The 19 kiss scenes of "Le You Yuan"

Xu Kai and Jing Tian, were so sweet and were so close that they forgot themselves but failed because of "this point".

The period drama " Wonderland of Love ",Starring Xu Kai and Jing Tian,
has increased its viewership. The two represented a weak and fake sick grandson and a strong general who fall in love with each other. The kissing scene became the highlight. And CP fans are obsessed with him. lol

When talking about the kiss scenes, the two laughed in unison and said that the "duration" of their kisses was the key to success because the director never complained about it, there were times when the kiss lasted too long and they couldn't help it. I can't help but laugh out loud! lol

"Wonderland of Love" describes a time when the court is in crisis.
The emperor's grandson "Li Ni" (played by Xu Kai), who guards the border, is forced to take on the great responsibility of countering the rebellion.
He has to deal with the General's only daughter "Cui Lin" (played by Jing Tian) who hides his true identity from him. Each one leads an army and is involved in the world war. The two face each other several times in overt and covert struggles of multiple forces, and then fall in love with each other, staging a romantic love story in which the two are committed for the country and the two will fight together........

『 THIS PART MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS 』

The two fell in love and there were 19 kissing scenes.(?👀) In one scene, she sweetly yelled, "What are you doing?" Then, Xu Kai kissed her (even more) The two hugged and kissed passionately. The scene was sweet and sexy tbh..... There was another scene where Xu Kai was sleeping and his face was close to Jing Tian's neck. She looked at him with eyes full of love and couldn't help but kiss him. During the rehearsal of this scene, Jing Tian couldn't stand Xu Kai's affection. I really kissed Qiao for a good position and pink bubbles flew all over the sky.

Recently, the two were interviewed and talked about interesting things behind the scenes of the kiss scene. Xu Kai laughed and said that the length of her kiss was the best because the director didn't stop and kept pointing next to him: "Kai, please, Kiss harder!" turn around. Turn around. kai!, turn around, don't stay here! Sometimes the two can't help but laugh after kissing for too long. lol Furthermore, he and Jing Tian have high noses, "We ran into each other all the time, one (kiss) scene, the noses kept fighting!"😆

Xu Kai and Jing Tian worked well together. The couple's CP combination in the film was called "a battle of wits, courage, love and death." Outside the movie, Xu Kai felt that Jing Tian was just a foolish Baitian, and how could she have so many tricks and tricks. Jing Tian discovered that Xu Kai is a very talented person: "Brother Kai can change roles very quickly.
The popular word on the Internet is that he can switch between wolfdog and milk dog at will." XD XD

This show left a strong impression on me, primarily due to the exceptional chemistry between the cast members and their outstanding performances. The connection between the characters added depth and authenticity to the storyline, making each moment feel genuinely compelling. Plus I loved the visually stunning costumes, which added an extra layer of aesthetic appeal to my viewing experience.

“Wonderland of Love” is a great romance drama set in a historical period. The drama is an adaptation of the novel written by Fei Wo Si Cun, the pen name of the popular Chinese writer Ai Jingjing, original creator of “Good Bye, My Princess”. Wonderland of Love is really a masterpiece with a fantastic cast that masterfully brought their characters to life. This drama has a solid plot with great entertainment value, there are great action scenes, aesthetically pleasing cinematography , well placed sounds that adds depth and realism to the drama as well as a beautiful OST that helps convey the emotions of the actors and their actions. The leading couple, Xu Kai (as Li Ni / Shiqi Lang) and Jing Tian (as Cui Lin / A Ying) are a force to be reckoned with. Their characters are equally supplemented with artful intelligence and strategic schemes, great combat skills, strong mental and emotional bond, and a fantastic chemistry. Their
playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks, the way that they understood each other, and their steadfast love was delivered beautifully throughout the drama. The drama would not have been as great if it was not also that the supporting cast (friends and antagonists) was phenomenal. If there is one thing to complain, for romance lovers, is that the leading’s couple romantic scenes takes always ended up with distant camera shots and angles. Still, Xu Kai and Jing Tian manage to delivers some heartbreaking and heart fluttering scenes that made the intensity of their love realistic. Overall, this drama is extraordinary, enjoy it!

