[edit]Synopsis

15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya is an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

I was left with so much feelings after watching this incredibly moving drama. Sice it's based on a true story it made the plot even more touching.

The story is very realistic, probably because it's based on the diaries of the female lead in the drama. All characters are unique and the actors bring out the feelings of their characters so good, I sometime got the feeling that it was some sort of twisted reality show.
The drama develops pretty slowly and at times it can be a bit annoying, but mainly it just adds more emotions to the story. You get to know the characters really well and if your own emotions never matches the ones they are expressing, then your heart is made out

The story of line of the drama is so sad, especially since it is based on a true story. The plot overall is good, but I was a little ticked off at the male lead the last one or two episodes (It would be a spoiler if I told you what happens).

The acting is amazing for all parties, but especailly the female lead -her portrayal of the disease progression was so convincing and heartbreaking to watch.

The music from what I can remember was fine and not to repetitive, so I left its score blank.

I will definately rewatch this drama again and I highly recommend at least watching this once.

I've never cried so hard in my entire life as I did when I watched this drama. I started bawling my eyes out at the end of the first episode, and just kept crying through the next ten. A very powerful and touching story. It's one of those dramas you'll never forget.

i stayed away from this drama for the longest time because I kept reading about how its so sad and I honestly didn't believe I would be moved by it (at the time I thought j-dramas that weren't set out for comedic relief weren't that great) but I was so wrong... honestly-- I rarely cry from a show (I get sad yes but rarely cry) and this drama really pushed me there a few times.. its not a melo-sadness, its more of a pure touch-your-heart kinda sadness... I wasn't really moved by Koizora, but this drama definitely hit all the right marks..
