Tahara Mika is an ordinary high school girl. One day, out of the blue, one of her classmates kisses her. His name is Sakurai Hiroki also known as Hiro. Hiro stands out because of his bleached hair and piercing. Apparently he is also dating someone. Mika is shocked and hurt that her first kiss had to happen this way. She desperately tries to forget about it. Then, her friend tells her that she should find somebody else and suggests Tatsuya, another boy in their class. However, before she even realizes it, Mika is already in love... --TBS

    The plot was really good, although I the pace was a bit hit or miss for me -the first couple of episodes moved very quickly while the latter ones dragged a bit. I personally think this drama could have been shortened by at least one episode, but I guess it wouldn't be much of a series if that had happened.

    The acting was fine and music were fine with nothing glaringly terrible or exceptional.

    I might watch this again sometime, but there are other dramas that I would put rewatching as a higher priority over this. I found this a rather average drama per my taste.

    Well, first off....I can really relate to this drama. I definitely felt the same as Mika towards beginning a relationship.

    There was just one small thing that bugged me-----their sound effects like i.e a punch being thrown, is just horrible. It sounds like something out of a video game. [Actually, I thought it was cool...but it'd be nicer if it was more realistic.]

    This drama can start off as being pretty plain, but once you sit back and watch...the magic will unravel---you'll be completely captivated by this tear-jerking drama.

    too sad:( I hate it when i start watching drama and it has sad ending...after watching this and 49 days,i started checking if ending is sad before watching any drama:(

    Couldn't stand the drama. Or the awful wigs. I do appreciate the story, sad stories should be told, but no. Just no. Mostly just sighed and waited for the episodes to finish. Want to watch a real tearjerker? Watch One Litre of Tears.

    I don't know why people say things like, This sucks or something. I honestly cried during the drama AND the movie. It was very tearjerking.

    Defiantly a great movie to watch!! I cried my eyes out!!<br />The second episode, I started crying already!!<br />When I cried, I used a Towel!! No tissue boxes around so i picked up a towel!!

    I don't know why I'm drawn to tragic love stories like this, but I am. I cried, especially at the end, but I quite liked this drama.

    I didn't cry that much since I've watched 'Last friends'
    And it hurted more because I already knew the whole story, I've watched the movie first, and the drama was more touching, good actors, lots of feelings, I didn't regret watching it at all. And I love such dramas.

    It seems quite a lot more people prefer the movie, but me personally, I much prefer the drama. Maybe because it was wider spread out over the 6 episodes, I found certain scenes more cute in the drama.
