Neoui haengdonge seolleeohago (I feel excited because of your actions)

To start this, I'm happy I watched this w/o waiting the complete episodes. It's supper funny lovely, cute, etc
Firstly, I was wowed when I saw the ratings get so high that fast. I actually did't check last night because I want to watch it together with ep 12.

I will list first the thing that I don't like because there is just little things I don't like
- I hate those "years later" thing, you could say it is the same with airport scenes.
> the story wast good enough the america thing is not needed for me.
- They should handled the grandfather of Taemu and father of Yeongsu better
> they showed the series about Geum Hui so I never thought that they made it like the series too, it means the series is
unnecessary.
- Did I ever heard them saying "I Love You", they should atleast right hehe.

Stop the negativity there, I'll focus on those a lot of things that I liked
- Shin Ha Ri the ultimate heroine. She is so funny, cute, beautiful and mature w/o being naive. She has the best relationship with everyone. She's the most likeable character these days. Although, she shouldn't hide Tae mu all the time haha.
-Tae mu the great cold president but crazy in love with HaRi. He is too funny too especially when there are unexpected things hehe. It's good that they made him the president that is not obsessed with high class places, he can go anywhere and he stands his word towards Ha Ri.
- Yeongsu and Sunghoon, they are so funny too. they have shorter scene because they are the 2nd couple that is why there relationship is not that chaotic. They just love each other and they fight for it.
-Chairman Kang. He should be my favorite character but not now because of his reaction to Ha Ri and Taemu's relationship. I'm not saying that they should let him accept her directly but they should handled it better like the parents of Hari. I love the reactions of Hari's parents, they are not 100% approved but they handled that part well. This drama is so funny and hard to cry but I cried when Hari's father talked to Taemu.

The number of episode is just fine, they might just drag it if it will be 16 but I hope that it should be 13 or at least an special episode to wrap up everything because there are things that I want to see. They did not actually finish giving a solution to Hari's situation at the company, they should show them their marriage so that Hari's name will be hundred percent clean. I love to see the reaction of TEAM 1 about them being lovey dovey hehe. I want Taemu to clear things with Hari's parents about those rumors, they can't just ignore that because the parents doesn't know about it. They should show the future relationship between Hari and Grandpa because they are the funniest in this drama, I'll say that the hospital scene was the funniest for me ahahaha. I want them so badly to say "I love you" to each other openly. Of course those are just my wishful thinking hehe because I'm already happy with it.

I would say this is my favourite among all the dramas I watched so far this YEAR but I'm giving it 9.5 because I really want atleast 1 ep hehe.

OK. So, this drama is all about the chaotic, funny, and lovely relationship of a president and an employee. The president and employee thing might be an old concept but it is different from this drama, they made it so good. There are too many characters and scenes that will crack you up from laughing , it is light not to intense and there is no relative that will try to snatch the company. I just loved how they made it simple, adorable yet satisfying story line. I give credit to Kim Sejeong for bringing Hari's character the best, she made it so good, although everyone is good it's just that Hari is the best for me. This drama is my happy pill every monday and tuesday.

SO TO THOSE THAT ARE YET TO WATCH THIS, DON'T HESITATE AND START TO BUCKLE UP YOURSELF FOR A CRAZY JOURNEY.

A MUST WATCH DRAMA.

This is, without a doubt, the best K-drama I've seen in 2022.

Yes, it was another cliched love story. The cold CEO male lead, who has no idea what love is, A chaotic yet calm female lead from a middle-class family, and the romance of their respective friends. It creates a love square in which neither of them has any negative feelings. For a brief moment, there is also a love triangle, but yeah.
They will keep you engaged and curious about the next episode from the very first episode. They have fantastic twists in between, as well as a family comedy drama, which makes the whole thing perfect.

In a nutshell, this is a cute, fluffy, sweet romance drama about two couples with a lot of comedy that lasts until the final episode.

