When Gong Chan (Lee Dong Wook) meets the lively and beautiful Yoo Rin (Lee Da Hae), he finds out that she has connections to his missing cousin, whom his grandfather has been searching for. He asks Yoo Rin to lie about being his long missing cousin until he can find his real cousin. She says yes, but soon their feelings for each other get in the way of their plans. Gong Chan's friend, Jung Woo (Lee Jun Ki) falls for Yoo Rin while Gong Chan's ex-girlfriend, Seo Hyun (Park Si Yeon), a pro tennis player, tries to win him back. Will the two ever tell each other how they feel? Will Gong Chan ever find his real cousin?

All right, my two cents on this drama.

Writing: 9/10. The Hong sisters are brilliant at rom-coms. All their works ROCK, no exceptions. That being said, though funny, adorable, and addictive, My Girl became very angsty towards the end. Which is fine but... we could just have kept with the funny and not go all melo.

Cast: Full points. OMG Lee Da Hae so awesome!!!!! She needs to do more rom-coms! Lee Dong Wook is totally hot and has LOTSA chemistry with Lee Da Hae, but he's not as good. And I know some people rly love Junki, but honesty, he was just a side wheel. He wasn't even "second lead", Dong Wook and Dae Hee just were awesome together, no better alt pairing.

Music: Same songs, but really good songs. Check them out: "Never Say Goodbye" by Mario and Nesty.

Rewatch: It was a really long watch, so a rewatch seems iffy... but if I had time, I would.

Overall: BEST DRAMA EVER. Okay, meybe tied for best place. read more

1-Why did i watched this : I just read the synopsis then i unconsciously started to watch then i actually finished it in about 3 days non stop and i've got to admit that i liked it since i finished in that short period.

2-Storyline/Plot : Totally loved the story, it was well done plus the events passed by so smoothly without any blanks or slow moments. The start was awesomly done and i really can't forget it and then everything took place in a good way.

3-Acting/Cast : Lee Da Hae OMG she did her role perfecty no mistakes, and the way she lied all the time that was very believable and super hilarious at some moments plus other cast weren't that bad but weren't that great neither but i liked the lead actor even though i'm not too familiar with him.

4-Music : It was the same song played all along the drama but it was very good so no problems.

5-Rewatch value : I don't think that it could be fully rewatched but there's some moments that totally deserve the rewatch.

6-The ending : A nice cute ending not that big but i totally loved the guests who showed up in the last ep.

7-Overall : This is the kind of drama that's recommandable to everyone and every taste, i doubt if there is someone who don't like "My Girl" no matter what's his cup of tea. read more

Lie to Me

These drama's have A LOT of similarities. Both of the leading males are rich and they both have similar friendly & supportive secretaries. Both of the male leads have a close friend/brother who becomes somewhat of a love rival, and like the same girl. & there's more that I just can't think of now.

Full House

Both of these dramas are classic Korean Romance Dramas. If you like one, chances are high that you'll like the other. Both of them have female leads who change throughout the story.

I watched this many years ago when I was exploring korean dramas for the first time, it was I believe one of those I watched right after Boys before flower... But I don't remember it, It doesn't seem to have staed in my memory. I should rewatch it one day...

I so wanted to rate this higher than an 8 but the poor chemistry between LDH & LDW in addition to the awful acting by Park Si Yeon stopped me from doing so...

And 5 days later... I cannot find a single drama to watch, because all I really want to do is rewatch My Girl -- and I have only ever rewatched 3 dramas before. If this is not the sign of a wonderful drama, I don't know what is.

only downside to me was how especially obnoxious the second female lead was -- they usually are, but this one had me covering up her face when on screen towards the end just so i didn't have to see her turn her nose up in disgust/disbelief and then snort (the only expression she seems to know how to make, by the way). otherwise, this is pretty much the perfect rom-com; extremely fun, entertaining, and at all the right times, romantic.

I remember it was really funny at times, the maincharacter was funny. But when I think of this series I mostly remember what a pain it was and how much it annoyed me. It may have something to do with the awful fashion sense and a overdose of ''No! Don't!'' moments. And the main guy was a creep.
