ZHANG HAN BOYFRIEND MATERIAL + HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP. WATCH THIS RATHER THAN TOXIC LOVE020
This dramas is heartwarming despite some bad things during the development. The relationship is healthy, natural, pure. There is a balance of positive and negative. Women are portrayed almost badly, like cheaters, chatty, only thinking about marrying a rich man for a luxurious life. Women who are not able to express themseleves. Shan Shan at the beginning seems like a doll without any will, but later a particular event will make her grow.Feng Teng at the beginning is near to stalking and abuse of power, but his character development for me is one of the best in the drama. He is cold, scheming, he almost does not support his friend for business, but loving his cute Shan Shan makes him change. He becomes caring, loving, gentle, sweet. He is no a God, he is not perfect, he is not a Prince because of his richness or because he is handsome. He makes mistakes, he has feeling. He is a perfect imperfect Prince.
Zhang Han and Zanilla Zhao portrayed them perfectly, even though i admit i melted every time with Zhang Han.
Each characters have a good development.
The only character i really dislike is Li Shu. I can't stand her attitude towards love, using schemes and so on. Too easy.
This story is so good and heartwarming, with the meaning that love means being perfectly imperfect together, fighting together against problems, growing together and choosing out path

Many comments below say that there is conflict in the later episodes, probably around 20-odd or so, but good lord if I watch an episode of this show I will lose my hair by pulling them out so much in frustration.

Underrated!
Endearing from start to end. Romanticism is played right. The rewatch value is high. It is light, sincere and has a good storyline. I keep rewatching this drama because it gives inspiration and hope. Han Zhang is best in this genre. Among Chinese drama, I like him best in this work and among his works, Iike him best portraying as CEO. He is the number one Chinese actor who can portray this type of role. he is a credible CEO; the way he carries himself, his expressions, the way he delivers his lines, and the type of clothing he wears. The best part in this drama is the scene where Shan Shan saw the Li Shu kissed Feng Teng. Frankly I hated Feng Teng in that scene and his reasoning for not 'evading' Li Shu because he treats her as family. The scene is so heartbreaking. Over-all, this drama is very watchable and I still keep rewatching it. Good job!Was this review helpful to you?
To be honest, the acting is actually pretty good. I thought I was used to those annoying characters trying to get close to the male lead in novels but seeing them acted out just made my blood boil and want to strangle them. Proof of the acting quality maybe?
What I was most annoyed with was the female lead. Personal taste, I prefer a strong and independent female lead, but the female lead in this show was so clumsy and dumb (for a lack of a better word), that I just couldn't stand it anymore. I would say 70% of the reason I am dropping the show is because of her.
I only watched 11/33 episodes to come to this conclusion so I wouldn't know if any of the above changes in future episodes but I probably will never find out.

UGH!!
I really wanted to like this show! The main female character is cute, the "Boss" is hot, and the story seems like it could be really fun and cute. BUT Shenshen is such an idiot throughout the whole thing that I had to quit watching. How would she keep her job? Let alone be trusted to do all the work when the coworkers decide they want to go out early. I mean JEEZ I understand being an airhead but come on! I would be worried if there was someone walking around my office with that look on her face. Also, if she went to university, she would know that even if you are a bubbly happy person, which I think is great, one does not run around the office doing jumping jacks cheering themselves on. Things that i love:
1. He notice her first and secretly watch her during lunch hour with just a window between them
2. He appreciate her simplicity even though naive
3. Although rich he didnt flaunt his wealth or shower her with extravagant gifts. i gind the engraved plate he gave her along with his number as emergency contact romantic and refreshing
4. I enjoyed watching her with her cousin and girlfriend as well as parents
Things i dislike
1. The pace sometimes seem slow. i felt it could have been editted to 25episodes for a better flow and pace
2. Although acting wise was ok. I did find Zhang Han quite stony faced in some scenes which affected the chemistry as a result.
3. i wish the guy's character to be more proactive. He sometimes has to be told she's upset orworried by others before he act on it or reassure her
4. The proposal in my opinion wasn't that romantic
5. As a romance drama of 33episodes we should have been rewarded with more sweet moments or romantic scenes. i kept waiting for their kiss among the fields as seen in the opening theme
6. Her character was decent enough although I wish she had caught on earlier. Doesn't hurt to be smarter

Why is it rated so high?
I wasn't able to continue after 7th ep...things just don't make any sense...I just wasn't able to see why would a girl would want to date a guy who invited her as his date to a party but then abandoned her and went to flirt with other women...I am not saying that the guy is bad but he could show the least respect to her by inviting her as his date...FL is just simply a 'cute girl doing cute things' type...other than eating and working as a source of gossip, she doesn't really showed much ability...there's a difference between 'naive' and 'stupid'...she can picture as the director of company confess to her but can never imagine in her dreams that the boss would confess to her...I started it with great expectations just after completing a fabulous no bullshit drama-'Meeting You' but only to be disappointed...maybe I will cont. in future.