One of the best kdramas I've ever seen

To be honest, this series are amazing. Not only do the cast portray an incredible job, but also they have insane chemistry which is no joke. The plot is really interesting and every chapter is so enjoyable that I could watch it several times. The only thing that I can object is that the ending was quite rushed, but I still enjoyed it as if I was a child watching a movie. I would love a second season but I believe there won't be enough material to do so. Anyways, I would love it in order to see the interactions between both the lead and the second couple, as both of them are really amazing and you can really feel they are in love with each other. Also the friendship between the characters is so funny that I wish I had some friendship like that.

I 110% recommend this kdrama!

A Business Proposal
Soooo A Business Proposal just finished and although the last episode was kind of rushed, I loved the whole series! I can totally see myself re-watching this in the future! I loved the characters (the Grandad made me laugh so much, he's so relatable!), the acting was fantastic, the OST was so so so good, and the overall story was beautiful! I wish the ending hadn't been as rushed and that we’d seen a wedding or two, but I'm glad it wasn't a full 16 episodes. I don't think it would've worked well, it would've meant dragging things out and the show would've lost its spark. I should give it a 10/10, but I think it's a 9.5 because I'm being picky about the ending.
Oh, and one last thing, this was one of the first series where I loved both the lead couples! I thought both the main and second lead romances were beautifully crafted, they oozed so much chemistry and were heart-racingly amazing to watch!!!
Here are some reasons why you should watch it:
• The Grandfather
• The bromance and the sismance ?
• The OST 10/10
• Its shorter than most kdramas
• It was definitely made to be binged watched
• THE CHEMISTRY ?
• The comedy scenes (the fake Jin Young Seo scenes were hilarious)
• The friendship between the leads
• Samantha and Rachel (if you know you know) ?
• The perfect use of glasses, to enhance someone’s attractiveness and spice up scenes
• And all the feels! ?
• It is an ultimate rom-com in which clichés are used perfectly and mainly not in a cringy or awkward way.
Reasons you may not enjoy it/want to watch it:
• It’s a classic all out romantic comedy so if you hate all things trope filled and romantic, it's probably best to avoid this drama.
• If you passionately hate any sort of trope/cliché, then you might not like this show even though in my opinion they used them really well
• It has its cringe moments, just like any good rom com
• You may find that the whole drama is just moving too fast. This kdrama is only 12 episodes so they had to ensure that the storyline moved quickly (I think this was done and handled really well, although another episode of an extended episode 12 would’ve been nice)
All that being said, this drama made my Mondays and Tuesdays so much more enjoyable, and I totally recommend treating yourself and watching this kdrama!

BEST ROM-COM KDRAMA OUT THERE.

What can i say about this drama? its just amazing.
The storyline is very interesting itself but the characters are a whole other kinda of interesting. I love when a drama has both good story and good characters and this one is just chefs kiss.
The comedy in this drama is out of this world (rachel and samantha) and the way especially the main female lead plays just make everything like 100% more funny, she is amazing and i am so sad i have been sleeping on her all this time, the rest of the cast is very talented too, either we talking about sad , romantic or comic scenes. I am very impressed by everyone and i will for sure follow their next projects. I was already an huge fan of Kang Min Gue (Snowdrop/Backstreet Rookie) but in this drama he got the recognition he deserves.
The chemistry the couples have is unreal, actually not only the couples but the four main characters with each other (you can see that from their interviews, the way they interact all together). I believe that both couples did great, their storyline didnt tired me not even once and this is rare, i usually prefer one couple (when we have multiple ones) but here i just couldnt, both were excellent. The story isnt drag at all, it had the right amount of misunderstandings, something quite rare when it comes in rom-com kdramas (they usually drag everything so much).
I really believe that this is going to be one of my favorites rom-com ever! It has everything that a good kdrama in this genre needs: comedy, emotions and of course romance. (Steamy romance too, super rare in kdramas)

If you are looking for a fun and romantic Kdrama that it wont tired you THIS IS THE ONE.

Thank the rom-com drama Gods! BP is your drama match made in tropey heaven!

Business Proposal took your favourite rom-com tropes to the next level brilliance. Drop everything and start watching this kdrama right now! I was in a total drama slump and I am pretty easy to please, but Business Proposal pumped the life back in me and I am living.

Like what the majority said, BP is full of tropes but this is where the writing actually excelled. The tropey-ness were turned into comedy gold mixed in with lot of heart. There is this adorable quality in each episode that tickles your funny bone and satisfies your romantic heart. There is also a show within the show that makes fun of these tropes!

