1-The reason I watched this : As a huge fan of Itazura Na kiss I was hunting down all the dramas adaptations, this was the 2nd adaptation after I saw the disappointing J-version.

2-Storyline/Plot : This drama cut many events from the manga; there were some changes from the original story but the plot was the same. The foolishness, the childish events, those happy romantic and sometimes sad dramatic moments were present which brought back a lot of memories from one of my favorite stories ever!
It was fun to see this adaptation even though I wasn't really dazzled since it lacked many important events.

3-Acting/Cast : I like Kim Hyun Joong because he's attractive but let's face it hes not that great as an actor

Funny how there's nothing really special about this, yet it's super cute to watch, even if they main characters have practically no chemistry together. They still make my heart pound in emphathetic angst at least once every episode. A little too long by the end (the second last episode was atrocious!), but overall a fun little watch. Honestly I thought I would hate this, but I found myself enjoying it against my will.

  • They are both live-actions of the same manga.

  • Both dramas have same screenwriter and the plot is kinda similar. Plus the actor who plays Oh Ha Ni's father (in playful kiss) and Shin Chae Kyung's father (in goong) is same : DD

Would not recommend this drama. No chemistry between the main characters, drama dragged on forever, and the acting was just okay.

    Too predictable, annoying, and slow.
I wanted strong characters, I guess it's not for me.

Please, don't waste your time watching this drama. I don't understand why they would cut so many scenes from the manga. Even if the scenes were included, it was so lacking (not funny or even meaningful) as compared to the Taiwanese ver. It Started With A Kiss. Not only that but the acting sucks as well. It was so bad that I had to skip some of the scenes. Oh, don't expect any chemistry between the lead characters. Not to mention, the characters development was so badly done. Never once was I convinced that Seung Jo loved Ha Ni. Yes, the school setting, houses etc. are very fancy looking as compared to all the other versions but that's one of the factors that ruined this drama for me. I just couldn't relate to the characters.

If you really want to watch a live action of Itazura Na kiss, just go and watch It Started With A Kiss instead. Now, that's the right way to remake a drama.

Summary here is a bit misleading, mostly this: "perfectionist, Baek Seung Jo" bc this isnt true He was boy who had high IQ and some persons with high IQ have syndrome where they have difficulties with emotions and how to express them.It can be treated in some cases BSJ mother is very worried that his son grows up to be 100% rational person without never knowing what feelings/emotions are, so she seeks out for somebody who can help Luckily she founds that person with extraordinary personality what may be trigger Mostly people who watch this drama complain that main male lead is so emotionless, expressionless and cold, they never see what really happens So if you start watching this drama keep that in mind and you see how this boy changes and how this girl never changes

Reason to watch: Kim Hyun Joong. But as much as I like his handsome face, his acting sucks. Oh Ha Ni character was irritating. The story was okay, just watch another drama that is worth investing your 16 hours...

This was the first Korean drama I've watched all because I really liked the anime itazura na kiss and because of this drama I've become a drama addict,so even though it has a lot of bad reviews to me this drama will always be special... I liked this drama so much that I've seen it 4/5 times already...

I really tried to like this drama but it just didn't have an appeal to me. I expected much since this was done by koreans but it just didn't live up to my expectations. I'm sorry PK, fans, but I have to say that ISWAK and TKA is much better than this. They should have made the actors watch ISWAK first so that they will know how to carry out their roles. One major thing that really really turns me off was that they don't have XIAO KE Ai! Now that dog was so adorable in ISWAK that i longed for PK to have their own version of XIAO KE Ai but for some reason only known to them, they chose not to include a dog. Hmmp!!!
