Goddamn good

Well you can't blame me for giving this an overall 10... I mean you should watch to see for yourself. The first episode 2 episode might be a little too much for bullying and all but it's getting better and now I'm in episode 4 and still on going it is incredibly good. I love how kanghan became soft towards sailom when that 'incident' happened at home. The drama just keeps getting better and better though I have to wait every weekend for new episode but it's really worth the wait. This is the only series that I've been watching and waiting for an update weekly, I normally wait for the series to be completed before diving into it but this one is really calling my attention every new release. Perth and Chimon have really reallllly good chemistry so glad that they have their own series now because I wished for them to have their own series when they were casted as a side couple in Never Let Me Go which I find really cute. I also love the involvement of the two (might) side couple Nawa and Guy I loved them in My Gear And Your Gown so I was really surprised to see two of my favorite couple in one series. That's all I hope this helps you get encouragement to watch the series. Believe me it will not let you down til episode 4... will wait how the story unfolds.

Love this show!

I intended to wait until the show wrapped and binge-watch it but I waited 5 weeks, have caught up and I am enjoying it so far. I am not the target audience and I can appreciate what the show is doing. The plot is simple yet complex in ways where you get to think on a deeper level about class, society, morality, and such. The show is moving along so well.

The chemistry between the main leads is sizzling; the storyline is interesting and based on the novel, I am anticipating a lot of character development for both the leads— painful, heart-wrenching, and hopefully a HEA.

Waiting each week for a new episode is agonizing; I’m thinking I could hold off for another 6 weeks and finish it in one go, I hope I am successful 😂.

Annoying privilege

I'm late to the BL world and keep discovering actors I've never heard of and then have a list of dramas I need to find. This is no exception. Chimon (Sailom) is great. The expressions he has and the sincerity (it seems to me) with which he is portraying his clever, struggling, dignified character has pulled me into this story. In some scenes I hardly notice Perth (Kang) (sorry!). I'm not saying he can't act, just that his on-screen partner is really good.

The first few episodes made me feel so uncomfortable that I wasn't sure I wanted to continue. The bullying was nasty (obviously) and borderline sexual. The bully wanted power and worship, but deep down (as is sometimes the case) wanted to be noticed and cared for by someone...anyone.... It got better as it progressed.

The stark difference between a life of privilege and one of struggle made me angry. I know it happens in reality, but I was still angry!

As the drama progressed, I still wasn't sure if I would finish it, as Kang annoyed me so much (Perth's acting continued to be great).

What I liked: the grandmother - she's a smart cookie. Chimon's acting and his character, Sailom. The chemistry between Chimon and Perth was clear and there were a few scenes where they seemed to be having fun and there was real laughter. Loved Auto. Loved the side couple: Nawa and Guy - I didn't see that coming until it happened....

What I didn't like: the bullying

Chimon in a boys love romance is dangerous for my heart

This has to be the most giving roller-coaster of emotion from the Thai BLs I’ve watched this year. The start was too cruel and unacceptable to the point that I hate the overall appearance of Kanghan. I can’t stand those people who are privileged and keep bullying the weak for the sake of their entertainment. My blood kept boiling during the first few episodes of the inhumane behavior of the bully students as well as the evil teachers who were biased toward those students with power. The drama gets me into the pit of range and it somehow contributes a lot since I keep loving Sailom, better and better.

When I say that Chimon is dangerous for a homosexual series, I am of the combination of how great he is as an actor along with playing a gay role that has been my go-to type of genre. I cried episode by episode and wished nothing but genuine happiness to Sailom and his brother. Our boy deserves all the generosity in the world and always feel so touched by how hardworking and kind his personality is, despite the hellish world he lives in.

Throughout the show, I can see the redemption era of Kanghan and his crew, until the time when I fully forgive him but never forget how toxic he is from the start. Perth and Chimon have established an unexpectedly firm and solid chemistry. Their acting skills provide such an intimate and genuine touch of their respective characters.

The second couple, Marc and Pawin, did their best to keep up with the main couple. They previously acted as the main couple but this project is exceptional for the two of them since it attracts more people to be indulged with their pairing. Honestly, ever since their first drama together, I have been in love with them and am so happy to see a better result from them in this show.

Another memorable plot twist that the drama provides to us is the unexpected love triangle with Sailom, Kanghan, and Pimfah who have feelings for one person but the other person has feelings for the other person. Thankfully, Pimfah ended up moving on and found her future partner to their new teacher, Napdao.

Overall, Dangerous Romance has a good way of showcasing a dramatic youthful story between people with deep pasts. I like how consistent they are in providing us a quality-wise episodes. Best scene? -the cute and goofy smiles of Sasilom when having a bath together with Kanghan.