THIS IS what real rom-com is all about. The show were also perfectly cast. Not only are they beautiful but their acting chops are brilliant. Comedy is quite hard to pull off. Amazing FL and ML, they are on fire! Ahn Hyeo Seop and Seo Jeong are awesome. The FL has great comedic timing, I don’t think she is even trying. ML is also funny from the get-go. Same with SML and SFL! They are soo good as well. Shin Hari’s work mates are a joy!

The story is pretty basic, but the execution is what made this show a cut above the rest. I haven’t read the webtoon so I came in cold, and I came out really hot and totally into the show. It was pure agony to wait each week for the episode drops. The show kept its momentum from episode 1-11, then it was cut quite short in episode 12.
Perhaps the only negative thing is it ended quite abruptly where I think it could use 1-2 more episodes.

We most definitely need a Season 2, if there’s any show that deserves another run, this is it!

It's bad but I'm still watching lol

I happen to be a sucker for the CEO-enters-fake-marriage-with-stranger trope, so I was gonna get to this one eventually. Yes the plot is unoriginal, the acting range is either average or cringe, and the story is hella rushed, but there's no point in getting mad over it because this show isn't aiming to be taken seriously (I hope not anyway lol).

This is my second drama with AHS(my first was Abyss). He's okay in this. He's definitely believable as a CEO but I won't praise him too much since it isn't that hard to look good in suits. The grandpa was funny. Kim Sejeong's character is very much giving second hand embarrassment but I like her despite her obvious flaws. The scene of her first date was so laughable to me. SMA and KMG are so cute together. At this point I'm just watching for them. They're giving what the main leads aren't. Not too mention KMG is FINE AS HELL. How can he look so good with glasses?!

It's safe to say this show is meh lol but the cast is pretty and the absurdity of it all is stress relieving to watch. If you're looking for a ridiculous lighthearted show that might make you laugh this is for you. If you want something more serious with better acting and more substance than look for something else.

Old romcom tropes in 2022 outfit work just perfectly

Finally, 3 weeks since finishing the drama, one haircut and one trip later, i had some time to gather my thoughts on A Business Proposal.
Overall, it was so incredibly fun watch - it's been a long time since i've watched such a self-indulgent and fun show.
Amazing chemistry between the leads, unashamed use of classic romcom tropes AND perfect execution, on point acting, dynamic camera and storyteling… this drama is by the same director as Suspicious Partner and let me just tell you – he does his job so well.

Business Propsal had amazing start and for a long while all components were right - the main star are the characters of the drama – you love the main leads, you love hating the antagonists, you love the sidekicks… the story is simple but all the characters just click together and they are joy to watch. Sejeong in particular is a delight to watch. Once you put on this show, your brain just voluntarily switches off and enjoys the ride. The problem is when you start thinking about the story below surface.

First 8 episodes are 11/10 - absolute banger. But the last 4 episodes just felt like they were written by a completely different production team. The ending was, i dare to say, unsatisfying. 6/10 at best. Even now, i am still baffled how the show turned so… disappointing. Really...
The grandfather/Geumhee (Hari) storyline was teased for such a long time, until it ended underdeveloped and flat. The sizzling chemistry between the second couple? Gone and whats worse - once you think about the couple - what made them stay together after initial attaction? They had nothing in comon, Youngseo never let the dude finish his sentence (honestly, i found Youngseo absolutely annoying the more i thought about her). Sibling-like relationship between male leads was also not explored enough--- yada yada yada.

I could continue but i guess i'll stop. If i were petty (pettier than i usually am), i’d give this a 7/10 but since i loved the drama so much at the begining and the comedy and production was so so so good i will give this a 8,5/10 and add Business proposal to my ever-growing list of guilty pleasure dramas.

The poster child for a cliche rom-com, but in a good way

As a K-drama, Business Proposal isn’t exactly anything profound, the fake dating plot, love triangle, and poor chicken shop girl with rich CEO romance are all plots we’ve seen a million times before. But I swear we still eat it up every time, and with Business Proposal, I absolutely did.

