  • Bad and Crazy

    1. Bad and Crazy

    Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

    10

Ahh my words can't describe how much I like the plot for this drama and not to forget to mention my love for the characters.

A drama about drugs and corruption but at the same time is about something that is a lot deeper and complicated that get shown later in the drama. Even though the drama kind of switched up the main story at episode 8, it was still very interesting to watch more about Ryu Soo Yeol past.

I loved the difference in personality between Ryu Soo Yeol and K and how they complimented each other at the same time. A well made duo and the choice of actors was perfect!

As the drama is called, its all about the bad and crazy and I love it! Its super entertaining, you just cant sit still watching it because its always something that happen. If I have to point out something I didn't like, it have to be about the drama having a lot of different people in it and a lot of names to relate to. It can be a little confusing but as you are learning the names and connecting them to the right faces, its okay.

  • My Name

    2. My Name

I can't explain my love for this drama. I really felt with the main actress and what she have gone through. From not having anyone else but her father and to see her dad get killed. To follow her through her journey to take down the person that killed her father, her only purpose in life, was a rollercoaster. Many twists and turns that made it really exiting to watch.

Its my first time watching Han SoHee and her acting is out of this world and I can't forget to mention the other main actors. Its not everyday i have felt in love with so many actors at the same time.

For the ending of the drama, there was things I expected that would happen but at the same time not and that made me tear up.  A really well executed drama that i will miss alot.

  • Extracurricular

    3. Extracurricular

I had high expectations of this drama after watching the trailer. I thought it would be more action in it and more about what the ML did after school. I guess I didn't  really read the plot good enough because I thought the ML was a part of a criminal  gang and catched bad people after school. I guess I was wrong about that but I still wished it was more about what he did after school and more happening.

The drama was a little slow for my taste but it happened more the last episodes. It took me awhile to like the FM and the ML but I started to like them more as I was watching. I do really feel for the ML who has a wish to live a normal life but after the circumstances he is in, its not that easy and he follow the wrong path.

The thing I liked about this drama is how it showcase the real and dark side of being a teenager in this century. Bullying, depression, prostitution, friendship, being in toxic relationships to teenagers that comes from rich families and the ones that have nothing. Its all in all a good school drama even though I expected more.

I really liked the OST as I also noticed that the same people behind the OST in My Name is also behind the OST for this drama. What I didn't like was the ending of the drama. It was too open for my taste...ahhh..Like it has to be a season 2.

  • Move to Heaven

    4. Move to Heaven

I must say that I have never watched a kdrama like this before. I had never heard about this drama before until it popped on my recommendations on Netflix and got really curious based on the storyline.

I have never in my life cried so much over a kdrama as I did watching this. Like every episode made me tear up and watching the last episode, I had to stop the drama several times because it was so emotional.

Again, it is a very emotional drama about life - people that passes away at different stages in life and of different reasons. A drama that really made my think that I need to appriciate my life more along with my friends and family.

I really liked the main male lead playing Han Geu Roo and I loved watching his relationship with his uncle Cho Sang Gu progress throughout the drama. Not did we only watch other peoples hardships and losing people that they love, but we also get to know the main characters Han Geu Roo and Cho Sang Gu  past and hardships as well. A really touching and beautiful drama.

Even though it is not a kdrama I would usually watch, it has to be one of my favorite dramas.

The Sound of Magic is truly a  beautiful kdrama. Even though I am not a huge fan of musicals in general, I didn't really have anything against that watching this. Many of the songs was just beautiful and inspiring but some I found more awkward but that's just my personal taste.

Loved the story behind this kdrama and I guess because I am struggling to find my path in life, this kdrama really spoked to me a lot.

I really liked how magic was used as not a way to "scam" or only for entertaining people but mostly about regardless of your hardships in life, your struggles...magic can help you disappear for a moment, away from the hard reality we live in.

I appreciated watching the two very different characters, Yoon Ah Yi and Na Il Deung. How different their lives are but at the same time, they are struggling with their own things. Yoon Ah Yi has to take care of her sister and herself because their mother left them then their father left them because of financial reasons. She is desperate to earn money and to grow up.  Na Il Deung on the other hand is more "privileged". He comes from a wealthy family that have made a path for him career wise. Because of  the parents high expectations of him, it take a huge toll on him and Na Il Deung is not sure if he wants to go on the path the parents have choosen for him.

I must say that I looooove Ji Chang Wook . I just adored his warm and unique personality in The Sound of Magic. I have never watched him before (except checking out "Melting me softly") so I really want to check out more of his works.

  • A Model Family

    8. A Model Family

    Korean Drama - 2022, 10 episodes

    8.5

The reason why I wanted to watch this drama in the first place was mainly because of Park Hee Soon after him becoming one of my newest favorite male actors after watching him for the first time in My Name.

The things I appreciated about this drama was the story. The story of this drama is both very dark and feels very realistic. A drama that showcase the importance of money and what a person is capable doing to get money in the most desperate times. I tend to like happy endings or just things/situations that turns out well but that was not the case at all, and I kinda appreciated that in this drama. It just goes downhill and downhill for the main male character that does everything for money to save his son and his family. All of his actions just hits him in the face instead. It never goes in his favor.

I loved the plot twist that they revieled in episode 8/9 that made the whole story more interesting. I also really liked the two first episodes along with the three last episodes in general because as I said, the story gets mote exciting and its more action and stuff happening. But I have to say that there were some part of the story that I didn’t really understand and I  could not tie some parts together. I wished these things could have been portrayed better, but I don’t know if it was intentional or not.

Even though I find some closure after watching the final episode, there is the final minutes of the drama that caught my off guard...and it gave me a feeling that it may be a season 2?

I really wanted to like this drama but I will not give it a full score because for me it was not the best drama I have seen in my life but it was not bad either, just an average drama for me despite that kinda storyline and genre is totally my style.

I must say that I don't watch BL dramas at all but because my bias in DKZ is Jaechan and one of my biases in KNK is Seoham + that I have seen many clips from this drama on social media so I  had to check it out.

Feels like ages since I have seen Seoham since he is no longer with KNK and the group is not that active anymore, so it made me really happy seeing him doing something he wants to do career wise.

I don't really have much to say other than that this drama was very beautiful and sweet. It didn't have like a crazy unique story but I liked to watch the relationship between two people progress throughout the drama .I loved how different the two main characters personality was but at the same time got attracted to each other.

    DROPPED

I wanted to watch it because of the storyline even though this is not a type of a drama I would usually watch. The first episode was a little slow for my taste and I had a hard time finishing it.  And I don't know why I wasn't so fond of the female leads personality.

Maybe I will give it another chance.

  • Awaken

    14. Awaken

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    DROPPED

I really liked the first episode and I could feel the potential of this drama.  After watching more, I don't know if its only me but the characters didn't really stand out for me except Min Namkoong.  There were people who were shown that I did not understand who was and many names were mentioned and I did not understand who was who, so it was a little confusing. Maybe I will give this drama a new try later.

  • Melting Me Softly

    15. Melting Me Softly

I thought this drama would be very interesting to watch after reading the plot for this drama and I have seen some edits of this drama on social media, so it catched my attention even more. I don't know but I couldn't  finish the first episode.

  • Abyss

As a fan of fantasy, crime and mystery, I really got interested in the concept of this drama. As I started watching, it was just something about this that was not interesting enough for me.

Maybe it was because there were scenes I found boring, characters that I didn't  really feel attached to and the drama not being exiting enough, I guess Im a person that expect more of the first episode, especially after watching My Name and Bad and Crazy before this one.
