  • Waking Love Up is a remake of Prince Turns to Frog. It's interesting to see how they differ and the different actors' performances.

  • Characters are fun and interesting, Roy Chiu and Tiffany Tang make a great paring. If you liked Prince Turn to Frog, then it's good, but it doesn't follow the same plot all the way, and the characters are totally different. Enjoyable.

I agree with most that the supporting male and female had a generous amount of scenes and that voices were dubbed but overall I liked the drama because Roy Chiu and Tiffany Tang make a cute couple. Initially I had doubts watching this drama but glad that I did not drop it. Roy was very cute!

it seems to be part of the entertainment culture over in that part of asia. there is speculation that the directors will dub if they feel the voice of a certain voice actor will suit the role better.

The series ended up revolving around the secondary male lead instead of the two main leads. That's just bad if they can't successfully execute to have the story be mainly about the 2 main leads. The main lead actress felt like a secondary character because of the poor writing. Why is it always the helpless female lead trying to change the mind of the male lead not to break up?! Getting tired of that trend

Yeah, I agree that there was a bit too much focus on the secondary couple and not enough Xiao Bei and Tian Qi. Also, I didn't really like any of the supporting characters. :/