Giving up on troubled youth isn't the solution, guidance and direction can make a huge difference

I like the fact that this show shows the hard reality instead of just glossing over it. Bullying, broken family, social class difference, poverty, debt are very real problems and reality of life. I prefer realistic stories like this when it's portrayed well. The show hasn't tried to romanticize bullying, which is already a great start. Life isn't bright skies and butterflies and humam beings are hugely flawed. Social problems exist and many people can change for the better, if they get some push towards the right direction. Giving up on troubled youth isn't the solution, guidance and direction can make a huge difference, they deserve a second chance. I think this is important to keep in mind while watching the series.

The acting and chemistry between the leads is already enough to keep me fully invested. Perth Chimon have done a wonderful job. They've brought their characters to life and it's clear how incredibly talented they are. The supporting actors are good too.

Loved it!

This was my comfort show for its entire length! I loved the acting, liked the story, and the production quality was incredible. I don't like enemies to lovers, especially with as serious of bullying as this show dealt with, but I'm glad the show dropped the trope pretty early on. I loved seeing Kang and Sailom's romance and how their closeness shone even without the more conventional affection and lovey dovey vibe. I also enjoyed the other characters and side stories. Everyone looked so good. Can't wait for Perth and Chimon's next series!

In love

Tbh one of my fav bls: I’ve already seen Perthchimon for the first time in nlmg but I wasn’t so interested in them…with this series I started to appreciate them and now I fell in love with them; I love their chemistry and I’m so happy that they had the opportunity to be the main couple of a series.
Instead I found the side couple a little weak unfortunately:/
The ‘enemies to lovers’ series are always the best and when there are some action and moving scenes, they totally win me over. Super recommended <3

This show was so addicting

At first I was very skeptical especially from what I heard about the actors. The first episode was so good and convinced me to keep watching. And I have to say, I’m not disappointed. The chemistry was so good! Everytime Kang and Sailom made eye contact while telling each other how the love and care about each other I was melting. I’m also very happy with the ending. It’s kind of getting annoying to always get new highschool-university bl’s but I’m still convinced that this show is definitely worth watching

Love them

I just watched ep 6 as it was posted a few minutes ago and maaaaaaan I know this story will break me. You wanna know why? Their first kiss is in ep 6, that means that in the next 2 episodes they will still be unsure on what to do so they will "remain friends" or pretty much fall apart and then probably out of jealousy they will get back together in like ep 9-10, smth bad might happen in ep 11 as well and then the cute happy ending but UNTIL THEEEEEN UGHHHHH. I can't wait to see what happens and even tho i know it will break me almost like Only Friends will, I am happy ep 6 ended in a happy way

SAVAGE LOVE

It's a merry rainbow year, this is just another story that is out of this world, after nearly a year ever since we got to see Perth on screen again, considering the fact that I had enjoyed his performance in Love By Chance and Reminder the Series, my expectations for this were really high, and thanks to the teaser and the official trailer, I couldn't help but feel more eager to receive the show which is outstanding in the following ways

Dangerous Romance explores a trope that I felt was quite common that is to say from enemies to lovers and then eventually the me falling in love with my tutor part which seems to have started becoming a trend since WHY R U and I WILL KNOCK YOU which series scored quite a remarkable success, this practically meant that the drama's challenge was creating something new in this trope and in deed, I could feel that spark.

This is a heartfelt drama that portrays the inner demons, regrets, frustrations and even obsessions of the characters which is something so far from a sweet fairy tale romance that quite a number of us were used to, I guess what I mean is that there is a way the characters find sweetness in their tragic scenes which is far from a world of butterflies and rainbows that we have been used to in the past.

Secondly, this is one drama that will get you hooked for not only the story but also the dialogues and I would like to give my reasons, what makes series quite interesting for most people is the drama and cool plotline but many remarkable love stories tend to drift away when it comes to the messages delivered in their words and Dangerous Romance is unlike those many.

Every sentence is designed in a way that it speaks to me which I like but on top of that, the words, facial expressions and moods carry with them an intense weight of emotions which are heartfelt and very deep.

Thirdly, this is a story that to me is a true testament of high school, we have explored all the good stuff of high school in BL dramas but we'd never come across a series that narrates the darkest and most sombre moments of it, the sorrows and heartbreaks and above all, the challenges posed because of our inadequacies and yet for some reason this drama has made the best effort to paint that reality and bring it to life.

Eventually, this is a dangerous romance after all, the true forbidden love that challenges norms and beliefs, goes the extra mile to evolve as it weathers the true pressures of youth, perfectly modelled from the intense chemistry of the main leads, the fact that it keeps on revolving around them makes it a good drama worth my time that I can say, I haven't been disappointed so far and I can still hope for it to get better.
