters. The natural attraction towards others and the character development of each character added so much more to the story. The story was on point and well written.

I especially loved that the secondary couples' story was rich and added a lot to the drama. Also the fact that there were no annoying second leads, misunderstandings, chichés, deserve a big thumbs up.

Big props to the amazing OST, aesthetics and visuals (I could literally go on writing about their looks. The boys are fine AF and the girls are damn pretty).

Overall if you're looking for something sweet, fluffy and realistic I highly suggest you to watch it.
