At the end of the script, the 2 writers and director also argued over the plot point that Mo Jun Jie has never believed in Huang Yu Xuang’s time/dimension-travel. CFC explained: “The director believed that MJJ liked Chen Yun Ru, so he had to recognise who she was, but for me, he had never believed her.”

In my opinion, MJJ would not believed in HYX's time travel story because the person he liked is Chen Yun Ru.