Just a victim of 2ML syndrome, again. #rant

I'll start off by saying yes, I am a big fan of Xu Kai. This drama isn't my favorite type, but I watched it anyway because I knew it would be worth it. Even if he is given a terrible role, he is such a good actor he makes anything he is in worth watching. 10/10 for him, as always in my eyes. And I also really enjoyed Jing Tian here as well! I am not very familiar with her, but I am a fan now.
Howeverrrrr. Here is what I am here for: I absolutely love Gao Han. You can also ff through this review if you want, I'm just going to talk about him now. It's personal preference of course, but I first saw and loved him in The Living Dead, and was so happy he had more screen time when he was in Falling Into Your Smile with Xu Kai (love them together lol).
Yes I admit, his character in WOL is the typical "2ML too obsessed with FL and becomes increasingly unlikable"... Like so many other shows. I really wish it were a better side plot. But he really did so well, in my opinion he is an underrated actor. Hate the character and the writing, yes we all did, (really, can't we get more plots for 2ML these days??) but Gao Han was flawless - I really only saw this one to the end for him. I'll look forward to his next role, and if you actually read my long rant / profession of love, thank you haha I hope everyone enjoyed this show! ^^

Best historical C-drama Ever

I really don't like Historical Drama at all, and I started this show without any expectations.. But NOW I'm speechless!! I still can't believe this masterpiece is available for FREE .. everything are sooooo perfect, All characters did great job especially ML and FL
I've never seen a smart, cunning, Tricky and smart ML & FL like those ones .. they have written Thier characters very well
and their relationship was amazing whether in political side or in romance side
Main leads relationship, is so normal have many ups and downs
they're even .. no one has to control the other side. I can't get over from it
for me it's 10/10 and still can't find any historical good drama like this one, unfortunately

This is the first cdrama I’d rewatch over and over again

Wonderland of Love is truly a gem in the cdrama world. The thing I loved most about it was the healthy and bickering relationships between all the characters. They made me feel good, happy and hopeful.

I love that the female lead is a female captain in the army. She’s courageous, strong, witty and loyal. But the male lead is the one who truly got me all the feels. I think this is Xu Kai’s best project yet, his performance was sincere, he showed all his emotions starting as a carefree boy and then as a victorious general and so on. I loved his character, his intelligence, his jokes and the fact that he only has eyes for A’ying. Their dynamic is thrilling and engaging till the very end.

The OSTs, the costumes and the scenography are so beautiful too.

This is the only cdrama that I would rewatch over and over again.

My all-time favorite historical c drama

I’ve watched countless c dramas including many historicals, but Wonderland of Love is the best one yet! I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to for this c drama. Everything from the plot to the cast to the effects was just perfect!
I’ll review each aspect one by one:

1- Storyline/Plot

I really enjoyed this plot, especially the romance trope. I always love when the main leads are equals in terms of personality, intelligence and skills. FL and ML match each other’s energy so much and I love watching them work together and predict each other’s plans. For once, they act like grown ups who can communicate and get to an understanding instead of being stuck in a misunderstanding for over ten episodes. This type of romance is my favorite. Aside from the love story, the side plot is also very well crafted. The intense moments are just right and not overly done, but just enough to make your heart beat faster.. The sad scenes are not too dramatic but just enough to make you shed a tear. The story is incredibly beautiful and I’m so glad it was a happy ending!
I do have to specify that though it’s happy, a lot was lost for that ending.

2- Cast

I am absolutely in love with the cast. Xu Kai is one of my favorite actors. His expressions are perfect and the way his eyes tell his emotions! He was outstanding in this show, and so was Jing Tian. To me, the two match each other so much they look perfect together. The way they acted together really made me feel the romance in the air and their feelings were extremely realistic. The chemistry is INSANE!
The support roles were also very important to the show. Especially the brothers/Li Ni’s subordinates. I felt their acting on another level and they definitely added something special tot this show.