This was actually my first K-Drama ever, but I’m going back after watching over twenty others, and my opinions still remain the same. Business Proposal took a tried and true formula and executed it well.

The casting is probably one of the biggest highlights of the show, good acting and a good cast can make almost any basic plot enjoyable, and Business Proposal is undeniably a pretty basic plot. I’m not complaining though because I loved every second of it.

Both the lead couple and the second lead couple were perfectly cast, and the chemistry with both pairs was on point. I usually only care about one couple in a show, but in this one I loved them both. Plus, they’re all hot so that’s always a bonus.

It's pretty cheesy, but not too cringey, and the show is mildly unhinged, but I think it’s exactly what a good brain rot Rom-Com should be. I actually found myself laughing out loud several times while watching it, and not many shows get that out of me.

While not one of my favorites ever I did really like the OST and it added to the show in all the right ways, so no complaints for me there.

There isn’t much more to say about the show plot wise, but it’s got great romance, genuinely funny jokes and makes for an enjoyable time.

It's not a masterpiece but it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be.

It’s just boring

Contract marriages are just that, rich people who contract poor girls and then fall in true love and love each other and I don't like the SF, why didn't she come and say she didn't want to get married instead of begging like that to be replaced even though it wasn't FL fault to cancel the marriage. the storyline is predictable and very boring but it helps because their acting is all good and the shooting is decent but the storyline is boring it is very difficult to continue watching even though in the end I was able to watch until the end overall I give it 4 stars if you want waste time go watch but if you think this is 10/10 big no.

This Rom-Com had me smiling through the whole thing!

***I just had to add something to my original review. I just re-watched this show, because I had just finished watching a couple of no-so-great shows and I needed something I knew I would enjoy. Upon re-watch, I think I enjoyed it even more, and this is why. The development of relationships was very evident, of both couples. I loved seeing even the most seemingly insignificant conversations, you could really understand why they felt the way they did about each other. So many shows, you never quite understand why the people like each other. It was just as much fun the second time around.

What a fun show!

Let's be honest, there's nothing too terribly original about it, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, if the things that they are doing are what you enjoy. And enjoy I did. It's full of the typical rom-com cliches, but it's put together in a very endearing way. The identity confusion didn't go on too terribly long, the main leads were strong characters that didn't let their families walk all over them, and I can ALMOST forgive the obligatory time jump. There is a lot of heart, a lot of humor, and a lot of fun to be found in this show. I also appreciated the fact that there weren't misunderstandings just to push the show along and keep the couple apart. We get to see an actual development of a relationship here, which I really enjoyed.

ACTING: Ahn Hyo Seop as Tang Moo - I had a bit of trouble with him toward the beginning, because it seemed he was trying to channel the lead from What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, but then a couple of episodes in he seemed to hit his stride. I ADORED him as Yoo Chan in Thirty but Seventeen, but whereas there he reminded me of a gangly puppy that hadn't grown into his body, here you can see that he has definitely grown into himself and is full of that cool grace of a romantic male lead. I thought everyone in the show did a very good job.

CHEMISTRY: Wonderful chemistry between both the lead couple and the second lead couple. No fish kisses, which is a nice change. Both couples had healthy relationships and there was time spent in honest, everyday conversations. I loved the scene of the lead couple when she went back to talk to him at the hospital when it was raining. there was a good balance between sadness, support and love as they discussed survivor's guilt.

The bromance was okay but tempered by the fact that they were employer/employee.
Sismance - amazing! While watching these two women from such completely different backgrounds interact, they were always supportive of each other. I love to see healthy friendships in the shows that I watch.
The ending was okay, a little more rushed than I like, but definitely better than most.

I have so many shows on my list to watch, I'm not normally one to re-watch anything, but I may revisit this one again soon, because it's an easy watch and it left me smiling.

Fun and entertaining

A light-hearted series full of the usual rom-com clichés, but everything has been put together so well through impressive acting, and impeccable comedic timing that the clichés become a necessary part of the show. Kim Sejeong owns every character she plays and this was no exception. It's always better to watch a series when everyone understands the assignment. Basically, it's frustration-free. I would revisit this again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good rom-com. This is at the high end of its genre.
