"Be there for others, but never leave yourself behind."

Amazing Story By Webtoon A Beautifully Shown In The Drama.
The story of So Mang and Ha Min is bittersweet but beautiful at the same time.
The letter. I know most want her to read it and a part of me does too, but we know what she was to him and we know how he felt about her. Nothing in that letter would change that, so I think it is better left unread. This scene made me cried. The ending scene was when Ha Min expressed how he felt that day and told her to move on and live her life.
Overall this not just A drama its a feeling about how we protect and care about that person whom we can't see it in pain.

"A bittersweet dream."

Nostalgia pours through every scene. The actors portray the messages with bittersweet tenderness. For anyone that has ever lost someone, or had someone close who suffers from the disease and the reality of depression, or even if the person happens to be you, this is a reminder like a rainbow, that we all need someone who can help us. There are people all around us, beside us, and inside us going through something. We often hide from others, but we can never hide our truths from ourselves. This story is the one you did not expect, but it is necessary.

This drama has seeped so deep into my heart and made me cry so much. It feels so beautiful yet sorrowful at the same time. I don't know why, but every time Lee Ha min and Han So mang get a scene together, it will turn out like a poem, everything becomes so beautiful. Seasons of Blossom really show off Seo Ji hoon and So Ju yeon chemistry so well. Or maybe it is because the actor themselves have a great acting skill.
I recommend this drama to everyone but make sure to prepare yourself with a box of tissues!

Good Enough

Korean Drama " Seasons of Blossom " is a school drama with a tragic story at its center.

The drama starts out as a typical school rom-com, but quickly escalates away from it. It talks about trauma, family drama, and dealing with the lose of a loved one. It also has a romantic aspect, as it presents two love stories, one of the past and the current one. Both of them were cute, the first one was tragic and had a nostalgic feel to it, and the other was kind of refreshing and cute.

The performances, in addition, were enjoyable by everyone in the cast. However, the female lead's character tended to be annoying and tiring after a while.

So, overall, eight and a half out of ten.

"Thank you for being with me during my most radiant times."

I finished watching this a while back but I've decided to write a review for this. So beware of the mixed feelings I put in this review xD.

I have read the webtoon before watching the series and I am so happy that they kept most of the parts from the webtoon the same. They kept most of the dialogues as it were and recreated most of the scenes really well. However, I was kind of disappointed that they didn't find someone shorter to play as Choi Jinyoung because the actual trope from the webtoon was supposed to be tall girl short boy and that's what i found really unique. But anyways, despite that reason all the actors and actresses really did a good job in portraying their characters.

However, I was sometimes confused when watching due to the timeline. It went back and forth from the present and the past, but it was beautifully made. I really love how they also gave cameos/hints throughout the series of the other main characters in different seasons. I think for those who haven't read the webtoon, it'll be hard to find or understand.

I also really love the cinematography of the drama. It has a warm tone and good sceneries that made me feel comfortable to watch. And also the calming ost that made me cry along :( A huge huge appreciation for the main leads especially Seo Ji Hoon for playing as Lee Ha Min. The pain he went through was portrayed very well that gave me several breakdowns :')

Overall I think Seasons of Blossom was adapted very well. It taught me many new life lessons and I hope that they'll adapt autumn & winter seasons too! <3

I've finished all my tears with it

This drama was one of those dramas that makes you cry even if you already know everything from episode one.
You'll find out the mai event after 5 minutes from the start of the show so you sort of think you'll be ready for what's coming but in the end, you'll not be.
The main relationship between Ha Min e So Mang is beautiful. The flashback way of telling the story was a great cinematography choice and their acting was very good. The second story (the one in the present) is a bit less interesting.
The youngest school kids aren't the best at acting, not as good as the two main character so that's why I gave the story and acting at 8 and no more.

The ost is amazing. That deserves a 11.

The rewatch value is low cause once you'll know the story you might not feel like a rewatch especially 'cause you've cried enough once.

if you are soft hearted, needy for healing and comforting kdrama, then watch this short kdrama :))

trust the process of this drama, love how it came out but the plot never says it all :')))))
plsss i was crying a lot from this drama, from how it started till the ending was very calming and smoothing kind of feeling for me. As a soft hearted person after the last episode, I gave myself a few minutes to bring my tears rolling through my cheeks because of how comforting this drama was for me tbh :'))

well this drama has 16 episodes with a 20-25 min timeslots, I think the story was very interesting. Involving friendships, past relationships, youth, and with a little bit of grief in the beginning. It was one of my waiting list from my kdrama watchlists, and finally, I get to have enough time to watch this drama series in just 1 day, and I guess I appreciate myself that I get to discover this little masterpiece and one of my comforting kdrama added on my list. This one was placed in my heart which is very special, because sometimes (or maybe by some of you) we had the right time to be with someone, but we met them in a wrong timing, just like how ha-min and so mang unexpectedly experienced the outcome without expecting it was too much for the both of them.

(BEWEARE: LONG NOTE AHEAD!)

