[edit]Synopsis

A family consisting of a jobless father, a domestic mother, and eight children with different personalities. As the title suggests, the family also has a mysterious "11th member." Kamiki plays the eldest son Kazuo, a high school student who helps support the family through part time jobs serving at a gas station and doing newspaper delivery. He clashes with his father (Tanabe Seiichi), an artsy photographer with no real earning power. Mitsuura Yasuko plays the part of an obedient wife, while Kato Seishiro plays the shy youngest child who can see a ghost (the "11th member") but doesn't tell the rest of the family. --Tokyograph

Ok, so this was one of the best choices I made recently. If you’re looking for a sweet and hilarious drama this is definitely the one.

There were some delays with the subbing so it kept me waiting and waiting for the next episode, but I don’t regret it at all. First you have a family with 8 children, that alone is auspicious of some great comedy developments. I really loved how each of them had their unique traces and space in the story. The other family members that were added also contributed to some of the most hilarious moments. The grandfather and specially the uncle (I love Hoshino Gen’s voice, really.) It also pinned some social problems that I don't want to spoil you, but

  • They both involve large families, and the oldest child having to support them because of their low-income/no-income/lousy parents. Though the stories are totally different, however, they're both very enjoyable.

@moopoo-- I download raw files via torrents and get softsubs files from the D-Addicts site.

This show is bloody hilarious. It has me literally laughing out loud which is very rare even when I find something quite funny. It's absolutely worth the wait for the fansubs (currently up to 6 out of 9 eps), which are a labor of love by one or two individuals. This is a hidden comedy gem, imo.

I've only watched until ep 3 and I'm already in love with this series. Unbelievably funny! Halarious! I've already rewatched ep 2 a few times at it's still genius. The cast is good, especially Kamiki stands out, he does a great job acting. I really respect him now. This'll probably become a favorite
