The ML is the most humane undead which makes this drama fascinating. His two sidekicks are an added treat. The FL is pretty spikey early on given her trust issues. Still, she's loyal and eventually softens with an invitation to 'bite me', but things aren't that simple. Various villains complicate the ML's quest to become human.