Story and the Plot
The story talks about involving a youth-relationship, with unexpected encounters from the past till the present. It all started of how Ha Min and So Mang met unexpectedly together, and due to her loneliness and isolation a bit, Ha Min turns out to be her closest friend until the fall in love little by little, then it all connected to where So Mang was in her mid 20s, started a new path in her life, met the student, jae min, bo mi, jin young and sun hee. Each of them are connected to the issue of Ha Min's death. Then the story deeply shows how their feelings has been developed by their firsts love, from the main lead couple till the second lead couple. As each scenes and scenarios happening around them fits with the lead couple's scenarios or pasts as well. This is how I started to like this series, because how the transitions fits so well. To be specific, there are episodes has the same atmosphere from humor, to sadness, regrets and pain to the end. The story talks about a past relationship, with a grief of someone who died, how they are interconnected by some main leads as well. Overall the story being developed was well made. I think this is the very first time that it tells about a past to present relationships of how it started from falling in love till unexpected circumstances that breaks apart.
The plot was actually far from the story, that makes it no spoilers, which I thanked for because I usually would want to satisfy myself in any kdramas with no spoilers and with surprises. But again, well made story and great youth kdrama as well.

Cinematography and ost
I like how it blends with every scenes portraying the story that gave a little bit of atmosphere as well. With the ost, i think the sad scenes gives the same vibe with the ost or background music playing. I have nothing to say from this part because what I was focusing more was the story and the cast hehe.

Cast and Characters
Hmmmmm I think i'll make this part have more explanations since they give lots of great chemistry with their roles and as most of the main leads, I saw them from previous kdrama series last year and this year. Starting of with Seo Ji-Hoon as Lee Ha Min, hoooo i think this role fits for him as well. His character role was promising, and with all Ha Min has been through, I, myself or others would say its never been easy to carry the burned within you. Switching to the actor, the first kdrama project that saw by him was from meow the secret boy, to the latest kdrama i've watched which is the revenge of others. I was like, wow he made so much changes and hoping that he would get some roles that would be far different from his previous roles. I was rooting for him as well! So Ju Yeon has the same role as a student, with a future character of Han So Mang, i think she has the same role from the last and first kdrama I watched, which is the korean addapt., a love so beautiful. What changed was the personality of the character as Han So Mang. From the character itself, I liked it, but sometimes she could get blinded by darkness because she receives so much pain from Ha Min and blamed herself from everything, until she never gave up to find reasons behind his death. That explains how love give so much power and attention within your heart. Kim Min Kyu ad Lee Jae Min. Well as a younger brother, the character was kinda annoying especially he was young, but I was happy that he developed the feeling of happiness and how thankful he is to his brother because most of the time his brother saved him from troubles he makes that his older brother doesn't want to have the same experience as him. Last kdrama i saw from him was pop out boy, and I guess him as a rookie actor, I think I need to see him more from kdramas to see how good he is but he made his role special from this drama as well! Kang Hye Won as Yoon Bo Mi, hye won was very new to her acting career, and hoping that she could receive other roles from future projects and rooting for her as well! But her character was sweet and pure, and I like how she developed from her misunderstandings with her relationships and friendships. Yoon Hyun Soo as Choi Jin Young, Well he was kinda familiar and I noticed that my first and latest kdrama that I saw him was from my fav k web series, hope or dope season 1 and 2! his character was from cold and arrogant with a little of his alter ego, turning to soft hearted and lovable, because of their fake relationship with Bo Mi until he also fell in love with her. And last but not the least, Oh Yu Jin as Kang Sun Hee. I saw her from the very latest k web drama series, new love playlist. I really fell in love with her character and personality. I felt like we have something in common, which is anger issues haha. But her character was never been so annoying because she brings happiness and tension when she appears. I love her attitude with her friendships, how she maturely handles situations like that. With the actress, she was very promising after all I get so attracted from her role from new love playlist, and she deserve so much recognition and as I added her as one of my favorite rookie actresses <33

Overall, this web drama series was very promising from the beginning, and I'll conclude this note since I wrote this 25-30 mins and that's why I gave my all hahaha.
Good for binge-watch, especially I binge-watched in just 1 day, good for time kill as well! Lastly, recommended and great for beginners who needed comfort and healing <33

Rooting for ALL the main lead's next projectssss!!! HA MIN AND SO MANG DESERVE A GOOD ENDING :(((

Emotional and Heart-Warming with a Sprinkle of cuteness

I picked up Seasons of Blossom because of the ratings. I had no idea what this drama was going to be about and I will admit, within the first 15 minutes of watching the show, I wonder if it would be my jam. I usually like lighter dramas so when I realized the tone and feel of Seasons of Blossom would be a little more melo-drama, I went into it with trepidation.

To my surprise, I REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoyed this emotional roller coaster show. It made me feel a range of emotions.

I feel like this drama really redeemed So Ju Yeon from A love so Beautiful. She’s so tiny with a high-pitched voice, she doesn’t really scream leading FL role, but she completely nailed her character. The chemistry between her and Seo Ji Hoon was probably my favorite part of the drama. You really do feel for both characters and root for them to the very end. I would like to see him in a leading role not as a High School student.