3- Effects/Music/Costumes

The music was well chosen for every moment. I don’t want to spoil anything but the music during the sad moments were more than enough to make me cry my whole life out. It all felt so realistic. Another point is the costumes. For a historical drama, the costumes were very well designed and everything about this drama will make you feel like you’re in ancient China. The effects were out of this world. Every scene with bloodshed, ambushes, swords, explosions, etc. Was visually pleasing (not saying the violence but the way it was brought to us).

This whole drama was a roller coaster of emotions and you will not regret watching it.
This is a must watch drama of 2023, and one of the best historical dramas I’ve ever seen! As I said before, everything about this drama matches each other and I promise this wil be a satisfying drama to watch.

Have a good watch <3

Perfect for binge watching

I started off with zero expectations but was super surprised by the chemistry between the leads. It was overflowing. The story was also very good, the action scenes were really well executed. Both the ML and FL were equally strong, intelligent, sharp and funny. They balanced each other off really nicely. The ending was superb, it ended things off perfectly. The equation of the ML and FL with the rest of the characters was amazing. I Loved it

The rewatch value for the show for me would be 9/10.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

Story:
The story starts when the Emperor and nearly his entire family are murdered leaving only a few members of the royal family alive. The ML (Li Ni) is the grandson of the emperor from one of the younger sons. He was exiled to protect the border by his father and grandfather because of his supposed bad attitude (but later it's revealed that he was constantly bullied by his older half-brothers and didn't like the snake pit of the court). He is the commander of the West Pacify Army which is poor but each warrior is worth more than 10 average warriors. He is asked, once his family is murdered, to become emperor but refuses since his father, brothers, and the former crown prince's son are still alive. He advocates for the crown prince's son to be named emperor, but few believe him. While there is chaos because of the rebellion by General Sun, everyone is now vying for the throne. There is also General Cui and his son (daughter) who have fought back against Sun like Li Ni and also say they are doing it for the crown prince's son. However, no one really believes them either. A Ying is the commander of the army for General Cui. Their army is powerful and wealthy and would be a threat even in a stable realm, so everyone believes they would seize power for themselves. Basically a lot of confusion and rightful paranoia about who can be trusted and what people's motivations are.
The story is political-romance-action. It does a very good job of showing everyone's motivations for their actions. Li Ni and A Ying are both exceptionally well written characters, who's playful banter, intelligence and depth is fully explored.
The plot is fast paced. It doesn't stall and there is always a purpose to scenes, even if it's a filler scene. The side characters also have great plots and character development.
Acting:
Xu Kai and Jing Tian are exceptional. I started this show for Xu Kai because I've loved most of what I've seen him in (and if I didn't like a show with him in it, it was never because of him), and he didn't disappoint. From the first moment you can see his swagger and cheek that is so perfect for this role. He's a combination of playful and serious and Xu Kai does it perfectly, transforming from puppy to wolf in seconds (quoting Jing Tian when she's talking about Xu Kai in an interview). This is my first time watching Jing Tian and now I know I will keep up with her because she was amazing, and I can't believe it is just because of her chemistry with Xu Kai. She adds great depth to her character.
Romance:
The romance was incredible. They had beautiful intimacy. There are criticism that A Ying was too competitive, but that's what's attractive about her. She is ambitious and doesn't hide it. A quality that isn't seen often in shows. I love that the show goes out of it's way to demonstrate that women have similar appetite's as men, but because of their roles in society, very few can actually show it. Li Ni, who was raised primarily by women, and had very little fatherly influence in his life, knows to appreciate this quality in her, and is what attracts him to her. They are so well matched because they think the same. While Li Ni isn't competitive, because he has seen that court is dangerous and doesn't want it for himself, he is still cunning and he likes his partner to be able to keep up with him. Their courting is a series of bets, competitions, and banter. Their relationship is protecting each other and plotting together. While towards the middle, A Ying is forced to conform more to womanly life, she keeps her ambitions, and her intelligence doesn't leave. They aren't always rational either. Both make mistakes, and can be quick to judge each other for the other's actions if it negatively impacts them, but they are always impressed and even if subconsciously, they understand each other.
Side Characters:
Everyone made me feel something. Whether it was Li Ni's family making me feel absolute frustration for how stupid they are, or the villains for making me want to punch them in the face, or the bandits and the warriors of the West Pacify Army making me love them and die for them.
Rewatch value:
Absolutely! In fact, I'm going to go rewatch it right now.

