Based on the popular manga, Oh Ha Ni is a clumsy student who falls for the perfectionist, Baek Seung Jo. However, Seung Jo is indifferent towards her and rejects her love. When Ha Ni's house collapses, she and her father moves into his long-time friend's house. It turns out that Seung Jo is the friend's son and Ha Ni is given the opportunity to be near the guy she loves. Will she be able to move Seung Jo's heart?

I am actually a fan of the manga where it taken the story from so me liking this series is expected. First of, I was never really into with the whole remaking stuffs so it took me awhile to finally watch this! Secondly, I was also a fan of the second live-action adaptation of the manga so I kinda skeptical if I will really give my time to finally sit down and watch this. So one fine day when I'm feeling like a lost puppy looking for one lost love I decided to give this a try. And I'm really glad I watched this coz it's not bad afterall! I love how light the atmosphere and how beatiful it was shot! Love the chemistry between the leading actors.

About the acting aspect, Kim Hyun Joong is not the best actor out there but his role in this drama make him believable unlike his former role in BOF. The role fits his character. As for the rest.. All I can say they did a wonderful job! I think many of this drama viewers did not like the way Hana stalks/love Baek like she doesn't have a life at all but if you follow the manga, she's really like that!

Overall, it's a must watch to people who likes watching young romance. read more

1-Why did i watched this : As a huge fan of Itazura Na kiss i was tracking down the dramas adaptations, this was the 2nd adaptation after i watched and was disappointed in the old jap version so i was anxious how's it gonna be.

2-Storyline/Plot : This drama didn't follow the manga literally; there were some changes from the original story but the plot was the same. The foolishness, the childish events, those happy romatic and sometimes sad dramatic moments, it really bring back a lot of memories from one of my fav stories ever! and it was extremly fun to see this adaptation with all its great events.

3-Acting/Cast : Well, out of the 3 versions, this one had the best cast ever then the taiwanese version comes 2nd, i loved Baek Seung Jo's coldness even though it was exagerated sometimes but it really reminds me of Naoki's personnality in the anime and i fell for OH Ha Ni's sweet stupidity, the kind that won't make u annoyed and then the side cast; they were great like Baek Seung Jo's mom : her character is so awesome and his brother along with Bong Joon Gu and Oh Ha Ni's friends, they really reminds me of those from the anime.

4-The ending : Well, there is the You Tube Edition so this is not considered as an end, i wished if they made it a little longer or a 2nd season bcz i don't feel like it got to the main point like the taiwanese version did.

5-How did it affect me : I felt the story of Itazura na kiss all over again and i forgot about the disappointment that i got after the jap version and i felt relieved somehow even though i wanted it to be a little deffrent but generally it really got into me.

6-Overall : If u are Itazura na kiss fan u need to watch this.
If u like romance u need to watch this.
If u like comedy+foolishness/Childish (the sweet kind) u
need to watch this.
If u love seeing cute cast u need to watch this.

P.S : The korean version was a medium between the disappointing jap version and the marvellous taiwanese version and each one have its own taste. read more

Both dramas have same screenwriter and the plot is kinda similar. Plus the actor who plays Oh Ha Ni's father (in playful kiss) and Shin Chae Kyung's father (in goong) is same : DD

I actually finish this drama even tho I was cringing through out the whole thing.. it was so bad, maybe is a matter of personal preference but I have a hard time having any respect for a girl that doesn't value herself. I kept waiting for the drama to turn around and for it to show some real growth for Ha Ni but alas there was none. Althought I'm fan of Kim Hyung Joong, I just couldn't stand him this one.. to me personally there was not chemistry between the leads. sorry fellow drama addicts but this one is a total missed for me.

Dropped this. I usually NEVER do this. I stick it out till the end and then give a proper review. But...my goodness. This girl...I got so sick of seeing her following him around like a lost puppy. I HOPED he would turn it around and show some feelings but this guy was like a rock. No emotion. I think I got to episode 12-ish before I finally gave up...maybe I'll finish it. Maybe not. -_____-

Hopefully the other versions of this story are better.

I really liked this show until they got together. Once they are dating I expect the guy to not be a total jerk anymore. Sometimes is ok, but he was a jerk pretty much 100% of the time. Not cool. I'd have dumped him if I were her, love or no.

I wish someone warned me about this drama before starting it... oh wait... I actually was warned that I might not like it -_- But I chose not to listen to them because I was mesmerized by some vids from youtube and the first 2 episodes really got me hooked so I fell in the trap. I didn't know AT ALL what to expect cause this was the first version I ever watched. I would've never started it if I knew things will be this constant till the end. I always hoped BSJ will have his turn at chasing her, but it never happened :( I can't believe anyone can enjoy watching a person with no hopes and dreams, whose only desire in life is to live with that guy they like. It's beyond depressing, it's such a terrible scenario that the mere thought of it actually happening to someone in reality makes me tremble :S

It seems everyone either likes this drama or not i personally adored it yes Ha Ni needed to be slapped up side her head for following him so much! however what this drama had was eye candy (Kim) and cuteness it was also silly ,but in a fun way this isn't for hard core drama fans I would recommend this to someone who just wants to see a anime come to life as a live action.

Ha ni is my fave female lead...i loveeee her...she was so funny...my friend hate her personality in movie but i like how she stick to him till the end and earned what she wanted...and she suite the role...if it was anyone else i would hate out of jealousy but Ha ni was great

I'm not sure why people say this drama is overrated and what not... I personally think this drama was great there was a hot guy who knew how to act although I didn't like the actress as much I felt someone else could of done a better job, but still this was a great drama it was REALLY FUNNY and cute.
If you like funny romantic and childish love then watch this, because compared to other dramas where there's alot of revenge and man stealing this isn't like that.

OMG I really like this drama some how , it was very funny but the thing is I don't like the mean girl , showing off her boobs man who would like her , if some stupid person would like her **mad** unreadable for people but if your Korean don't say anything Araseo! "?? ??? ? ?? ?? ???? ????" There madness been done.

Actually is a very nice drama, is different cuz the man is not trying to win the girl, the girl wants to win him doing all kind of things even studying. I've rewatched this drama like 20 times, just my favorite one. How can you not fall in love with it, Ha Ni is so dumb. Don't care about the other reviews this is a very good drama.

I really don't know what most of you doesn't like with thos drama. I loved it so much that I am looking it for the second time... I did't watch the taiwanese version but I found the girl so cute and maybe some of you may find she was like a stalker but I loved the way she loved Seug Jo no matter what he may say to her. Maybe I am strange but in every drama I watch the part I prefer is when they are not able to tell each other their love. Like that it give me more fellings and that's what I like.

I watched this one first before i watched to Tiawanese version and i will agree with the reviews posted above. The korean version was not that good.