Despite the melo-drama undertones, the saving grace of the show was the present day storyline between the 4 kids. I really enjoyed going back from light to heavy storyline. It just made it exciting to watch and you want every character to have their happy story.

The casting was really good, I’ve never seen the new kids act and they were very good at their roles. You have the two good looking students, the misfits side characters and the loner second ML you want to get the girl.

I really enjoyed the mature storyline / script. There was really no misunderstandings or stupid back-stabbing. It really was about caring about others, finding your first love and awkwardly surviving your high school years. It was VERY refreshing to watch a HS drama about these issues.

I loved both storylines equally, in regard towards the past and present timelines. I really ached and my heart moved watching the relationship between the two leads.

Overall, a beautiful story about that precious brief time of finding your first love, regardless if it’s lasting or not, it should be cherished and always remembered.

Vou sempre me lembrar de você, Ha min. Espero que todas as pessoas que assistirem isso, entendam a importância do que a história quer passar. Foi muito bom ver a maneira como a protagonista aprendeu a lidar com o seu luto, é guardar os momentos com o Ha min como uma lembrança feliz.

Heartbreaking and worthwhile

Since you know from the first moment that the story (and the synopsis) Seasons of Blossom is a look back at the loss of someone (death) from six years prior, this drama gave me more of a poignant feel than a crushing sense of unexpected loss. The writers do an amazing job addressing regret and atonement. These two topics made for so much heartbreak and grief that as a viewer it is painful to watch... yet the way they film they scenes keeps the viewer from being too overwhelmed.By continually flipping from present to past, allows the viewer to focus on multiple "blooming" love stories and breaks up the sense of impending doom...The series reminded me a bit of The Sound Of Magic (and for that matter a lot of kdramas) in the sense that it deals with parental expectations and the burden they can become. So my take away is yes ... this is a tragic story and it is heart wrenching! BUT... since there has not been any "gotcha" moments of unexpectedness, I have not been crying my eyes out... even though my heart has been aching from the very first episode. So if you go into it with that in mind ... this is one the the most beautifully written dramas I have seen this year. The acting has also been some of the best (and most of them are young/ newer actors/ actresses).Coming from me who's first question is always ... does it have a happy ending?!?!? I have no regrets starting this drama. I can not wait to see more projects from all of these actors/ actresses!

Past tense relationship saved the show

I have really enjoyed this show.
It talks about ones hurt and how it could implement everyone who loves that person to be severely sad.
The casting is pretty good except the new generation cast felt very "school theater/drama class" esc.
It's not even about overdoing it, all of them just were doing the bare minimum and that made that generation cast
look very weak. even though the cast that had the past tense relationship had more experience. most of their first works were easy to identify their characters in other dramas. easy meaning as in you can actually relate or feel that character.

what i didn't like:
honestly they should've kept it as the past relationship only. the newer didn't really do anything major. it was just a hit or miss with the newer kids. towards the last episodes their story was okay, they just made the drama look light when its supposed to be very melodramatic with it being sad. the drama would go to a hamin scene with a very sad topic and then it would go towards jaemin or either of the new kids, with a happy vibe. it just didn't fit.

What i didnt understand, it was kinda random that jaemins word made hamin kill himself. like what?????

however i really do enjoy watching this. but because the newer kids do get annoying, i dont think ill rewatch. hope seo ji hoon will have an actual main character. i know he has a new one coming soon but hes not the first main.. so i wish he gets one after that. ill be waiting.

I mean, I was sobbing

First of all, Seo Ji Hoon is absolutely mesmerizing in this drama. How and why is he not starring in every upcoming drama? He's SO AMAZING. What an incredible talent. I've watched 77 Kdramas so far and his performance was probably the best I've ever seen. I saw him in My Lovely Liar and he was stand out in that drama (he had a fairly minor role, but I remembered him). But in this one, totally blew me away.

I do feel like 99% of my enjoyment of this drama was Seo Ji Hoon. The rest of the cast did perfectly fine. The story had some unevenness but was mostly fine. Keeping it real: without Seo Ji Hoon in his role, this probably would've been a 6 instead of an 8 overall.

But because of the believability and excellence of Seo Ji Hoon's performance, this drama had me sobbing at the very end. I cried and cried and couldn't stop wishing he'd somehow come back. Ugh. So, so, so sad. I'm going to have to watch another drama with this actor ASAP.

Good.

I enjoyed this. It was sad but, the acting was good and the plot was well thought out. The entire drama seemed cohesive, sometimes stories like these end up having plot holes or they're too tragic for me to handle, I could handle the sadness of this one, and although it was hard it was manageable to watch this one without feeling overwhelmed by sadness. I actually thought this would be sadder than it ended up being, I'm glad it wasn't as sad. I think everything wrapped up nicely but I wouldn't necessarily call it a happy ending, I thought it was even more sad the way it ended. I enjoyed the present story a lot, all the actors did a good job. I think honestly if the last few things I watched weren't so amazing I would be more blown away by this, it was a really solid story, the acting wasn't bad, and it was all enjoyable, so I can't give it a lower rating.