A masterpiece ruined by a bad script

I've been anticipating Wonderland of Love when I was just a newbie in c-drama. I even read the titbits of the novel posted on the discussion forum of MDL. However, things weren't as good as it seemed to be and you will know why as you scroll down my review.

This drama tells about 2 generals of the best armies (Zhenxi Army and Cui Army), Li Ni and Cui Lin. At first, they tried to be one step ahead of each other and resulted in both bickering nonstop. Li Ni was a prince trying to hide his identity from the others. Only the Zhenxi Army knew the real identity of his. Meanwhile, Cui Lin was a woman in disguise. She called herself Lieutenant He in the Cui Army and had an adoptive brother to take her identity. What I liked the most was the funny banter in the Zhenxi Army (including those gangs of bandits). The plot sounds perfect for me, but there will always be loopholes in it and brace yourself for the outweighed cons.

Halfway through the show, I started to fast forward 2x because the story was so, so INFURIATING and I wanna knock some sense into the characters. Li Ni's dad was perhaps the DUMBEST emperor I've ever seen. He couldn't even see that his two elder sons were plotting against him. Cui Lin's adoptive brother, Liu Chengfeng (or what other user called him as Lost Cause Fruit Loop) turned into a delusional and obsessive character as soon as he found out that Cui Lin had no feelings towards him. He always TRIED to get Li Ni killed by plotting everything from the beginning to the end (how I wished to strangle him to death). Prime Minister Gu's daughter, Gu Wanniang was an obsessive character as well. When Li Ni didn't reciprocate her feelings, she began to feel resentful towards Cui Lin and also want her killed. Prime Minister Gu's arc wasn't the best if you compare it to Sun Lang's arc. His character wasn't powerful enough and there wasn't any backstory for his plot with a certain tribe (sorry, I've forgotten the name, whatever it was called). This may be caused by lazy scriptwriting and the writer perhaps wants to add fillers so that the drama looks rather long. It could've been cut into a shorter one.

The chemistry between the leads (Xu Kai and Jing Tian) are super hot and you will love the flirting between these two. Also, honorable mention to the second couple, Tao Zi and Xie Chang'er - they're the best second couple and a green-flag one too. The Consort (forgotten her name as well) does well with Sun Lang too.

Opening OST is the best one and other OSTs aren't quite memorable.

No rewatch value for me. I can't stand this drama anymore. One time is enough, there's no need to watch for the second time except if you're in a drama slump. Overall, a decent show ruined by a bad script and filled with dozens of delulu characters.

P.S.
I apologize if my review is a bit offensive.

Must watch!

Pleasantly surprised by this drama! This drama was not on my watchlist until i saw all the good reviews online. The buzz was well deserved!

The story itself was rich, complex and interesting. All the side characters had their own motivations for their actions that for the most part made sense. Xu Kai and Jing Tian have amazing amazing chemistry! I used to think Xu Kai only had chemistry with Bai Lu, but this drama proved me wrong. Xu kai is perfectly cast in his role. He has a mischevious flirty side reminiscent of his role in Arsenal Military Academy. Jing Tian perfectly plays the intelligent smart strong female general and is so beautiful! There is a good mix of sweetness/romance, angst, action and comedy. The pacing and editing is excellent. There are no boring parts to skip through. Overall a very enjoyable 40 episodes!
